You Are My Only Sunshine-Chapter 905: Still Have to Guard Against Thieves
Chapter 905: Chapter 905: Still Have to Guard Against Thieves
Mo Jun said she was not feeling well and wanted to go to the hospital herself, and Rumeng agreed immediately.
Shangguan Tao wouldn’t stop Mo Jun either.
He knew she wasn’t Shangguan Xiaotian, and since they had a working relationship, he naturally wouldn’t do anything to her. As long as Mo Jun listened and handed over the things Rumeng gave to her, that would be fine.
Moreover, he didn’t have any guard against Mo Jun; in his eyes, Mo Jun was just an ordinary woman.
The resemblance between her and Shangguan Xiaotian was merely a coincidence.
Rumeng immediately took Mo Jun to the hospital herself, busying herself along the way.
Hao Yansen had also asked Bai Lang to arrange everything in advance.
Bai Lang had returned to A City again; upon hearing that Mo Jun was in trouble, he rushed to investigate. They all cared about her, and knowing she was fine now, they were much relieved.
After arriving at the hospital, Mo Jun had to enter an emergency room for a solo checkup, and Rumeng waited for her outside.
Entering the emergency room, Mo Jun saw Hao Yansen, dressed in a white coat and wearing a mask, striding toward her.
He picked her up from the wheelchair and placed her on the bed, then instructed Bai Lang, "Examine her and see how serious it is."
Mo Jun smiled and reassured him, "I’m really not seriously hurt. I’m using a wheelchair because I’m a bit weak; there’s really no big issue."
But Bai Lang still examined her carefully and smiled, "There really is no problem. Our Jun Mei is blessed with good fortune and a long life; nothing will happen to her in this lifetime."
Yet Hao Yansen still felt heartache.
He sat on the edge of the bed, gently touched the bandage on her forehead, and asked softly, "Does it hurt?"
Mo Jun shook her head with a smile, "It doesn’t hurt. Don’t worry, I’m really okay."
"How can you say you’re fine with injuries like these?" Hao Yansen was dissatisfied. He lifted Mo Jun’s skirt to see the abrasions on her leg, his brows furrowing tightly.
"Why are there so many wounds?"
"They’re just abrasions. They look serious but are actually fine." Mo Jun continued to reassure him.
But Hao Yansen was still concerned, "Bai Lang, get her some medicine so these wounds won’t scar."
"Don’t worry, they won’t scar," Bai Lang said lightly, as they were indeed just abrasions.
"Give her the best medicine. Also, stay in A City for a while and treat her well until she’s healed." Hao Yansen continued instructing.
Bai Lang nodded with a smile, "Alright, alright, I got it. Rest assured, I guarantee our Jun Mei will be well taken care of! I won’t let a single scar remain on her, okay?"
Hao Yansen immediately looked at him coldly, "Did I say you were to take care of her?"
"..." Bai Lang, "Didn’t you?! Didn’t you just tell me to heal her, to treat her well?"
"Treatment is treatment, and care is care. Your responsibilities are limited to treatment only." Hao Yansen firmly emphasized.
Bai Lang: "..."
Seriously, what’s that supposed to mean? Does he think he’s trying to steal the girl?
Is he that kind of person? Moreover, for him to be so distrustful, it really hurts his feelings.
"Boss, I really wouldn’t go after your woman. You don’t have to treat me like a thief. You’re making it hard for me to be brothers with you happily." Bai Lang sighed and shook his head, trying to get Hao Yansen to say something reassuring.
And his reply almost choked him.
"Whether we can be brothers doesn’t matter, but you still have to be guarded like a thief." Hao Yansen said coolly, speaking as though it was only natural.
