Young Brother-in-law Is Now My Husband-Chapter 1355: Everything Falling In Place
Chapter 1355: Everything Falling In Place
When Lu Lijun and An Tian were about to leave the cafe, they came across someone familiar.
“Lu Lijun,” said the man and then looked at the one next to him, “An Tian. Such a pleasant coincidence.”
“Indeed, Alex,” An Tian replied.
Alex looked at Lu Lijun and asked, “I heard president Lu is here as well. Is she doing fine?”
Lu Lijun didn’t like that he enquired about Jiang Yuyan, “I think, there is no need for Mr. Alex to enquire about my family members.”
Alex smiled at the hostile young man, “Indeed but she and I share some kind of relation though it didn’t last for long.”
“I don’t think there was even something or she would not have backed down,” Lu Lijun countered.
“Being your family, doesn’t she tell you the truth?” Alex asked, his words sounded mocking to Lu Lijun.
“Whatever it is, we will talk it out,” Lu Lijun replied.
Alex chuckled, “Instead of being hostile to me, shouldn’t you ask me the fact so you can know her better,” Alex then looked at An Tian, “Young guys these days are full of themselves, aren’t they?”
An Tian only smiled and said, “Then being older ones, we should guide them in the right way.”
“Depends if they want any help or not,” Alex replied and then looked at Lu Lijun, “Seeing how stubborn you can be, I think for her sake at least I should tell you.”
“What is it?” Lu Lijun asked.
“Everything she planned was fake. She only used it to leave for the USA and then she would have gone on her way and I on my way. In exchange we have signed business deals which ended up beneficial for both of our companies,” Alex replied.
It surprised Lu Lijun as he only looked at Alex in shock. “Did she….”
“Hmm,” Alex nodded, “You are the only one who could dare drag her along with you. You need to understand such a fierce woman, why would she allow you so easily?”
Lu Lijun understand Alex must have seen him and her during that naming ceremony or there was no other incident when they were at the same place.
An Tian chuckled, “As expected, you have good observing skills, Alex.”
“Not as good as you, An Tian,” Alex countered and I asked, “I hope she is fine. I heard he was into an accident.”
“Hmm, she is doing good,” An Tian assured.
“I will take a leave then,” Alex said and looked at Dazed Lu Lijun and patted his hand, “Take care of her.”
“I will,” Lu Lijun replied and Alex left as one woman was waiting for him. They smiled at each other and even hugged gently before sitting in the car.
An Tian and Lu Lijun found the woman familiar. “Isn’t that the Wu family’s daughter Wu Suyin?”
Lu Lijun nodded.
“Seems like Alex has found his suitable one,” An Tian commented and they both left the cafe.
As they reached the car, An Tian asked, “What are you thinking about, Lu Lijun?”
After a short pause, Lu Lijun spoke, “Till a few months back I felt like I had lost everything but why suddenly feels like everything is going to fall in the right place. When I lose all hopes, things are coming to me on their own to make me feel hopeful again?”
“Isn’t it good then?” An Tian asked. “When you learn to give up, that’s the moment you deserve it the most.”
Lu Lijun didn’t know what to say and heard An Tian, “Don’t think much. I believe everything will be fine from now on.”
Lu Lijun sat in his car and left while An Tian looked at it till it disappeared from his sight. “Sometimes making a person go through the same painful memories can make them realize the value of the present. It is what happened with her and you have to make use of it, Lu Lijun.”
An Tian sat in his car and mumbled, “This guy has finally grown up. He has learned to step back instead of forcing his way out. Not bad,” his lips had a satisfactory smile as he left in his car.

Meanwhile back at home. After Lu Lijun left, through Martha, Noah got to know that Jiang Yuyan was awake. Lu Lijun had told him to fix the gaming device in his own room into his room. Noah did so. He got the device from his room and went to Lu Lijun’s room as he knocked on the door.
“Come in,” he heard Jiang Yuyan’s voice.
Noah entered the room and saw Jiang Yuyan standing at the entrance of the gallery and touching that scarf hanging from the dreamcatcher.
“President Lu, Lijun asked me to fix it here,” he said.
Jiang Yuyan nodded and stepped into the gallery, leaving Noah to do his work. She stood there enjoying the cold and calm breeze coming from the mountains. He noticed the wooden stand kept on one side of the gallery which was meant for artist to stick their canvas.
She touched it and traced its border. Noah who had done fixing the device to the TV came to inform Jiang Yuyan that it was done and needed to give her a few instructions but saw her standing in front of the stand.
“That belongs to Lu Lijun,” Noah told her.
She looked at Noah and asked, “Does he draw?”
“Once in a while,” Noah answered and added, “He is a good artist.”
“But I don’t see anything around. Where does he keep it?” she asked.
‘He throws it in the trashcan every time,’ Noah thought as she sighed inwardly but could not say it aloud. “Do you wish to see what he draws?” Noah asked.
Jiang Yuyan nodded as she was excited to see it. She always knew Lu Lijun was a good artist and wished to know how he had improved in the past ten years.
“I will be back,” Noah said and left the room.
Jiang Yuyan waited for him to return. In a few minutes, Noah returned from his room, carrying one thick covered horizontal file. He kept it on the centre table in the room and said, “President Lu, it’s here.”
