Young Brother-in-law Is Now My Husband-Chapter 1444: Possessive Lu Feng
Chapter 1444: Possessive Lu Feng
An Tian looked at Noah who was sitting next to Jiang Yang, “Little brother?”
Jake: I lied when I said I liked Evelyn and she is my girlfriend.
Noah smirked but it was a painful one and acted as if whatever Jake said didn’t concern him.
“Noah, it’s your turn,” An Tian spoke.
Noah: I lied when I said I didn’t feel anything for him. Noah looked at Jake, “But it was at that time not now.”
Jake stared at him for a moment and said, “It’s fine. You can keep lying.”
An Tian: I don’t have anyone in life as you guys already know so this doesn’t apply to me.
“And we are not surprised,” Jiang Yang commented to which An Tian smiled slyly.
“Next question- what regret do you have towards your loved one?” An Tian looked at Jiang Yuyan, “This time let’s start with the little girl here.”
She frowned at him, “Little girl? Sweet girl? What’s gotten into you, huh? Are you smitten by someone to take the liberty to remember her by calling me like that?”
“There is only one Yuyan in this world who holds the power to make me feel smitten so there is no chance,” he replied.
Lu Lijun looked at him, “Are you hitting on her?”
“Did you understand it just now?” An Tian asked with a playful smile.
“Lijun, Ignore him,” Jiang Yuyan interrupted their conversation before it turned into an argument and looked at him, “I have regret towards Lu Qiang and Lu Lijun both. I regret not being able to express my love to Lu Qiang as he was always the one to do everything and take care of me. When I thought I had a chance to make him happy by giving him something that no one else can, he was gone and the reason for that happiness was gone as well.”
Lu Lijun caressed her hand. Everyone knew what she was talking about.
She looked at Lu Lijun, “I regret not acknowledging my feelings for him sooner and causing him pain.”
“You don’t have to. It was not easy for you,” Lu Lijun assured.
“Lu Lijun?” An Tian called for his name to answer.
“I regret agreeing to come to England and not staying with Yuyan instead,” he replied.
Lu Feng, who realized it was his turn, answered, “I regret the time when I let her go and didn’t try to stop.”
“Hmm, that was a tough time for you,’ Jiang Yang commented. “I saw the crazy and idiotic Lu Feng.”
“Tough time for him? I think you are mistaken, Jiang Yang,” An Tian spoke, “This guy was in China but didn’t forget to make the poor girl’s life in England tough instead.”
“What are you talking about? Instead, I looked after her even if I was away,” Lu Feng said with a displeased tone.
“Really?” An Tian looked at Jiang Yuyan, “What do you think, Yuyan?”
Jiang Yuyan hesitantly looked at Lu Feng, “An Tian is right.”
“Yuyan, you too?” Lu Feng frowned.
“Let me remind you,” An Tian said, “She left you because you didn’t acknowledge her and when she was living her life, what did you do, huh?” An Tian asked.
“What did I do? All I did was to protect her when she was alone among strangers,” Lu Feng replied, without feeling a tinge of guilt.
“Protect you say?” An Tian scoffed, “Give me a break, please. That was not protecting but satisfying the possessive man inside you. Let me remind you clearly- She could not finish any of her dates because the guys she had dates with never showed up for the dates and eventually she stopped accepting going out with any guy. You made her feel that she was not worth it and that no one showed up on a date.”
“Those boys were losers and not suitable for her,” Lu Feng defended himself.
“Oh Please,” An Tian continued, “Her first prom night and the guy ditched her. Her project partner was changed to some stupid girl because her previous partner was a guy and they got along really well. Do you want me to remind you more of such things? You stole those important days of her life, you monster.”
“Why did she need someone else when I was there? Later I took her on a date and did everything she could have done.”
“You just shut up, you mountain of jealousy and hypocrisy. You old man can not understand young people nowadays. Moreover, to her, you were not a part of her life. You were someone who she left and didn’t matter to her.”
Lu Feng cleared his throat, “What matters now is that she is happy.”
“Yeah, as long as you acknowledge your faults,” An Tian commented.
“An Tian, I can not wait for the day when you will be like how I was. Instead of being with those random girls, you will get the one for you and trust me that day I will be the one laughing at you,” Lu Feng said.
“I am afraid your dream will never come to reality. Falling in love is not my cup of tea. I am not meant for it,” An Tian replied.
“You never know,” Lu Feng commented.
“Don’t forget I am in my late thirties and will turn forty in the coming year. What you are dreaming for, would have happened by now but see I am the same. I simply don’t like to stick with emotions and feelings. I am fine alone as it is,” An Tian explained.
“Oh, then what was that when you said I am your style and you would have wanted to be with me?” Jiang Yuyan asked.
It surprised Lu Lijun, “When did he say it?”
“He is used to talking bullshit,” Jiang Yuyan said and looked back at An Tian, “Answer me.”
“You are worth abandoning my current lifestyle so I would have considered you but there won’t be love. I just can’t stand it,” he replied.
