Young Brother-in-law Is Now My Husband-Chapter 23: Feeling Like To Kill You...
"Brother Yang, didn't you order too much for the two of us?" Jiang Yuyan asked as she surveyed the table full of dishes.
"Nope!" Jiang Yang shook his head and continued, "I know the endless depth of your small tummy. Do you know how much you eat? I always wonder where you store all the food. You never get fat, either." He pointing at her stomach.
"I'm blessed with a fast metabolism," she said, smiling as she started to dig into the tasty food in front of her.
The food was finished within a short period of time as the two were starving and couldn't resist the delicious treats in front of them. The food was too delicious to give them scope to think about anything apart from their growling stomachs. Neither of them uttered a single word as they ate their food. After finishing the meal and paying, the two got out and stood at the exit, waiting for their car to arrive.
In the private room.
Lu Qiang and Ning Gouzhi discussed their recent collaboration. Having finished lunch, they signed the doc.u.ments and walked outside the private room. Reaching the exit, Lu Qiang bid Ning Gouzhi farewell as he got into the car with his assistant and left.
As he waited for his car, he saw the two siblings standing at the other side of the door, conversing.
While the female looked annoyed, the male had a huge grin on his face. The two turned to look at him as he observed them. He just smiled and slid into his car when it arrived.
Jiang Yuyan observed the dress on the mannequin in the shop across the road. She had been doing this since lunch. Jiang Yang, on the other hand, knew of this and was waiting to say something when the waiter had interrupted them with food. He had swallowed his words as he didn't want to bother her right before lunch. Moreover, he was afraid that she would storm out of the restaurant in anger without touching her food. But now, he had the golden opportunity to annoy her.
"Don't look at it. That's not for you," Jiang Yang said, his eyes fixated on the dress.
"Huh?" Jiang Yuyan looked at him with a questioning gaze.
"That dress is meant for girls with C's and D's. Yours are no more than B," he said, his gaze fixed on her chest.
She followed his gaze.
She groaned when she realized what he was looking at. "You—" she began, but she was stunned by his bold words. Of course, she was at a loss for words; this matter was sensitive for any woman.
"My words are true." He watched her reaction with a smile.
"You know what? Even if you are my brother, I feel like killing you with my bare hands. How could you say something like this to your sister?" Her eyes were full of killing intent.
"It doesn't matter if you are my sister or not; I am a doctor and talking about the body of others is natural for me. Do you know the best part?" he asked.
"What?"
He paused for effect as he looked into her eyes, intent on teasing her. "I am too shameless."
She was rendered speechless. Knowing that nothing could affect her blatant brother, she gritted her teeth and contained her anger. If she so wished, she could have bought the dress in question, but she was too tired from today to bother.
As she thought of this, her gaze fell on a familiar figure. They were looking at her, too. Jiang Yang followed her gaze. The other only smiled and slid into his car.
"Wasn't that the guy from the New York airport who you blessed with your angry gaze and curses?" Jiang Yang looked at the car that pulled away from their sight.
"Yeah!" she said, annoyed.
"Don't you think he looks quite familiar?" he asked contemplatively.
"Really? I don't think so," she retorted lightly.
"He seems to be rich. Look at his expensive car."
"Whatever." She brushed him off.
Their car arrived, and Jiang Yang put all the shopping bags in the trunk. He forced Jiang Yuyan to sit in the back and ordered the driver, "Wait for me at the intersection ahead. I will be there in fifteen minutes."
"Where are you going?" she asked, making space for him to sit next to her.
"Personal business. I'll be back soon." He closed the door and signaled the driver to move.
Inside the Maybach.
Lu Qiang was reading some doc.u.ments. Giving a deep sigh, he folded the papers and gazed out of the window. He touched the corner of his lips with his thumb and recollected the moments when his lips brushed against her.
Xiao Min, who was sitting in the front seat, looked at the rearview mirror. Much to his surprise, he saw the smiling Lu Qiang thinking about something. It wasn't a simple smile; he showed off his pearly white teeth for the first time. It was an eye-catching and beautiful sight.
