Young Master Vance Has An Enchanting Wife!-Chapter 379: Please Save Me
May Morgan quickly took a phone from Monica Lambert’s pocket and found Logan Vance’s number to dial it.
When the call connected, May couldn’t help but angrily say, "Logan Vance, you’re shameless! How could you use my good friend like this?"
Logan replied with a sinister laugh, "Why not? Anyway, as long as someone can help me right now, I can use them. Blame it on you for being too close to her and on Vincent for seeking her help."
"That’s enough! How do we get rid of the other Poisonous Insect in her body? I warn you, let her regain her freedom soon, or you’ll regret it!"
"Are you begging me? I don’t accept that tone!" Logan sneered, suddenly threatening May: ’May, don’t you know how to beg? Shall I teach you?’
As he spoke, Monica, who was squatting on the ground, suddenly clutched her stomach and groaned in pain. May glanced at her in surprise, noticing her face was pale, and her lower abdomen was in unbearable pain, which made her face darken.
"Logan, what have you done?" May knew that Monica’s sudden stomach pain was related to Logan; he must be manipulating one of the Poisonous Insects inside her, causing havoc within her body.
"What do you think I’m doing? Can’t tell? Then I’ll make it more obvious!"
As soon as Logan finished speaking, Monica suddenly screamed, clutching her stomach and rolling on the ground, looking terrifying.
May quickly rushed forward to support Monica, distressed by her pain. Her face was as pale as paper, with sweat of a size like beans rolling down, appearing extremely agonized.
"May, save me, save me. I’m in so much pain!" Monica was in extreme agony, clutching May’s hand, pleading bitterly.
Unable to watch any longer, May grabbed the phone and shouted at Logan, "Logan, stop it, stop it right now!"
"You want me to stop? Is this how you ask for a favor?" Logan’s triumphant laughter sent shivers through May’s heart.
"I’m begging you, stop torturing Monica Lambert. She’s innocent." Helplessly, May had to lower her voice and plead with Logan.
"Nobody is innocent. Everyone you know is not innocent. You deserve this. If you don’t want your friends and family to face revenge, behave yourself!"
"I understand. Just tell me, what do you want?" At this point, May had no choice. She couldn’t just watch Monica die from pain, so she had to compromise for now.
"Come see me. I have something to discuss with you!" Logan immediately gave an address, telling May to bring Monica along. Before hanging up, he deliberately threatened her: "May, your friend’s life is in my hands, so I advise you not to play tricks, or you know the consequences."
"I understand. But first, make the Poisonous Insect in Monica’s stomach behave, or I’ll make you regret it!" May gritted her teeth, threatening Logan.
As Logan hung up, the previously miserable Monica lying on the ground in pain suddenly stopped hurting. She looked at her abdomen in surprise and then at May, momentarily bewildered.
The pain just now was like she was being torn apart, unbearable. Yet once it stopped, it was as if nothing had happened, without any sensation.
"Monica, stand up. Come with me to a place." After helping Monica stand, May discussed with her, "Logan is the only one who can remove the Poisonous Insect in your stomach. We’ll go, and I’ll make him help you remove it."
Hearing that she would meet the terrifying Logan, Monica’s face turned white with fear. She struggled desperately, "I don’t want to go. I don’t want to see that man. He’ll kill me."
"He won’t. I’m here. I won’t let him touch you. Come with me!"
May took a deep breath, then took Monica’s phone, sending a message to Victor Grant: "Victor, I’m taking Monica to see Logan Vance now. The address is in Silverwood City’s Western Suburbs. I’ll send you the location later. If you don’t want me dead, come and save me!"
After sending the text, she hailed a taxi and started heading to the place Logan mentioned, with Monica in tow.
After a dozen minutes, they arrived in front of a two-story villa in the Western Suburbs. May looked up at the villa, slightly ominous in appearance, and turned to reassure Monica, "Monica, don’t worry. I’ll protect you."
Monica, anxious, held May’s hand, hesitant to enter: "Just the two of us? We might not be able to handle Logan. I saw last time he had several subordinates."
"True, but there’s also Victor Grant, right?"
May glanced triumphantly at her phone. Victor had received her messages, calling four or five times, but she declined them. Meanwhile, she deliberately shared her location with Victor.
Her goal was simple: she wanted Victor to turn against Logan for her sake. Weren’t they planning to conspire against Vincent? Then she’d gamble with her life, betting whether Victor would stand against Logan for her.
Counting the time, Victor should arrive in about ten minutes. May grabbed Monica’s hand and boldly pressed the doorbell of the villa.
A sturdy bodyguard opened the door. Seeing May and Monica, he wasn’t surprised and turned to lead them inside the villa.
Logan was lounging on the couch in the living room, sipping red wine. When he saw May and Monica enter, he gave a slight smile, his narrow eyes gliding over Monica’s face, making her hide behind May in fright.
May quickly grabbed the trembling Monica, softly comforting her, "Don’t worry, I’m here."
Monica didn’t know about the Dragon Insect inside May, nor did she know about her immense strength. She always thought May was just like her, perhaps a bit bolder.
"May, maybe we should call the police instead. This man is terrifying; we can’t match him."
Monica had been trembling ever since accompanying May inside, never forgetting the horror of being captured by Logan, those slimy insects crawling into her mouth before her eyes.
"It’s okay. The Poison in your body needs him to remove it!"
May clutched Monica’s hand tightly, persuading her for quite some time. Seeing Monica shaking more violently, May turned to glare at Logan, "Logan, remove the Poisonous Insect from Monica’s body."
"You want me to do it, and I’ll do it? Why should I listen to you?" Logan sneered, setting down the glass of red wine, looking at May defiantly, "What benefit do I get? I won’t do anything without a benefit."
