Your Talent is Mine-Chapter 1137: Enhancing His Children’s Power
TL: Etude
“How will the top hundred thousand True Ancestors be selected?” someone asked.
True Ancestor Hebo smiled and replied, “It’s simple. We’ll announce the news across the Profound Void Ancient Realm, allowing any True Ancestor under ten million years old to participate. Then, they’ll enter a world to battle, and the final one hundred thousand survivors will be deemed the strongest True Ancestors. If they can’t handle it and want to stop, they can withdraw. However, the moment they step back, they’ll be disqualified! This method is straightforward but very effective!”
“This approach might lead to the fall of many True Ancestors,” a Pinnacle True Ancestor sighed. “Anyone who achieves True Ancestor status in under ten million years is usually an elite prodigy. Losing too many would be such a waste!”
“Waste?” True Ancestor Hebo scoffed. “Do you know how precious the Core Talent Tree is? And those forbidden wondrous objects! If we were allowed in, all of us would be fighting each other right now. There’s no such thing as waste here! This is a grand opportunity, and anyone afraid of death shouldn’t bother signing up!”
“When does it start?” another person asked.
“A hundred years from now,” True Ancestor Hebo suggested, “to give everyone plenty of time to prepare.”
The other True Ancestors had no objections and agreed.
Afterward, the group of True Ancestors discussed additional suggestions, mostly regarding minor details. Ye Tian remained silent, as he didn’t have much to add.
Before long, the meeting concluded, and the True Ancestors dispersed.
…
Upon returning to the Human Race, Ye Tian summoned his son, Ye Xingchen, and daughter, Ye Xingyue.
“Xingchen, Xingyue,” Ye Tian began, “a Forbidden Treasure Land has emerged, restricted to those under ten million years old. This age limit is based on one’s birth time and is unaffected by time acceleration. Do you wish to enter?”
“I do!” Ye Xingchen replied immediately.
Ye Xingyue nodded in agreement.
They had always wanted to explore a Forbidden Treasure Land, but Ye Tian had consistently forbidden it, knowing the immense dangers—one misstep could mean death, even for Pinnacle True Ancestors. And they were only top-tier True Ancestors.
“This time, it’s indeed dangerous, but the opportunities are immense, which is why I’m telling you,” Ye Tian continued. “First, the danger: the Forbidden Treasure Land is filled with a vast number of forbidden bloodline creatures, some of which rival Pinnacle True Ancestors.
“Moreover, you’ll have to undergo a brutal selection—only one hundred thousand True Ancestors are allowed entry to the Forbidden Treasure Land.”
“Now, for the opportunities,” he went on. “There are many wondrous forbidden objects there, but the most prized treasure is the Core Talent Tree. You should already know of Dao-level core talents. Both your mother and I possess Dao-level core talents, but for you two to gain one would be quite difficult. However, consuming a Core Talent Fruit can produce a Dao-level core talent.
“If you manage to obtain a Dao-level core talent, mastering Dao techniques in the future will be far easier.” Ye Tian explained further.
In truth, he had considered bestowing his own unused Dao-level core talent upon Ye Xingchen and Ye Xingyue. However, he chose to let them face trials instead, intending to grant them a Dao-level core talent later if their progress in the True Ancestor realm stalled.
But now, with the Core Talent Fruit, they could develop a Dao-level core talent on their own.
This was also a valuable trial, and given Ye Xingchen and Ye Xingyue’s existing True Ancestor status, the risks weren’t overwhelmingly high.
After all, very few could cultivate to the level of a top-tier True Ancestor before reaching ten million years old. Nearly all of them were core prodigies of major forces, raised through continuous use of time formations and countless forbidden wondrous objects to achieve such results.
In the previous cosmic environment, even hundreds of billions of years wouldn’t have allowed anyone to cultivate to the top-tier True Ancestor level. Take Ye Tian, for example. Though his talent was astonishing, he spent an immense amount of time just reaching the Destiny Realm because he lacked resources. Compared to today’s environment, his past cultivation speed would seem practically sluggish! With the century remaining, Ye Tian intended to use this time to further improve Ye Xingchen and Ye Xingyue’s abilities.
Suddenly boosting them from top-tier True Ancestral Force to Pinnacle True Ancestral Force wasn’t realistic unless he used certain extreme methods that would exhaust their potential, which would effectively cripple them.
Ye Tian, however, understood that to secure those forbidden treasures and Core Talent Fruits, some powerful forces would likely forcibly enhance the strength of select True Ancestors, ensuring their reincarnation for a second life to cultivate further.
If that happened, some True Ancestors might indeed ascend to the top-tier level or even reach Pinnacle True Ancestor strength, even if they wouldn’t survive long. Such a trade would be well worth it to obtain a few Core Talent Fruits! But Ye Tian couldn’t do that; he couldn’t sacrifice his children’s lives. So he had to use alternative methods to enhance their abilities.
His plan was straightforward.
First, he would set up a time formation that increased time flow by ten thousandfold. This would mean a hundred years would become equivalent to a million years, granting ample cultivation time.
Second, he would use origin force to temper his children’s physical bodies, strengthening them rapidly.
Most wouldn’t dare use this approach, not even Dao Ancestors, as they couldn’t generate origin force naturally. But Ye Tian, as a Supreme True Ancestor with limitless origin force, could employ this method freely.
And only Ye Tian would sacrifice so much to help temper a True Ancestor’s body continually. Any other Supreme True Ancestor would consider it a waste of time, equivalent to giving up on their own cultivation. If not for his children, he wouldn’t do it either.
Third, he would use a small piece of Forbidden Primal Stone to strengthen Ye Xingchen and Ye Xingyue’s powers. Though this would consume a part of the forbidden stone, it would bring a significant boost to their strength.
As for whether they would reach Pinnacle True Ancestor status, Ye Tian couldn’t guarantee it, but there was certainly a chance.
Next, Ye Tian set up the ten-thousandfold time formation, with his wife, Xiao Yue, overseeing it continuously. Without her efforts, maintaining such a high time acceleration would be impossible; this was already the upper limit of rule-bound time acceleration.
Back then, Dao Ancestor Void Sky had activated the ten-thousandfold time acceleration specifically for Ye Tian, though it depleted resources quickly. In the Profound Void Ancient Realm, the usual time acceleration was a thousandfold, while the ten-thousandfold increase demanded not only vast resources but also constant supervision, making it inefficient for regular use.
But now, under these special circumstances, Ye Tian set up the formation with the ten-thousandfold acceleration.
Once the formation was active, Ye Tian instructed Ye Xingchen and Ye Xingyue to cultivate with the Forbidden Primal Stone. He then began channeling his origin force, transforming it into fine threads that seeped into their heads, continuously tempering their bodies.
This body tempering was excruciating, given that it wasn’t powered by their own strength. But to advance swiftly, they had to endure the pain.
Most cultivators wouldn’t have access to such treatment.
Thus, as time passed, Ye Xingchen and Ye Xingyue’s strength steadily grew, gradually nearing the limit of top-tier True Ancestral Force.
Meanwhile, other forces outside also began using the remaining time to cultivate True Ancestors under ten million years old in their ranks.
Of course, with only a hundred years left, conventional means wouldn’t achieve any significant increase in power.
Lacking Forbidden Primal Stones, Forbidden Dao Stones, and unable to spare a wealth of forbidden wondrous objects to enhance these True Ancestors, even those who had such resources were pressed for time.
As a result, most forces opted to…forcefully extract potential from these True Ancestors, madly increasing their power by draining their life force to maintain a few centuries of peak strength.
Once those few centuries passed, they would inevitably die, with their only option being to pay an immense price to send them into reincarnation.
However, the price of reincarnation was vastly different for a True Ancestor compared to a Heavenly Monarch or True Monarch.
Only if they achieved substantial merit would there be hope for reincarnation. Without it, they would truly perish.
In a blink, the hundred years elapsed.
On this day, countless young True Ancestors from all over the Profound Void Ancient Realm gathered at the Vajra True Nation. Most of these young True Ancestors were relatively weak, with many only recently advancing to the rank.
Of course, being prodigies, their combat power wasn’t to be underestimated. They were either between ordinary and elite True Ancestor ranks or had recently broken through to the elite True Ancestor level. But top-tier True Ancestor-level experts remained extremely rare.
As for young True Ancestors with Pinnacle True Ancestor combat strength, none had yet revealed themselves.
Ye Tian and Xiao Yue arrived at the Vajra True Nation with their two children in tow.
