Zombie Apocalypse: I Have Safe Zone Superpower-Chapter 59: Resurrect
Chapter 59: Chapter 59: Resurrect
Ivy’s warning was so strong that none of Angelina’s family members decided to stay behind and left hurriedly.
The rabbit whom they have been bullying all along turned out to be so poisonous.
Not good! They need to find a different daughter-in-law. If such a demoness entered their house, they wouldn’t be able to live a blissful life.
Heck, they might even end up serving her their entire life.
Even the Ravencroft family was traumatised by Ivy’s behavior. They never thought that one day Ivy would so boldly defy them.
They were so resentful that they deliberately didn’t make any food for Ivy. Ivy didn’t even bother about them, instead she was focused on the upgrade her temporal storage had brought.
The first one was that she could sense the presence outside the temporal storage if she was inside.
The second update feature was that the storage had increased. There were some more features, however, Ivy was too hungry to focus on them.
She had stolen some of the kitchen equipment from Patrick’s house, mainly the stove, and decided to eat cooked fish.
After having her dinner, she waited till everyone was asleep before exiting the room and walking toward the living room.
She then took out the ladder hidden under one of the sofas in the secret compartment and placed it in the center.
Climbing on the stairs, she tapped on the ceiling tile and pushed it upward, opening it without any problem.
Sure enough, there was a hidden attic in the apartment Ivy wasn’t aware of. She entered the attic and looked around. frёewebnoѵēl.com
90% of the food supplies of the Ravencroft family were placed there.
Compared to Patrick’s storage room supplies, the Ravencroft family’s supplies could be called shabby; however, Ivy didn’t show any discrimination and stored all the supplies.
Just as she was about to leave, her eyes fell on the cupboard. For some reason, Ivy suddenly had an instinct that she should check it out.
Walking toward the cupboard, she opened the drawer and saw many junk. Some crystal jewelry and funky accessories.
"Hm? Aren’t these the jewelry from my childhood that used to mysteriously disappear?"
Ivy doesn’t even need to use her brain and knows that Isla was behind this.
She ignored it and moved to the second drawer. When she opened the door, she found something that caught her eye.
An insurance under Ivy’s name. In case Ivy dies, the Ravencroft family will receive $4 million. Her heart chilled when she saw the date.
It was from the time when she was still just 10 years old.
The Ravencroft family was truly ruthless... even if Ivy hadn’t died from the apocalypse, she would have died in their hands.
How terrifying.
Taking a deep breath and suppressing the chill in her heart, Ivy was about to move away when a plain sheet of paper caught her eye. It looked old and out of place.
After hesitating, Ivy picked it up and started to read it.
"When she drinks milk, stay away from her."
Eh?
What does that even mean?
Ivy was confused. Torn between confusion and curiosity, Ivy decided to put away the paper and search, but didn’t find anything useful.
At last, she left.
Just as she descended the stairs, Isla’s room door opened, and she came out with an exhausted expression. Seeing Ivy descending from stairs, she was shocked,
"What are you doing?" Isla shouted, then, as if enlightened, she pointed at Ivy, "Did you steal our supplies?"
"You mean the ones that this family had stolen from Silas? Yes." Ivy calmly accepted before walking toward Isla.
"How adaucious! Just you wait! I will tell mom and dad..." Isla couldn’t finish her words. The next moment, Ivy covered her mouth with a rag and dragged her into her room.
Isla struggled hard, but Ivy didn’t stop; instead, she tied Isla’s hands and feet and chuckled,
"Isla, you will now pay for your deeds. As a mercy, I will let you have a good sleep for the last night."
With that, Ivy knocked out Isla.
Out of all the people whom she hated, Isla ranked in the top 10.
This entitled brat, after knowing about Ivy’s adoption, saw Ivy as a slave.
Ivy lay on the bed and muttered,
"Food of the Ravencroft family has gone... they will survive at most 3 days, before realizing that something is amiss. I should now take them down."
It was time for the Ravencrofts to pay for what they had done in their past life and what they might even repeat in this life too.
She closed her eyes as sleep overtook her.
........
A day before.
A cloaked figure entered Patrick’s room and saw the zombie Patrick, who had died. He made a ’tsk-tsk’ sound before walking up to Patrick.
Bending down, he checked Patrick and muttered,
"Dead? You are a lucky old man. You have encountered this miracle doctor. Even if you are dead, you can at least become my puppet, right?"
He snapped his finger, and thread and needles appeared in his hands, and he sewed Patrick’s head and body, before placing his hand on Patrick’s neck.
A white light flowed out from his hand and got absorbed by Patrick’s neck.
The process continued for the next 5 minutes, and just as it seemed that Patrick wouldn’t wake up, his finger twitched.
The cloaked man wiped away the sweat before muttering,
"Just who was behind this old man’s death? It is so difficult to resurrect him. Ah... I am already drained... looks like I will need to invest a lot in this person before he can move.
But the good news is, he can now walk. And I can take a break and cure him in intervals."
With that, he stood up, he waved his hand, and Patrick’s body disappeared from the ground.
Before he left, he gave a last glance in the direction of the room, and his eyes fell on a thin, thread-like pink hair.
