Chapter 286: Who is that Person?

A woman entered from a different door and pulled out the chair at the head of the table,

She was wearing a sleek, well-fitted dark gray business suit consisting of a tailored blazer and matching trousers, paired with a crisp white button-up shirt tucked neatly underneath, creating a clean and professional look, with nerdy glasses.

She was undeniably cute, in a way that made every man in the room appreciate her curvy figure. Just by their hungry gaze alone, Yohan could tell that they each wanted a taste and he wasn’t much different.

But she wasn’t the reason Graham and the other man had gone quiet, a large man entered shortly after. He towered everyone else in the room by several inches, and his body was extremely wide, fat and muscles coming together to form a real monster with a small head sticking out of his black suit.

He wore a mean scowl, and moved with authority. He was a moving mountain of a man.

Nobody moved until he sat at the head of the table,

"Stop fucking around and sit," he ordered.

Graham and the other man immediately ended their argument and went to sit. Gunjoo was seated next to the boss, with Graham by his side, then the other two at the opposite side of the table, with woman standing right beside him.

"Are you two trying to get me pissed off?" The man asked angrily, then he stretched his hand to the woman standing beside him, rubbing her waist before moving all the way to her ass, and even squeezing her cheeks.

No one said a word including the woman, until he finally noticed Yohan standing at the other side of the table,

"Secretary Claire, who is that person?"

"I don’t know sir," she said simply, her voice almost robotic.

"He’s a stray Graham brought in," The slender guy with coloured hair said, he had one leg on the table before but now that the boss was here he was far more composed.

"A stray? Then why is he standing in front of me?" The man asked.

"I found him when I went to get the girl, he was protecting her and turned out to be impressive so I brought him to you," Graham explained.

"You brought him here just because you thought he was impressive?" The guy he was previously arguing with, asked,

"Ivan, I also think it was a good idea to bring him here," Gunjoo cut in.

"But he doesn’t seem like much," the coloured hair guy said with his hand on his jaw. "Or should I put it to the test,"

He was just about to get up.

"No need Alfredo," The boss called out, glancing at Yohan "I trust their judgement..."

All this while, his hand still remained on the girl’s ass, squeezing and squishing like it was some stress relief ball.

"If they say he’ll be useful then I’m sure he is. What is your name?"

"Yohan," he replied.

"Boss, he is the client that was involved in the attack on Roman, Hatoru’s guy,"

"Isn’t that what led to Hatoru finally attacking us?"

"Yes, but that’s only because it was a critical branch in Hatoru’s operations. He basically wiped them out on his own,"

"That sounds very impressive," the Boss said, his interest clearly piqued now, "Does he know anything about the missing money?"

Yohan shared a glance with Gunjoo, he immediately knew he was referring to the money he had taken the time when he attacked Roman.

"No," Gunjoo said firmly, his tone leaving no room for doubt. "I think Hatoru is only using that as an excuse to come after us..."

Yohan was surprised that he didn’t say anything, even if he didn’t know why. He expected Gunjoo to tell his boss the truth, since he had actually warned Yohan on the day he was about to take the money.

Instead Gunjoo hid the truth that he had even helped Yohan launder the millions he had gotten away with.

"That senile old man, I would soon put him out of his misery"

"Boss, there’s one more thing... Yohan is also the client who took out a long term loan just recently," Gunjoo added.

This time the room fell silent, with all eyes fixed on him. Even the boss finally let go of his secretary’s ass and placed his two hands on the table.

There were three rings sitting on his gigantic fingers, along with golden cufflinks and a wrist watch on his wrist.

"Is that some kind of a joke?" his face hardened.

"No, sir..." Gunjoo answered,

"What is a kid going to do with three million dollars?"

"Invest it," Yohan said boldly. "I already have honestly, and you all should be thanking me for even taking your money. The interest on that thing is like two-hundred percent (200%), that’s basically robbery"

All the men present was surprised to see that he was still able to talk like this before the boss. Although he hadn’t said anything insulting, the pressure alone from standing before such an intimidating figure was crippling for the common man, most people found it hard to even speak.

Alfredo, the coloured-haired guy, let out a low chuckle, a hint of admiration creeping into his voice. "So there’s actually more to him than meets the eye..."

"What kind of investment was it?" Ivan asked, as serious as ever.

"I already explained everything to Gunjoo, the city needed money to construct an artificial island to be used as a center to host rich men like yourselves from all over the world," Yohan explained

"I already fact checked everything," Gunjoo assured them, "They have already begun construction"

"Regardless, can he really assure us that the money is going to be safe?" Ivan pressed

"That’s what a contract is for, is it not?" Yohan asked, before noticing his sarcasm wasn’t appreciated.

He sighed, "You can just break my legs if I don’t pay you guys back, I’m very familiar with how you do business,"

His words managed to put everyone at ease, but the boss still stared at him intensely.

"How do you do business with us, and then we just happen to find you with Hatoru’s daughter?" he asked, his eyes narrowing with suspicion. "Did they send you to spy on us?"
