Sophia had already made up her mind to help Alice Turner. She was not going to change this decision, no matter what difficulties she encountered. She was determined to help Alice find happiness.

"Let’s respect the opinions of the two kids. They know what they truly want." That was her opinion, and she hoped the other side could see things from the perspective of the two involved parties as she did.

"What does Alice’s dad think? Does he also agree to Alice divorcing Benjamin?" Isla Lane sensed that Sophia strongly supported Alice and Benjamin’s divorce and was constantly urging Alice to change her mind. She hadn’t expected the situation to be like this before she arrived, and it wasn’t what she hoped to see.

Sophia didn’t directly say she agreed, nor did she say she disagreed. She rephrased it, "Her dad will come to understand."

While she spoke with great certainty, she wasn’t as confident within. Her husband was not one to change his mind easily, especially on matters like this.

"Benjamin’s dad and I still hope to persuade them to reconcile." Isla Lane hoped for Benjamin and Alice to get back together, and she and Alexander Shaw shared this sentiment. Both of them had this intention, and his support was why she was here.

Seeing Isla Lane’s firm attitude, Sophia didn’t want to say anything more. At this moment, saying anything would only have the opposite effect. She decided to wait a few days before addressing it again.

Once everyone calmed down, maybe their thoughts and feelings would be different, and discussing it then might be more effective.

Lily Turner pursed her lips, wanting to say something, but seeing Sophia signaling her with a glance, she held back what she intended to say.

"Lily! You sit with Aunt Isla, I’ll go pour her some water." Previously, Sophia had been so focused on Benjamin and Alice’s issue that she forgot to serve water to the visiting Isla Lane. Aunt Hua had been sent out by her, so now it was just Sophia, Lily, and the newly arrived Isla Lane at home.

Isla Lane stopped Sophia, who was about to get up and pour water for her. As she stopped Sophia, she stood up, "No trouble, I should head out."
