Ranaway From Wedding, Fell into Tycoon's Love Trap
Chapter 1112: Don’t Worry About My Wife’s Business
Thomas Fisher’s words just now did contain a hint of threat. This was something he didn’t shy away from, nor did he want to hide it. If he wanted to hide it, his mom definitely wouldn’t be able to tell.
"I’m not threatening you, I’m just stating a fact." He was indeed threatening his mom next to him, but most importantly, he wanted to make things clear.
"State what fact? Do you think your mom can’t understand what you’re saying?" Autumn York lifted her hand to swat away the hand resting heavily on her shoulder, but it was too firmly placed for her to knock it off.
Thomas Fisher pressed Autumn York’s shoulder hard, leaning to her ear, "Who is my mom? My mom is such a smart person, there’s no way she wouldn’t understand what I’m saying. Besides, what I’m saying isn’t that profound."
Although he leaned in close to his mom’s ear, he didn’t lower his voice on purpose; he was speaking in his normal tone.
Thomas Fisher’s words were not only heard by Autumn York next to him; Cedric Fisher also heard them clearly.
"Your mom definitely understood, so stop with the nonsense and go upstairs to rest." Cedric Fisher, who hadn’t spoken for a while, when he did, urged Thomas Fisher to go upstairs to rest, not only urging verbally but also physically nudging.
He reached out to push his son, urging him to go upstairs quickly to avoid further irritating his wife.
Thomas Fisher glanced back at Cedric Fisher, who was urging him upstairs. As he turned, he saw his dad giving him a look, immediately grasping his father’s meaning.
"Mom! I’m going upstairs. Keep Dad company, and don’t worry about my wife." Thomas Fisher quickly got up and left before Autumn York could lose her temper. 𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎
By the time Autumn York reacted, Thomas Fisher had almost reached the living room door. Infuriated, she pointed at him as he reached the doorway, "You little brat! Stop right there!"
"Don’t worry about it, this little brat! He actually implied that she was meddling unnecessarily.
"Dad told me to go upstairs and rest. Mom! Good night!" Hearing his mom shout, Thomas Fisher paused but didn’t turn to look at her, just waved his hand while his back faced her on the sofa.
Before Autumn York could say anything, Cedric Fisher interjected, "You brat! Stop being cheeky and quickly go upstairs to discuss with that girl about when she can come home so your mom and I can meet her."
He hadn’t discussed this beforehand with the mother and son; this decision had just occurred to him.
Upon hearing this, Thomas Fisher spun quickly around towards the living room, as if not recognizing his own dad, with his eyes wide open, "Dad! Are you saying I can bring my girlfriend home now?"
He was so excited that his voice shook as he spoke.
"Yes, so hurry upstairs to contact your girlfriend now." Cedric Fisher waved at Thomas Fisher, urging him once again to go upstairs.
Autumn York was having none of it this time, raising her hand to smack the arm Cedric Fisher had lifted, "What girlfriend? Did I agree? And you’re letting him bring that woman home; I do not agree."
"You cannot bring that woman home." She pointed firmly at her son standing in the doorway, adamantly opposing his bringing that divorced woman home.
