Early the next morning, before dawn, Thomas Fisher drove away from home to replace Easton Holmes, who was keeping vigil at the hospital. As he arrived at the hospital entrance, he saw Alice Turner getting out of a taxi.

Beep beep beep!

Thomas Fisher honked the horn to signal Alice Turner, then parked the car steadily beside her.

"You already know?" she asked, looking down at him in the car.

"Get in the car first."

Thomas Fisher did not answer Alice Turner’s question but asked her to get into the car from outside.

She didn’t wait for his answer. Since he was already here, he surely knew. Her questions were unnecessary, so she walked over to the front passenger side and got in.

As soon as she sat in the car, Alice Turner turned to ask, "Who told you? Your big brother?"

She could only think of his big brother Easton Holmes; she didn’t consider anyone else.

"My mom told me," Thomas Fisher said truthfully, not hiding the facts.

Hearing this, Alice Turner was taken aback, her eyes wide open, "Your mom told you?! How did your mom know?"

"Yes," Thomas Fisher nodded truthfully.

Confirming her suspicion, Alice Turner became deflated, "Your mom and dad must be very angry now. They must think I’m the kind of woman who doesn’t keep her virtue."
