Thomas Fisher stared at Alice Turner for quite a while, and finally made a decision, which was to let her go back while he would go in alone to switch with Easton Holmes, "You should go back, I’ll take care of Third Brother."

As her boyfriend, he didn’t want his girlfriend to care for another man, even though that man got injured because of her. He just couldn’t stand her taking care of other men.

"You should go back instead. I’ll take responsibility for my own mess." Alice Turner not only refused his suggestion but also insisted he leave.

Hearing this, Thomas Fisher’s face suddenly darkened, "What do you mean by taking responsibility on your own? Do you think your boyfriend is just thin air? Go back and do whatever you need to do, I’ll handle things here with Third Brother."

He authoritatively rejected her refusal. There’s no way he would let her bear all that by herself, and truth be told, he couldn’t bear the thought of it either.

"But..."

"No buts, just do as I say." Thomas Fisher didn’t say anything more to Alice Turner. Letting go of her hand, he turned the car around and left the hospital, headed towards her home.

Alice Turner glanced out the car window and instantly understood Thomas Fisher’s intention, quickly stopping him, "I’ll head back myself, you don’t have to... never mind. Do whatever you want."

His attitude was so firm, she didn’t press her opinion further and went along with what he wanted, anyway he wouldn’t stop the car even if she refused, and she couldn’t just jump out, could she?

"Just remember, now you have a boyfriend, don’t carry everything on your own, and don’t be so independent." Although the time Thomas Fisher and Alice Turner have known and loved each other is not long, he understands her very well already, especially impressed by her independence.

Being with her, he found her independence quite intense, sometimes giving him the feeling of being unnecessary to her.

Not being needed by her wasn’t exactly a pleasant feeling for him.

Although Alice Turner didn’t quite agree with Thomas Fisher, she still nodded to him, "Got it, from now on I’ll listen to you. If you tell me to go east, I won’t go west, Young Master Dalton! Does that satisfy you?"

She started off quite serious, but grew less so towards the end.

"Satisfied, very satisfied." Thomas Fisher tilted his head to glance at the woman beside him, his lips curling up mischievously, looking in quite a good mood.

Alice Turner, however, pouted in dissatisfaction, giving him a sharp look before changing the topic, "Have your driver bring my car over, it’s inconvenient without it."

She was used to driving herself every day, and suddenly not having a car felt like losing her legs all at once.

"Got it, I’ll have him bring it over by morning," Thomas Fisher didn’t object, readily agreeing.

"Just have him deliver it to the company downstairs, and ask him to call me then."

"Got it."

As they chatted, they unknowingly arrived at the entrance to the Turner Family complex.

Alice Turner tilted her head to look out the car window and called for Thomas Fisher to stop, "This is enough, drop me off here, no need to go in."

That would be both troublesome and a waste of time, she didn’t want to trouble him.

"It’s just one more step on the gas."

Thomas Fisher didn’t stop as Alice Turner suggested but drove straight into the complex, pressing the gas pedal, quickly bringing her to her door.
