"Children? Does the God of Creation even have children?"

It was one thing if the God of Creation called humanity their children since they were just things that they created with divine energy. It wasn’t as if the God of Creation put any specific effort into creating humanity.

The way that the God of Creation had said this had a completely different meaning.

It was clear by the way that the God of Creation said this that there were special feelings towards the ones that they called their children.

These were some kind of special creations that the God of Creation made.

Or it was possible that they were biological children of the God of Creation.

Though thinking about how the biology of a god might work started to make my head hurt.

Before I went too far though, I suddenly remembered something that Solista said before.

"Right, Solista said that they were also ones that were created by the God of Creation. So they should be the children that the God of Creation is referring to."

There was a trace of disappointment that filled my heart when this thought ran through my head. After all, there was a part of me that had thought that I had picked up on some kind of weakness for the God of Creation.

But then again, it seemed very unlikely that this would be the case.

Even if the God of Creation felt that way about the gods, they were still gods.

It wasn’t as if a mortal like me would ever be able to do anything to the gods even if I had divine energy. It would be like trying to throw an egg at a brick wall, I would break as soon as I made contact with said wall.

Still, it was interesting to see how a god was created.

I had seen a god ascending when I was in the trial, so I had an idea of how gods were created.

It was just that I had no idea how a natural god would be created since the world that the trial was in didn’t allow for that.

When I had been in charge of that world, I had been able to find that there was something about that world that prevented it. It was as if there was some kind of lock on the basic elements of that world that stopped gods from forming.

It didn’t take us long to arrive at the lab that the children were in.

It was a lab because...

"They’re in tubes as well?"

I was shocked when I saw the familiar figures in these tubes.

These were definitely the gods that I had met previously.

It was just that seeing them in the tubes like this was a surreal feeling.

After all, they were in the same tubes that I had seen humans being put in. It was as if they were the experiments just like how humans had been treated.

At the same time, the fact that gods were actually test tube babies gave me a feeling that was just impossible to describe.

Once I came back from my shock, I moved closer towards the tubes that were there and looked carefully at each of the gods inside. From my position, I could actually feel the divine energy that was coming from the test tubes.

Though from the flow of it, I could tell that it wasn’t as if they were being crammed full of divine energy. It was divine energy that was naturally coming from the gods and it seemed like the tubes weren’t enough to keep it in check.

Or it was better to say that there was nothing that the tube could do about it.

It seemed like whatever material the tube was made of wasn’t strong enough to keep the divine energy from leaking out, which was why I was able to sense the divine energy coming from the tubes.

But then again, it wasn’t as if there was much that could stop the divine energy in the first place.

To begin with, divine energy was a very pure form of energy and it was not something that just anything could stop. Unless it was cancelled out or destroyed completely, it wasn’t as if anything could contain it.

Though if there was anyone that could do it, it would certainly be the God of Creation with all their access to everything in this world.

So the fact that the God of Creation didn’t use a material that could stop this meant that they didn’t want to suppress it.

Other than that, it seemed like there was pure natural energy that was flowing into these gods. However, it wasn’t as if that was surprising since it was clear what that natural energy was for.

In the first place, the gods were elemental gods.

It was only natural that they would have pure natural energy flowing into them.

The tubes themselves seemed like they were there for the gods to cultivate this pure natural energy and convert it into divine energy.

This was certainly a way to nurture gods, but it felt a bit unnatural with how much technology was being used.

"No, this shouldn’t even come close to being the natural way that a god is created. It seems like there’s something else at play here..."

Even if I wanted to argue that this was the way that gods were created, I knew that this wasn’t possible. Even with the little bit of knowledge that I had, I knew that this was something that was completely off.

It wasn’t as if I knew exactly what it was, I just couldn’t accept that this was the right method.

At the same time, I couldn’t see the expression on the God of Creation’s face, but I could tell that it wasn’t what one might think.

Instead of looking at them like they were precious children, it was as if they were looking at the gods like they were experiments.

But the way that the God of Creation spoke earlier...there was no mistaking the tone in their voice.
