Sinner System
Chapter 663: We’re Done Here
Point-of-View: Kavi Intrix

I let out a sigh as I unleashed a scorching burst of flames and blasted a Spirit away, destroying it and sending it back to its master’s soul, or consciousness, or wherever it is that Spirits reside within their masters.
"Die, Demon scum!" Exclaimed one of the remaining Knights, firing out a bolt of lightning at me.
I shuffled across to evade it, before I shot forward towards the Knight. Lightning erupted around the blade of his spear, which he thrust towards me as I closed in on him.
I leapt up and over the blade of the spear, snapping my jaws open and firing out a pressurized blast of flames. The blast struck the top of his head and crushed his skull upon impact, charring his brain and killing him instantly.
As he collapsed with a thud, I glanced back as the last remaining Knight came rushing in toward me from behind, charging up a swirling mass of wind. I rapidly spun around and unleashed a rapid, roaring fireball at him.
As my flames crashed onto the charged up wind in his hands, a sharp cry rang out as the flames erupted devastatingly, enhanced by the wind. He shakily stumbled back with a gasp, covered in deep, severe burns.
I shot forward at top speed, driving my claws towards him as I closed in. I plunged my claws through the middle of his forehead, bursting through his skull and piercing into his brain.
His body briefly seized up in agony, before going limp. He collapsed onto his knees as his eyes rolled back in his head, blood pouring out of the opening in his forehead and pooling around his head as he hit the floor.
I let out a slow exhale to ease up the adrenaline, relaxing my body. Alright, that takes care of the weaker Knights. Oh, and it looks like Kai is done with the Commander of the Knights too, he’s very dead.
He looks like he’s let his guard down now, but I can tell that he’s still alert, it seems almost unconscious. Is his awareness and perception really that high? Based on the feeling I’m getting, I doubt there’s anyone in this world who would ever be able sneak up on him.
Now, then, what about Zelmira? How are things going on her end?

"[Spirit Fusion, Frost Lizard: Friz]," I chanted, approaching my father and the others.
Icy light blue scales formed all over my body, my jaws extending forward as my teeth and nails extended into fangs and claws. A tail extended out of my lower back as rows of spikes formed down my back and across the back of my forearms.
"Th-That’s enough, Zelmira! Stop this foolishness immediately, and I shall overlook this treason!" Yelled father, pushing past the others and making his way to the back.
"Do you not understand the situation you’re in, father? It’s over, your terrible rule has all but ended. Now, since none of you are capable of fighting, I’ll put you out of your misery quickly," I remarked coldly, several narrow, piercing ice spikes forming all around me.
"N-No, don’t do this, Princess!"
"P-Please, spare me, I-I’ll do anything!"
"Sorry, but I won’t be sparing any of you. Now, die."
The Royals and Nobles began to scramble out of the way in terror, but they were too slow to react. My ice spikes skewered each of them, wounding them fatally, all of them except my father, who was unscathed.
I began approaching him as he fell over in fear and collapsed onto the floor, scrambling back before freezing in despair as his back thudded against the wall behind him.
I fired out another volley of ice spikes, finishing off the others who were still alive, before coming to a stop in front of my father. An intense swell of conflicting emotions were churning inside me, my chest pounding.
Anger, hatred, sorrow, remorse...at one point, I did love him, I truly did consider him my father. But...that was before I really comprehended what kind of a person he was.
There’s no redeeming him. No matter what I say or do, he’ll never change, at least not for the better. Even now, facing the consequences of his actions, I don’t see so much as a hint of regret in his eyes.
There’s fear, there’s despair, there’s hatred and rage...but no regret. This is who he is, he doesn’t care about anyone but himself. And that’s exactly why he needs to die. So many have suffered because of him, so much needless, avoidable suffering.
"Y-You ungrateful little bitch, h-how could you do this?! I should’ve had you killed when I had the chance! You...you would really kill your own father? What the hell do you have to say for yourself?!" He snapped, visibly frantic and panicking.
"I have absolutely nothing to say to you, father. Except this...I want you to die knowing that the entire continent of Nilren will be a much, much better place with you gone," I uttered, created a jagged blade of ice.
"You damned-...agh!" He gasped, as I plunged the blade into his heart, branching it out into spikes.
Mist flowed out of his mouth as he coughed out blood, an agonized wheeze escaping his lips as I drove the blade in deeper, his body seizing up sharply as I gave the blade a violent twist.
I took my hand off the blade and knelt down in front of him, briefly meeting his gaze as I formed a dagger of ice, before using it to slit his throat. Choked gasps rang out as blood gushed out of his neck, streaming down his chest.
I let out a strained, ragged exhale as I got back onto my feet and deactivated my Spirit Fusion, glancing back and turning around as Kai and the Demon Lord approached me.
"We’re done here. Let’s leave," I remarked quietly, linking up with them as Kai took out the Ritual Scroll to teleport us back out.
