The Tier-9 Black Centipede emerges from the depths of the unexplored region. This time, the Tier-9 Beast was not alone.

There is a man wearing a black mask and black armour standing next to the Tier-9 Black Centipede.

If the Five Human Lords were to be there, they would be shocked to the core. They wouldn't have imagined a Beast Tamer was behind all of the attacks.

The black-masked man is no ordinary person. He has a dual identity. For the outside world, he is a Tier-8 Beast Tamer.

But actually, he is a Tier-9 Beast Tamer. He works for the founder of the Mighty Order, so nobody knows about his strength.

He never went to the human alliance. He had always been working in the darkness outside for the Head of the Mighty Order Organisation.

His talent allowed him to contract with two lifeline beasts, and one of them was a corrupted beast.

He had never used his second beast in front of others. Not many people knew he could use two Lifeline beasts except the Head and a few elders in the Mighty Order.

He has a name. Everyone calls him Samuel, both in the organisation and outside.

He then turned towards the Black Centipede.

"I didn't expect you to kill two Tier-8 Beast Tamers. One of them being the Governor. The Head will be happy," Samuel said to the beast.

The Black Centipede made a sound. It liked being praised.

Samuel got the mission from the Head to attack Human Zone cities. The aim was not to destroy the city and kill the people.

The real targets of the mission were the Lords from the Human Alliance. Currently, the number of Lords in the Human Alliance is a considerable number.

They were against the Mighty Order. If not for the strength of the Head, the others would have acted long ago. 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶

So, the Head had ordered him to cause trouble for the Human Zone Cities so the Lords from the Human Alliance won't have time to pay attention to other matters.

Fortunately, he didn't fail in the mission. His lifeline beast was able to kill two Tier-8 Beast Tamers. There are five lords here, and they were preoccupied.

He can now go back to target other cities, but he gave a task to the Tier-9 Black Centipede to lay low.

If they showed signs of leaving, the Tier-9 Black Centipede could target the beasts again.

The next second, Samuel left the place. The Tier-9 Beast looked towards the wilderness and the city beyond the wilderness.

The Tier-9 Black Centipede felt the aura of the lords, but it was faint. It couldn't tell whether they had left or not.

It decided not to go there. It will gather another wave of the corrupted beasts to enter the wilderness.

Then it will know how many of the lords are here.

The Tier-9 Black Centipede has human-level intellect. It then goes back into hiding.

It didn't take long for the Black Centipede to start doing the work.

Time passed.

When the night time came, the beast started drawing the corrupted beasts towards it. From the lower tiers to the higher tiers, they are slowly gathering in numbers.

If this goes on, in a couple of days, the city might face another attack. But the city administration was unaware of it.

The Tier-9 Black Centipede is following orders. It's in for the long game.

The next morning, Jeremy wakes up early. After getting out of bed, he started doing his routine as usual.

He spends an hour doing that. After finishing that, he went to freshen up before resuming his daily breathing method practice.

He picked up his device and began to search for the latest news. Then, he sees the videos and articles on the news feed.

He clicked the video and began to watch it. The news anchor was talking about normalcy. So far, no disturbances occurred in the wilderness.

They were waiting for orders from the Governors. If the situation was okay, the Beast Tamers wanted to enter the wilderness.

But there was no response from the governors yet. Jeremy then stopped watching the video. He can tell that there is some uncertainty.

It was not decisive like the last time. Jeremy furrowed his eyebrows. He doesn't like the news at all.

He wanted a clear answer. It can only be provided by the Governors. Already, one of them was dead. He thinks once the Tier-9 beast is dealt with, they might release the news.

Until then, the battle was not over. Jeremy sighed. He then put away the device before going to the practice room.

He entered the practice room and shut the door. Next, he turned on the switch. The natural energy started filling the room.

He came to the middle and sat cross-legged on the ground. Then, he closed his eyes and started running the breathing method.

The natural energy entered his body. As the energy flowed through the body, the cells reacted, but there was no huge craving.

He got his breakthrough yesterday, so it was understandable. The unknown beast egg didn't show any reaction.

It was something expected. The beast would absorb it when it's needed. Then, he continued with the practice.

Two hours later,

He was outside practicing his blade moves.

Governor Office

The old lady with healing power stayed awake the whole night. She had expected something mischievous from the Tier-9 Beast.

But none of it had happened. The old lady was happy. Now, she has to wait for the others to return.

They need to put an end to the Tier-9 Beast responsible for it. Then only can the city be saved.

After the second attack, it can be said that the Tier-9 Beast is not going to leave just like that. It might attack again.

On the other hand, Governor Martin and Orion are working hard. They were constantly receiving supplies from other human zones.

They are equally distributed to the respective forces. At the same time, they were nervous about when the Lords from the Human Alliance would come.

They both know the Tier-9 Beast is still hiding in the unexplored region. They can be at ease only when the lords come back.
