Ten Lucky Draws: I Became OP
Chapter 521: The Reality Devourer (2)
HUMMMM!!!
The skies of Reality Three began to shine with an unnatural, blinding white light.
It started as a faint glow on the horizon — soft at first, like the first light of dawn breaking over the spires of the Gambler’s palace.
But it grew rapidly, spreading across the entire sky like molten silver poured over glass.
The light was so intense that it washed out colors, turning the once-vibrant twilight hues into stark, overexposed white.
The clouds dissolved into nothing.... and the three suns that normally hung in the sky dimmed and vanished, swallowed by the overwhelming radiance.
Inside the grand golden palace, the remaining Ancestors who had not yet fled froze mid-conversation.
Their faces drained of color as they rushed to the massive windows overlooking the domain.
One of them, a burly elder with a long gray beard, pressed his hand against the glass, voice trembling.
"What... what is that light? It’s swallowing everything!"
Another, a sharp-eyed woman in flowing robes, backed away from the window, her hands shaking.
"It’s her. It has to be. The Reality Devourer... she’s here."
Panic rippled through the room like wildfire.
Some Ancestors clutched at their chests, feeling the oppressive weight of the light pressing down on their souls.
Others whispered frantic prayers or activated emergency talismans that fizzled uselessly in the air.
But not all were ready to run.
A tall, battle-hardened Ancestor with scars across his face slammed his fist on the table, his voice booming with defiance.
"We are Gamblers! Since when do we run from a challenge? This is our home — our domain! If she wants to take it, let her come! We’ll bet everything on one final hand!"
A few others nodded, their pride overriding their fear.
In that moment, they began summoning weapons and channeling mana, preparing to make a stand.
The Gambler, however, paled visibly.
His usual calculating smile was gone, replaced by raw dread.
He knew better than anyone what was coming. It had nothing to do with what Nia had shown on the projection, and everything to do with what he’d seen for himself.
By now, it should’ve been clear—only The Gambler had received an invitation from Reality Three.
So, while the others had heard stories about what happened, they couldn’t say for sure if any of it was true, especially since some of it sounded far too ridiculous.
"You idiots..." he whispered, voice hoarse. "You have no idea what’s just knocked on our doors..."
Before anyone could respond, the sky shattered.
CRRRRRRRRRACK!!!!
The blinding white light exploded outward like fractured glass.
Huge shards of the sky rained down — not physical glass, but fragments of reality itself, dissolving into motes of light as they fell.
Through the massive tears in the heavens, rifts tore open.
From them poured Nia’s Battalion — Ash’s Eternal Guard.
Millions of elite female warriors descended like a divine storm.
Each one was at the 19th Dimensional level, their auras blazing with unified, overwhelming power.
They wore dark crimson and black armor that gleamed with lethal elegance, weapons drawn — swords, spears, axes, and staves crackling with raw divinity.
Nia herself appeared last.
She walked slowly through the largest rift, descending from the shattered sky in her usual baggy black attire.
Her long black hair streamed behind her like a banner of night, and in her hands, she gripped her slender katana—Ashy.
When she appeared, any speeches.... was unnecessary.
She gave a single command, her voice carrying through the entire reality, cold and unwavering.
"DEVOUR!"
And.... the Eternal Guard moved as one.
BOOOOOM!!!!!!
They descended upon Reality Three like a plague of divine locusts.
Domains lit up with explosions as entire districts were erased in moments.
The golden palace of the Gambler shook violently as waves of attackers breached its defenses.
The remaining Ancestors who had chosen to fight lasted mere seconds.
One tried to summon a grand defensive formation — only for a squad of Guard members to tear through it like paper, their blades slicing through conceptual barriers as if they didn’t exist.
Another attempted a suicidal charge, layering 865 Layers into a final strike — only to be swarmed and torn apart by multiple 19th Dimensional warriors who moved faster than he could perceive.
Watching it all unfold so quickly and smoothly, The Gambler took a deep breath, his face pale yet determined.
In a flicker of shadow, he vanished, only to reappear before Nia, kneeling in midair with his head bowed.
---
"I am the Gambler, a Former Ancestor of this Reality." He said hoping he could at least save what was quickly being destroyed.
Seeing him appear, Nia didn’t speak she only tilted her head.
’Hmm, seems like Ashy as been busy.’ She thought as she could clearly feel his divinity.
"Not long ago, I had the chance to meet the Ineffable Pantheon.... Now, I’m the Constellation of Eternal Chance."
Nia gazed down at him, her abyssal eyes filled with boredom.
"Get to the point, old man, and stop stating the obvious," she said, rolling her eyes.
The Gambler exhaled slowly, steadying his voice. "I’m willing to become a slave to the Ineffable Pantheon... but only if you can spare my Reality."
At that, she smiled—slow, sharp, predatory.
"You’ve met the Pantheon, right?" she asked, tilting her head. "If so, you should know it’s only death... or death if you stand in my way. So, either die... or join my cause."
Her grin widened. "Because in the end... there will be no Realities left... NONE."
The Gambler’s face went still for a moment.
She didn’t need to explain—he knew exactly what she meant.
The full weight of her request sank in. He would have to turn on his own kind; the very Ancestors he’d once shared the gambling tables with.
But the alternative was obvious death.
He let out a heavy sigh before vanishing once more.
----
Moments later, he materialized among the last of the Ancestors still willing to fight, thrusting his hand forward without a second thought.
CRACK!
The head of the battle-hardened Ancestor who had urged them to fight flew off his shoulders, rolling across the golden floor with a wet thud.
Blood sprayed in a wide arc as the body collapsed.
"Ga... GAMBLER WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦
The other Ancestors stared in horror.
The Gambler’s voice was low and heavy with resignation.
"It’s over. Run... or die."
And with that... the destruction of Reality Three continued.
Nia watched from above, clutching "Ashy" closer to her chest as her Eternal Guard carried out her will.
"Ashy, my next gift to you will be amazing~"
