Ten Lucky Draws: I Became OP
Chapter 522: The Reality Devourer (3)
Nia smiled as she watched Reality cling to its final threads.
"Ah, I guess it’s time for me to begin," she muttered in a low almost playful tone before vanishing.
For as long as anyone could remember, Nia had always stood apart from the other wives in many ways.
Though each of them was overpowered in her own right, Nia possessed access to as many powers as Ash.
But that wasn’t all—long ago, when she had first become the Obsidian Devourer, everything had changed.
She had undergone a change, it was one no other woman of Ash’s experienced, and it was solely because of her power of Devouring.
Back then, after the ordeal with Vesper, she was sent to the Infernal Crucible, where the Ash’s Eternal Guard was also founded.
Yet, during her journey of devouring Celestial bodies, her core had already transformed into a Budding World.
It was a world she had never really noticed or done anything with.
’Honestly, with all the powers Ashy throws at us... it’s easy to forget things,’ she thought as she reappeared at the center of Reality.
The thing was that this budding world had come into her possession when she was only 29 years old.
Every evolution she had gone through since then—every shift in power and everything else—had caused the world within her to change again and again.
It wasn’t until she stepped away from the Ineffable Pantheon and began thinking of ways to help Ash that she finally remembered it.
As she stood here, the sky was still fracturing, massive shards of reality raining down as her Eternal Guard continued their relentless assault.
The Cities burned in the distance, domains crumbled, and the golden rivers of mana that once flowed throughout the Reality had dried up into cracked, barren beds.
Nia floated there, her long black hair drifting in the chaotic winds, the black sun symbol on her forehead glowing faintly.
Then with a simple thought she activated her Codex Power.
HUMMMM!!!
|Absolute Devouring (Tier 7)|
The black sun on her forehead flared to life.
Then a single, concentrated beam of pure black divinity shot outward from it — not a wide destructive wave, but a focused, voracious ray that pierced straight into the heart of the Reality itself.
The moment the beam made contact, the entire plane began to scream. 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦
AHHHGGGHHHHHHRGGGG!!!!
It was not a sound made by any throat. It was the wail of the Reality itself being consumed.
RUMBLEEEEEE!!!!!
CRACKKKK!!!!!!
The golden palace at the heart of this reality began to crack and collapse beneath her, its walls folding like paper as the beam consumed the very foundation of its existence.
Entire domains vanished in seconds — buildings, streets, and gamblers.... all were simply erased, pulled into the black light like water down a drain.
And across Reality Three as the panic reached a fever pitch.
The Gambler stood in the middle of the chaos, his new Constellation form glowing with greenish gold Divinity as he continued to fight.
He had already killed dozens of his former allies, his cards flashing out with lethal precision as they cut through those who still tried to resist.
He looked up at the black beam tearing through the sky, his face pale but resolute.
"Are they all so.... destructive?" he whispered, a mix of awe and dread in his voice.
He shuffled a deck of cards before dealing them out.
SHK! SHK! SHK!
They cut through another group of desperate gamblers who still thought resisting was worth a shot.
"I made my choice," he muttered, more to himself than anyone else. "There’s no turning back now."
And as those words left his lips, Nia’s beam widened, spreading like ink through water.
HUMMMMMM!!!!
The black light devoured everything it touched—not only matter, but ideas themselves.
The notion of "wealth," the very foundation of Reality, began to come apart.
Even the concept of "chance," something they all depended on in some way, started to waver and fade until, at last, it vanished completely.
As the beam gave one final surge.
Reality Three was pulled into Nia in a single, cataclysmic pull.
The golden palace, the remaining domains, the last pockets of resistance — all of it vanished into the black light, leaving nothing but empty void and scattered motes of divinity floating in the darkness.
---
Nia hovered in the newly created emptiness, the black sun on her forehead dimming slightly as she absorbed the final remnants of Reality Three.
Around her, the Eternal Guard — remained in perfect formation, their dark crimson and black armor gleaming with blood even in the void.
They had carried out their orders with ruthless efficiency, and now they floated silently, awaiting her next command.
And... the Gambler stood a short distance away as well.
His face was pale, but his expression was resolute. He had made his choice, and there was no turning back.
Nia let out a soft, satisfied sigh, her long black hair drifting lazily in the emptiness around them.
"And another one bites the dust," she said, glancing toward the Gambler, dark eyes glinting with faint approval.
"I guess you’ve earned your rites," she added simply.
The Gambler offered a small, respectful bow, though the weight of what he’d done — slaughtering his own kind to prove his loyalty — still lingered in his gaze.
"Now, the choice is yours," Nia said, waving her hand to summon two rifts before them.
"You can enter Pantheos. Now that you’re a Constellation, nothing in this Existence concerns you," she continued without looking back.
Though his actions seemed to serve her cause, the truth was he had acted solely to save himself — as any ordinary person might.
With no strong familial ties, he didn’t really mind his actions too much.
But his decision didn’t make him Ineffable.
"You could start your life anew and enjoy the wonders of Pantheos," she said, pivoting to stand before the rift on the right.
Then, with a straight face, she added, "Or you can join me in devouring the rest of existence."
Tilting her head with a slight frown, she warned, "I hate men, and every woman here belongs to one man. So don’t die thinking with your lower brain."
