Munni nodded and thoughtfully closed the door to the study.

She walked back to the living room, sat on the sofa, picked up the remote control, and turned on the TV. A drama was playing on television. Munni put down the remote control, picked up the corkscrew, and popped the cork from the wine bottle, pouring the wine into a goblet.

Then she leaned back on the sofa and watched TV aimlessly while holding her wine glass.

After waiting for nearly forty minutes, the takeout ordered by Zhang Chufeng finally arrived—spicy crayfish, duck neck, duck rack, duck tongue, chicken wings, and an ice cream, nothing missing.

Receiving the takeout, Munni thanked the delivery guy, closed the door, and excitedly walked into the living room to take the food out of the bags one by one and lay them out on the coffee table.

When Zhang Chufeng finished his work and walked out of the study into the living room, Munni was sitting cross-legged on the floor in front of the coffee table, munching on duck necks while watching TV with great delight.

"Tsk tsk, you’re lucky Yisen doesn’t mind you and even married you home."

After finishing a duck neck, with her mouth full of spice, Munni quickly scooped a spoonful of ice cream into her mouth to ease the heat.

Then she answered, "Well, sometimes I think he’s really blind."

"Ssss."

Zhang Chufeng sat down beside her, also cross-legged on the floor, and took a pair of disposable gloves from the takeout bag to put them on.

He picked up a spicy crayfish, was peeling it, when he heard Munni beside him say, "Do you think I control Yisen too strictly?"

"Huh?"

"I know everyone says he’s under his wife’s strict control, but I don’t feel like I’m controlling him much."

"As long as you two enjoy your lives together, don’t worry about what others say."

"Take today for example, Yisen just got discharged yesterday and went to work today. I initially wanted us to head home together after work, but he said he had a meeting in the afternoon.

In my mind, I instinctively thought, you just got discharged and are working so hard, this can’t be right, just come back with me.

But considering his firm stance, if I were to force him to come home with me, it would appear too controlling and cause him to resent me."

Munni’s brow was lightly furrowed, pondering over the trivial matters in life, such as the scene she had just witnessed in Yisen’s office.

She had to suppress her discontent and display her understanding of Yisen.

Zhang Chufeng put the peeled crayfish into his mouth, finding the spicy crayfish somewhat hard to handle. He quickly picked up a bottle of mineral water from the table, unscrewed the cap, and took a gulp.

After the spicy sensation subsided, he said, "Your intentions are good. For the sake of his health, you can try to communicate better with him. Communication is paramount for a couple; lacking it, no matter how close the relationship is, it will be hard to sustain."

Munni nodded in agreement, believing there’s no need to be bothered by such trivial matters, and switched topics to chat with Zhang Chufeng about other things.

Munni’s stomach wasn’t very strong. After consuming a bunch of spicy foods along with wine and ice cream, she finally couldn’t hold it and went to the bathroom to throw up.

Zhang Chufeng followed her to the bathroom, patted her back, and helplessly said, "I must say, you and Yisen are quite a match. Both knowing your stomach isn’t good, yet recklessly eating like this."

After Munni had vomited everything she ate, she reached out and flushed the toilet, then, with Zhang Chufeng’s help, stood up.
