"Got it. Don’t worry about this matter anymore. She’s already in the company. Whether she becomes popular or not is up to her fate."

Shao Chuyan knew this wasn’t something worth her worrying about, so after complaining to Munni for a couple of minutes, she changed the subject, "Ah, by the way, when are you and Yisen planning to hold the wedding?"

"Wedding? The date isn’t set yet; probably in the spring."

"Here’s a suggestion: you two should have the wedding sooner rather than later. Lately, Lu Xin and I are getting bigger every day, and if you delay too long, we won’t fit into any pretty dresses."

Her suggestion made Munni laugh, "I got it, got it. I’ll talk to Yisen about it when he comes back."

Munni and Shao Chuyan chatted on the phone for a good while before hanging up. After ending the call, Munni took off her sunglasses, stood up, stretched lazily, and, feeling bored, went into the kitchen to bake some desserts.

Xu Yisen, after a follow-up at the hospital, conveniently took a pre-pregnancy checkup. Just like Munni, all his indicators were normal.

After leaving the hospital, he had Tang Haoliang drive him home and cancelled the meeting he had originally scheduled with the executives for today.

"Secretary Tang, cancel all the non-essential things in my schedule for the next few days. Have Vice Director Liu handle the documents that don’t require my personal review, and just update me later."

Tang Haoliang nodded, glancing at Xu Yisen through the rearview mirror. A faint smile was playing on his thin lips; he seemed to be in a good mood.

"Chairman, did Madam get angry at you for coming home so late last night?"

"Is this something you should be gossiping about?"

Although he said this, there was no dissatisfaction in Xu Yisen’s tone towards Tang Haoliang prying into his personal affairs.

After a few seconds, he added, "Well, she wasn’t angry. She actually went to Zhang Chufeng’s house and ate recklessly yesterday, which upset her stomach. I still feel guilty about it."

"Oh? Is Madam feeling better now?"

"Yes, she’s better. Oh, let’s go to the mall; I need to buy a gift to apologize to her."

Upon receiving Xu Yisen’s instructions, at the next traffic light, Tang Haoliang turned the car around and headed to Fansi Mall.

Upon arriving at the mall, Xu Yisen made his way directly to Van Cleef & Arpels, one of Munni’s favorite jewelry brands.

The manager clearly hadn’t expected Xu Yisen to show up, so when she saw him in the store, she walked up with a respectful bow, "Chairman, hello. I’m Lin Yuyou, the manager of Van Cleef & Arpels at Fansi Mall. How may I assist you today?"

Xu Yisen nodded slightly, turning towards the display case.

"I’d like to prepare a gift for my wife. Do you have any good recommendations?"

Xu Yisen glanced at the luxurious jewelry in the display case, momentarily unsure of what to choose.

"Yes, we just received some new designs for this spring. Let me show them to you."

"Okay."

Xu Yisen sat on the high stool in front of the display case while Tang Haoliang stood by his side, waiting for the manager to bring out the new jewelry for him to view.

Not long after, two staff members, wearing gloves, each carefully brought over a set of exquisite jewelry to the display case.

"Chairman, we have two new jewelry sets for this spring..."

Manager Lin provided a detailed introduction of the two sets, including the designer, the selected diamonds and gemstones, as well as their origins and sizes.

Just as Manager Lin finished speaking and Xu Yisen was considering which set to choose, a sweet voice suddenly called out near his ear, "Chairman Xu."
