Xu Yisen turned his head and saw a tall and beautiful woman standing beside him, unsure of when she arrived. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝚠𝕖𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝕖𝚕.𝚌𝗼𝗺

Xu Yisen slightly furrowed his brows, feeling that the woman looked familiar, and after two seconds, he realized it was Sun Ruru, Shao Chuyan’s cousin, who came to his office yesterday asking for a role.

"Hmm." He nodded and withdrew his gaze, not paying further attention to Sun Ruru.

Sun Ruru did not feel awkward due to Xu Yisen’s indifference. She stayed put and also shifted her gaze to the jewelry held by the two staff members behind the showcase.

A glimpse of desire and envy quickly passed through her beautiful eyes beneath the long lashes.

Sun Ruru hid her true emotions well, with a pure and playful smile on her face, she naturally started a conversation with Xu Yisen, "Chairman Xu, are you choosing jewelry for your wife?"

"Hmm." Xu Yisen nodded a bit absentmindedly, clearly not very inclined to chat with Sun Ruru.

Glancing at Xu Yisen from the corner of her eye, Sun Ruru then earnestly looked at the jewelry being held by the two staff members and suggested with her red lips, "I think this dark green set on the left might suit Sister Muni’s temperament better."

Manager Lin nodded slightly and then instructed the staff to package both sets of jewelry.

Xu Yisen took out his wallet from his pocket, drew a gold card, and handed it to Manager Lin.

Sun Ruru, standing beside him, watched Xu Yisen’s generous payment action, and for a moment, was mesmerized. She felt quite envious of Qin Muni, who was about to receive the gifts.

After leaving the mall, Xu Yisen instructed Tang Haoliang to visit a nearby flower shop to buy a bouquet of champagne roses that Qin Muni liked.

When Xu Yisen arrived home, Qin Muni was sitting in the living room enjoying the cookies she just baked, pairing them with red wine.

As soon as Qin Muni heard the footsteps, she shifted her gaze from the TV to Xu Yisen, who walked into the living room. She instantly noticed the large bouquet of blooming champagne roses he held and the gift bag in his other hand.
