Alright, time to talk on some completely random things about Volume 2.

.... But where do I start from?

So, first of all, let’s talk about the pacing.

The biggest problem that many readers have had with TBH is the pacing, and I completely understand. For those who are angry with it or annoyed about it, I apologize sincerely. I’m sorry about that.

I know that the pacing of my novel is slow, which is why I try to write as many Chapters as possible.

To be honest, I try to change but I’m the type of person that likes to vividly describe some things. I think I learned this from Paragon of Sin.

Those who have read Paragon of Sin know that Paragon of Sin has one of the slowest pace you can ever see in a novel. Like for real, almost two thousand Chapters and the MC is still in the third major realm of cultivation, and there are many more realms.

POS was my favorite novel at some point, and I loved the way the author wrote. I especially loved how he wrote the description of things like alchemy or the battle or some other things.

I made sure not to make TBH as slow paced as POS in terms of progressing in the heart ranks since I know many readers don’t like that.

However, I personally love to write vivid descriptions of what the MC is doing.

Whenever I write, it’s like I’m seeing exactly what the MC is doing, every single thing, and I want my readers to be able to see it with me.

Sometimes I also think of TBH as an anime, and how it’ll be like if it was ever animated, so I try to always put in those little details.

Whenever I notice that it’s getting too long (probably like this explanation), I usually delete some words I’ve written and shorten them.

I do not, and I repeat, I DO NOT WORD PAD.

Word padding is even stressful to do because you have to be conscious of it, so I don’t even have the energy to word pad.

You guys also know that I write on the road and in school sometimes, so I don’t even have the time, concentration, and energy to word pad.

Let me just put this by the way.

Volume 2 would have been a lot longer than this because of the plan I had in mind earlier.

I wanted to write more on the subtle confrontations between Simon and Caesar, especially when they’re using the laws of the academy.

I also wanted to write more about Simon’s training with Sonya and Ormon, and how he learned the Broken Rhythm Art.

I have not forgotten about the Broken Rhythm Art. Don’t worry, it’s important.

Basically, volume 2 would have been a lot longer than this, but when I saw a lot of readers complaining about how long the academy arc is, I had the sudden inspiration to do a time skip and just fast-forward to the mission and the escape.

Fortunately, it turned out well and it ended well.

As for the discord server, I’m still working on it. I’ll put a picture in the comment section so that you guys can see the progress. I’m like 85% done with it. I just need to add some bots.

Then there’s me not replying to comments for a long time. I’ve said this so many times, and I’m sorry that I’ve not replied for so long.

I’m still trying to get a place, and I’m even planning on using today which is my off day to look at houses instead of resting.

I’ve made up my mind that I’ll get one before the end of this month or early next month. It’s compulsory I get one.

I need to have all the day to myself so that I can plan properly.

Now, Single Wish.

The reason why I’ve not uploaded Single Wish after so long is because I’ve not gotten my place and because I already write so many Chapters for TBH.

To be honest, I also plan on going through Single Wish again and correcting some grammatical mistakes that I made to make it better.

I’ve also forgotten some things about it, so I need to reread it, but I’ve not abandoned it. I’m going to continue writing it, but not anytime soon. And I’m sorry to everybody that I told I would continue writing it soon.

I didn’t know that TBH would do this well, and I have a chance of winning an award in WSA.

I really want to win an award, so I’m giving my all.

Then there’s the character art.

Yeah, so this requires money. I want to give a talented artist that would draw the characters by himself or herself and not with AI. So, until there’s money for this, this would have to wait.

As for Volume 3, I don’t know exactly what I want yet. The framework for the volume is not completed yet.

But funny enough, the framework for volume 4 or maybe it’ll be volume 5 is complete.

And I seriously believe that from that point on, shit goes down cause it’ll heavily involve earth and the gods and all.

Let’s just wait and see how everything goes. I seriously hope TBH keeps on getting better and keeps on increasing on every ranking.
