Under Han Wu's care, the pups grew big and strong. Male rats were sacrificed while females were kept for merging. Sacrifice gave him three options again.

The rich black soil gradually shifted to deep purple, and Han Wu planted fast-growing tomatoes in the enchanted plot as a test. Fruits started growing in just half a day.

Han Wu stared uncertainly at the purple tomatoes before tasting them. Upon eating them, he learned that they enhanced a life form's reproductive capacity, so he fed all the purple tomatoes to the mother rat as dessert.

He then experimented with other crops. Each crop type produced a different effect. Purple wheat gave life forms increased strength, while purple grass increased milk production. Remarkably, the latter even affected males, allowing them to start producing milk. He even tried fruit trees, but they required more time to grow and bear fruit.

While waiting, Han Wu rounded up his bees and ground the purple wheat into a powder for them to eat. The pollinator bees' strength surged. A single bee could now lift an apple without difficulty and fly away with it.

Seeing this, Han Wu hatched a new plan. He ordered the bees to fly into the neighboring farms and steal their crops. Anything in sight was fair game, regardless of their ripeness.

The bees obediently carried out his orders, and Han Wu’s new neighbors suffered. Previously, the bees had only reduced yields, but now they were carrying off anything that grew.

One farm owner watched as a two-centimeter-long bee flew away with an entire orange. Another group of a dozen or so bees dragged away an entire durian. The spectacle was more shocking than watching the fruits fly off on their own.

When the farm owner tried to intervene, several hundred bees grouped up to sting him repeatedly and knock him flat. Face swollen like a pig's head, he could do nothing but watch helplessly as his crops disappeared. Some farm owners, driven past their limit, quit on the spot.

Han Wu earned a lot of coins thanks to the bees, which allowed him to invest in even more bees and increase his theft rate. Within a month, a swarm of 50,000 bees was looting from dawn to dusk. They had become the next great plague of the continent, second only to the rat infestation.

After many cycles of feeding and merging, the mother rat had reached thirty meters in length, with a tail over a hundred meters long. From a distance, it could’ve been mistaken for a Tyrannosaurus rex.

Her babies grew large on the abundant crops and started breaking through the fencing to raid the surrounding farms on their own. If a farm owner fought back, they turned aggressive.

Han Wu's neighbors gave up one after another, and his territory expanded each time. Two more months passed. In that time, Han Wu made limited progress as a farmer, but there was no competition when it came to animal breeding.

The rats destroyed entire farms in one go, while the bees stole every crop. Farm owners broke down and quit one by one, and soon, only four farms remained with active owners. Two of them, Farm 444 and Farm 666, were Han Wu's. The other two, Farm 777 and Farm 888, were held by the last two remaining contestants, who had quietly joined forces to resist.
