Seeing Ivan’s action, the rest didn’t waste time and followed suit. Each of them held a mana core on top of their palms and sat in a meditative state. They started to breathe steadily and the mana inside the chamber started flowing towards them too!

Thanks to the abundant amount of mana inside the mana chamber, Ivan didn’t feel any change in the mana that he was absorbing even after the rest joined.

There was enough mana for everyone!

The mana chamber constantly drew the mana from outside the mana chamber inside before pushing it towards the five students. In addition to that, mana was also rising from the mana cores on their palms and entering their bodies.

Ignoring everything else around him, Ivan focused on controlling the mana that was rushing toward him like a fierce tide. His control was as good as ever and he was able to smoothly guide the mana into his mana core.

Like pouring water into a river, the mana that Ivan absorbed seamlessly fused with his mana and quickly expanded it.

At the same time, mana flowed into his core and started nourishing his single mana orb.

The little orb spun in place as it glowed brightly before deeming back, it was an endless circle.

Ivan couldn’t help but smile when he saw this. He was very close to the third stage of the Level 1 warrior rank, he could feel it!

Time passed. The two Level 3 warriors who were guarding the entrance of the mana chamber soon came to inform the students that enough time had passed and they should come out.

Staying inside the mana chamber for too long wasn’t a good thing. Evidence was the students who were now covered in sweat and gasping for air.

Ivan and a few others were still breathing normally but their uniforms didn’t avoid getting soaked.

This situation was even worse for Lena and the rest of the female students. After sweating so much, their uniforms had become wet and were sticking to their bodies.

The scene was quite...nice to watch.

"What are you looking at?" Juliet glared at Lucas who was staring at her waist. Her expression was cold but her cheeks were slightly flushed.

"N-nothing!" Lucas replied in panic and hurriedly looked away.

Lena and Aaron laughed at their interaction while Ivan silently walked behind them. The group had already left the mana chamber and was currently returning to their respective lodge.

They weren’t the only ones, members of the other squads who had also entered the mana chamber earlier were also returning and weren’t too far from them.

Just that, some of them were not in the mood to joke like Ivan’s group.

They had tasted the effect of a mana chamber and it was quite magical. It was regrettable that some of them wouldn’t be able to enter a second time until the next assessment or some of them only had one or two more entries, unlike Ivan’s squad, which could enter any day for the whole month!

Not like any of this mattered to Ivan and his group anyway. They finally arrived at the lodge area and soon started separating. They arrived at Ivan’s lodge first, so he waved the others goodbye before heading for his lodge.

"Hey, want to go to the cafeteria together?" Lena suddenly asked.

It was already approaching evening and none of them had eaten anything since they entered the dungeon. They were obviously going to go eat something after washing up and changing out of their uniforms.

"Sure, I’ll go?" Lucas was the first to answer. Aaron and Juliet also agreed to eat together.

Seeing this, Ivan felt he had no reason to refuse so he nodded in agreement.

"See you all in thirty minutes," he said before entering the building and closing the door behind him.

Lena smiled before leaving with the others. Their lodge buildings were not on the same row as Ivan’s.

Some time later. Juliet had finished washing up and had changed into a simple yellow top and black pants when she came out of her lodge building. Her blonde hair dropped freely behind her, she looked really beautiful at the moment.

She glanced at the students outside her lodge building. The students were whispering to one another while glancing in her direction.

Juliet wasn’t sure what they were whispering but there was no way for her to find out so she decided to forget about it. She was about to leave and meet up with Ivan and the others when a voice suddenly called out from ahead.

"If it isn’t Juliet Devarus," a haughty female voice sounded.

Juliet’s eyes trembled upon hearing the voice, she recognised it. A look of fear instantly appeared on her face as she looked in the other party’s direction.

Not far away from her, a group of 3 students were approaching. A tall girl with short brown hair walked in front while two other girls walked behind her. All three of them had wicked smirks on their faces as if they had plotted the revenge of a century.

Juliet instinctively took a step backwards. These three students were her classmates. The one with short brown hair in front was Selen Monvena, she was from a second rated noble family and also had the musketeer-class like Juliet.

She was the one Juliet had told Lena and the rest about earlier. Selen was the one who was picking on her because they had the same ability yet Juliet was performing better during practical classes, she was the reason why the rest of their classmates avoided Juliet!

"Trying to run?" A look of delight appeared on the faces of the three girls when they noticed Juliet taking a step back. They immediately dashed forward and surrounded her, Selen stood in front of her and gazed down at Juliet.

"After all my advice and care, you remain stubborn. You dared to make it into the top ten when I only got 25th place. And not just that, you even helped Lena to carry a squad of mismatches and took first place. Isn’t this a direct insult to my face?" Selen asked with a smile but her tone wasn’t the least friendly.

Juliet’s face turned pale.

"I-i didn’t carry the squad. It was Ivan, Ivan killed most of the orcs with Aaron and Lena helping him." She hurriedly explained.

Selen and the other two girls paused for a moment before suddenly bursting into laughter. They laughed for ten seconds before calming down.

Pah!!

Selen suddenly slapped Juliet on her left cheek, the force of the slap forcefully turned Juliet’s head in the other direction and a palm print could be vaguely seen on her face.

"We might have been born at night but we weren’t born last night. Do you really want us to believe that a Paladin was the reason your squad defeated an orc village with two wizards?

I’m a musketeer like you and I killed most of the orcs for my squad. When lying, at least make sure you’re lying to someone with a different ability." Selen said coldly.

The surrounding students looked at the four of them but nobody came to help, they were afraid of Selen.

"I really am not lying. I only killed two orcs, Ivan, Lena, and Aaron were the ones who defeated the orc village!" Juliet said honestly, her face looked like she was about to tear up.

"Look at this, she’s really treating us like kids."

"Haha, she wants to convince us that she’s telling the truth. An earth mage who can’t cast spells off the ground and a Paladin helped a plant mage to destroy an orc village."

"She must be looking down on us because of the rewards she received or the mana chamber affected her brain."

The two girls who had come with Selen said one after the other. Juliet really wanted to burst into tears at this point, she really wasn’t lying!

Selen’s eyes narrowed as she looked at Juliet. She said after a while.

"Looks like I was too gentle with you, I need to teach you a lesson. Hand over the mana cores you received and follow us." She said strongly.

Julie’s body trembled when she heard this. She lowered her head and whispered.

"I...I can’t, I have to meet with Lena and the others." 𝚏𝐫𝚎𝗲𝕨𝐞𝐛𝕟𝚘𝐯𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝗺

"What was that? I didn’t hear you." Selen asked angrily. She had heard what Juliet said, she just wanted to confirm if Juliet would dare to say it again.

"She said she won’t give you her mana cores and she wants to go meet Lena and the others, probably Ivan Castellan and the other two boys in her squad." One of the two girls replied Selen.

"Trying to scare us with them? You think Lena and Ivan would care about a nobody like you from an ordinary family?

They probably only teamed up with you because they didn’t find others who were easy to use, they’ll definitely abandon you in the next assessment." The second girl laughed.

"And when did we tell you that?!"

A voice rang out from behind them at this moment. Selen and the other two girls froze when they heard this voice.

Juliet looked past them and saw Lena, Lucas, Ivan, and Aaron walking over.

Lena looked at Juliet and winked at her while smiling.
