Treasure Hunting System: The Ocean Conquerer
Chapter 1006 - 417: Their Own Thoughts (Part 2)
Otherwise, it might not have been completed so quickly.
But hard work pays off, and each of them was extremely satisfied with the five treasures they forged.
They were still within the Great Library.
In the center, the group gathered together, surrounded also by the Puppet Girls.
Today is the day for the distribution of treasures.
"Here you go, Juanlu, yours first." Alka said, handing a sphere to Juanlu.
This sphere was no different from the four others floating above his staff, constructed in the same manner.
"The emotional aspect of this treasure actually represents one emotion, which is laziness, and specifically, the poison of laziness."
Juanlu took the sphere, and Magic Power enveloped it. Its special forging allowed him to quickly master this treasure.
The sphere grew larger, and another round little monster appeared.
No different from the other four.
"I see, so this sphere can adapt to and attack various aspects of the emotion of laziness."
Alka nodded; that was exactly the meaning.
The Divine Essence of laziness serves to enhance laziness, to bestow laziness.
Its conceivable function is to make enemies become disheartened and slow their actions in battle, both emotionally and mentally.
Juanlu looked at the sphere, inexplicably smiled with satisfaction.
With a wave of his hand, the sphere merged into the four rotating around him. Now Juanlu’s staff had five floating spheres.
Two of them could even be counted as individual treasures.
Next, Alka brought out a box, not meant for holding treasures, but a very exquisite wooden box.
The surface of the wooden box was engraved with intricate patterns, like a gift box for valuable items.
Alka opened it, revealing a gentle material inside, holding a beautifully crafted harp.
The harp was engraved with reliefs of waves and merfolk leaping out of the sea, singing.
The slightly ornate exterior didn’t compromise its functionality; it was crafted according to Julia’s holding habits.
After all, Julia was involved in the making of this treasure; otherwise, they might have needed more time.
But even so, this treasure still took the longest to forge.
Primarily because music was an area they had never explored before.
Looking at the harp.
Julia’s eyes sparkled as she gently took it out of the box.
Unable to resist, she started to play.
Notes leaped from the strings.
The sound of the music was exceptionally bright.
Alka began explaining from the side: "This treasure’s ability related to sound is actually to amplify it. A very simple, unadorned ability, yet it suits you perfectly."
Julia nodded, and as she played, Magic Power enveloped it.
Playing while mastering the treasure.
The music grew louder and spread further.
The music started to penetrate the entire library and then surrounded the fortress. It spread farther and farther, until the entire surrounding sea could faintly hear the music.
The Sound of Dawn, which had been lingering below, also began to sing along with this music.
Those standing at the source of the music, like Alka and the others, felt the music was clear, rather than overwhelming.
"Amazing, this treasure is amazing." Julia’s face was full of joy; her satisfaction with the treasure exceeded her initial expectations.
As she spoke, Julia extended her hand, and a red-and-green coin was flicked.
The coin rotated, surrounded by red flame patterns and a fresh green aura on her hand.
Then Julia used the coin as a plectrum, her fingers guiding the aura to play the harp.
The music carried red and green auras.
Penetrating everyone’s body.
"This, this is already matching?" Jason stood beside, frowning, surprised and said.
It became synchronized as soon as she mastered it.
Through the coin and the merfolk’s talent, the music provided buffs for their allies and debuffs for enemies.
The music could be conveyed far through the vibrations of the harp strings, turning into a vast range. It was almost impossible to escape it in battle.
Such a massive sound couldn’t be dispersed.
After the music stopped, everyone felt rejuvenated.
Julia put away the harp, still slightly unsatisfied.
Even happily humming.
"So, what about your three treasures? Would you mind satisfying my curiosity?" Jason asked the three with a smile.
"Of course, no problem." Alka laughed, then opened his palm.
In his hand appeared an ordinary coin, in the shape of a Silver Snake.
One side depicted a serpent in an ’S’ shape, while the other represented the coin’s denomination.
A nonexistent ten, not the distinctive ten of this world but the Chinese character ten.
In everyone’s eyes, it was a crossed crucifix.
"Why did you make it in the shape of a Silver Snake?" Chadite asked curiously.
They all knew it was certainly a treasure, just curious why Alka chose this appearance.
