Treasure Hunting System: The Ocean Conquerer
Chapter 1007 - 417: Everyone’s Own Thoughts (Part 3)
Alka smiled: "Just consider it a memento."
He then looked at Chadite: "You’re up next."
With that, he flicked the coin in his hand into the air, where it quickly spun before Alka caught it.
But nothing happened.
Chadite just stood there, feeling a bit puzzled.
A floating bookshelf passed overhead just above Chadite, and coincidentally Matilda was on this shelf and suddenly fell off for inexplicable reasons.
As she fell, she grabbed a book, bringing it down with her.
Seeing this, Chadite quickly caught her.
"Up to your antics again," he said, pinching Matilda’s cheek, then placed her on his shoulder.
He took a quick look at the book that had fallen along with her.
"Islarame, The Design of the Goddess of Beauty"
Seeing the book’s title, Chadite immediately got interested and flipped through it briefly.
Looking at its content, he couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow, keeping it in hand, then glanced at the others.
The others also looked at Alka, frowning, still feeling nothing unusual. 𝕗𝐫𝐞𝕖𝕨𝐞𝗯𝚗𝕠𝘃𝐞𝚕.𝐜𝗼𝚖
Instead, Alka chuckled.
Seeing this smile, Chadite suddenly thought of something and looked at the book in his hand.
"Luck?"
Alka nodded with a smile: "That’s right, although it’s just a little bit of luck, it’s luck nonetheless, isn’t it?"
"Interesting, let me try too." Jason hurried over and said.
Facing such a request, Alka nodded.
He opened his palm again and flicked the coin.
Then, before the coin fell, he caught it in mid-air.
Seeing this scene, Jason touched his body and looked around.
He just stood there waiting.
The others watched closely too.
After waiting a while, Jason didn’t feel any difference.
He couldn’t help but turn around and ask Ulu Liwus behind him: "How about it? Do you feel like I’ve changed at all?"
Ulu Liwus shook her head; she felt nothing.
A gentle breeze blew.
A bit of trash suddenly floated up to Ulu Liwus’s nose, making it tickle, and she instantly sneezed.
As she sneezed, her magic power involuntarily formed a small crystal that, empowered by the sneeze, struck Jason’s head.
"Tss~"
The unexpected item caused Jason pain, making him gasp and jump while holding his head.
"Ah, sorry, I didn’t mean it." Ulu Liwus was shocked herself.
She hadn’t expected her sneeze would condense magic power into a small crystal.
And just so happened to hit Jason’s head.
Watching this, Alka chuckled.
The others reacted and looked at Alka, asking, "So he didn’t become lucky but instead more unlucky this time?"
Alka nodded; it seemed so.
"After all, it’s a coin, it carries randomness; luck or misfortune isn’t up to me."
Chadite squinted at him: "Can you really not decide?"
Upon hearing this, Alka chuckled: "Yes, I can only decide a little bit, not completely alter. I can only vaguely adjust the odds between both."
"Still, even for me, I can’t be sure whether it’s luck or misfortune."
"So you did it on purpose, damn." Jason glared at Alka and cursed twice.
Alka just shrugged helplessly; it couldn’t be blamed on him.
"I didn’t know whether he’d be lucky or unlucky either, you insisted to try yourself. I did say in advance, I didn’t purposely change his odds; it entirely depends on your own luck."
Jason could only hold his head.
Then, Matilda spread her palm open.
She had already grasped her own treasure previously.
A slender bottle emerged from her hand.
The bottle depicted the scene of sea water rolling back, and atop the tsunami, a four-armed Naga could be seen summoning wind and rain.
There was also the depiction of thunder striking down on it.
The entire bottle was colored blue and light purple.
This was the water-related treasure they created.
"It can store water and separate the storage, preventing the water inside from mixing.
Moreover, it enables water control."
She gently waved her hand, a stream of water gushed from the bottle’s mouth.
The flow, however, was evidently far greater than its visual appearance; merely a spurt turned into a broad curtain of water, covering everyone.
