Treasure Hunting System: The Ocean Conquerer
Chapter 896 - 380: The Birth of New Life (Part 3)
The spire is divided into two layers.
The lower layer is a trapezoidal furnace with something akin to molten lava burning hot and rotating at the center.
Above the spire floats above it, with a gap between the two.
The spire is constructed not with silver products or clouds like in the Dream Realm, but with pure black steel.
Flame-like patterns flow over its surface.
It stands out against the architecture of the Dream Realm.
A pair of misty hands clutched a frantically struggling demon.
Pulled from a temporary cell bound by cloudy silver architecture.
They dragged it firmly to the furnace.
"Damn it, let me go, quickly! Let me go! Please, I'm willing to sign a contract with you! A slave contract! Please let me go!"
This demon's exterior isn't the typical scarlet but rather a pale gray, evident from its power and intellect.
It's clear this is a Fifth Stage demon, esteemed even among Middle Tier demons.
At that moment, its face was full of terror, a expression seldom seen on reckless and bloodthirsty demons.
Yet none of its pleas had any effect on the misty creatures.
The mist creatures remained unmoved, continuing to drag it closer to the furnace.
"Damn you, I curse you all, I curse this world!
The Abyss will devour you, you'll ultimately become part of the Abyss, never to escape!"
It shouted curses loudly.
But the mist creatures remained unmoved, arriving beside the furnace, and forcefully threw it into the fiery place.
With screams of agony.
The demon was consumed by the lava-like liquid.
It vanished instantly, submerged in the scorching molten fire.
Not a ripple was stirred within.
As the liquid inside, like lava, continued rotating.
Alka could clearly see that some aura seemed to emanate and was then absorbed towards the top of the spire.
Inside, undergoing some complex transformative structure, it transformed at the top of the spire into a faint cloud of mist that drifted out.
Pure, world-like energy.
Several mist creatures guarded the top.
They swiftly collected these mists, quickly taking them to the most valuable batch among the buildings below.
Those incubation pools for hatching new mist creatures.
Among them, one incubation pool seemed to have absorbed enough energy.
A misty egg emerged, slowly drifting out.
"Your Majesty, go on, this is the first life born in your kingdom. It's a moment to remember," said the Shadow Robe, who appeared beside Alka at some unknown time.
Alka nodded, equally filled with curiosity and excitement.
Next to him, a phantom carried him swiftly to the incubation pool.
Surrounding mist creatures seemed to be awaiting his arrival as well.
Alka slowly approached the mist creatures' incubation pool, although its shape seemed indistinguishable from the surrounding buildings.
On the cloud platform, he gazed at the cloud egg composed of dense mist.
Though its appearance looked no different from ordinary mist.
But Alka could sense that a new Dream Realm being was gestating inside.
He witnessed the birth of Dream Realm life.
Gained new insight.
Slowly walked over, extending both hands to cradle the egg.
Very light, extremely light, as if holding a wad of cotton.
Yet it seemed heavy.
For some reason, a slight sense of tension rose within.
"What should I do?" Holding the egg, Alka was momentarily unsure what to do. He turned and asked.
"Just awaken it, Your Majesty."
Upon hearing this, Alka nodded.
Holding the egg, he softly called.
As he called, a faint pink mist surged mysteriously from the white cloud.
The misty egg broke open, beginning to rotate like a whirlwind.
With the rotation, a new mist creature was finally born.
This newborn mist creature's appearance was very much like a chubby little bird.
Amongst the original white mist, a trace of faint pink cloud was interwoven.
It looked more beautiful and even unique.
However, it looked somewhat out of place among the surrounding mist creatures.
"Why does it have pink?" Alka asked as he looked at the creature in his hand.
The Shadow Robe beside him examined closely.
"Your Majesty, this should be the characteristic of your kingdom.
This signifies that this newborn life was born from your kingdom; they were born as your subjects, born as your followers."
"Is that so?" Alka had no understanding of these matters.
But he did indeed feel a faint connection between him and this new mist creature, distinct from other mist creatures residing in his kingdom.
Gently let go.
The mist creature flew out, at that moment, newly born and exceptionally bewildered.
Mist creatures waiting nearby hurriedly greeted, taking this new life onto themselves, carrying it upward.
