What is this 'price', you ask? An invasion. Monsters from another world. Creatures we've only known through fork lore, myths and fantasy novels. They came from portals, known as Dungeon Gates, threatening all of mankind as we knew it. So in order to fight this catastrophe, the evolution happened. Half of the world's already large population Awakened as superhumans with Skills, Spells and Special Attacks all so they could pass through the Gates, enter the Dungeons and clear them. One by one. Thus marked the beginning of the Great Age Of Warriors.Name's Raid. And I'm one such Warrior. Now here's the kicker. I'm an F-Rank. The first one in history. Due to my low Mana Capacity, I could only choose one Class. The infamous Blacksmith Class. A Class no one even looked at twice, because weapons of mass destruction can easily be created with today's technology without much hassle. Now I'm faced with the reality of being seen as the weakest Warrior of all time, but you know what? To hell with it all. I'll make the most of the cards I've been dealt, even if those cards are...pretty shitty cards. I'll show all those High-Ranked Warriors what's what. A young Japanese man inherits his parents' grape farm after they impulsively bought it during retirement but couldn't handle its physical demands. Though initially reluctant, he finds success farming for three years until market oversaturation causes prices to plummet. While playing a new video game called “Immortal Order: Origin” about historical secrets, he is mysteriously transported to 16th century North America, where he encounters starving English colonists from the lost Roanoke Colony. His grape farm has been transported with him, complete with modern equipment and a secret gift called 'Immortal'.

Thus, Shang Ke started a never-ending (forced) cycle of constantly throwing away his miserable life.

He would always show himself as a martyr while letting others cry over his death.

It was because of a woman’s curse that Shang Ke was hit by a car and turned into a human vegetable. This led to him becoming bound by an unlucky system in which he was cursed to die. The most unfortunate part was that he never cheated on anyone’s feelings. The reason for why he was cursed by a woman was because of a guy named Qi Chen. Qi Chen was a ladies man, and he would always use Shang Ke as an excuse to break up with any woman that he was with. As a result, Shang Ke was always blamed for the breakups. Since then, the main character could only be forced to cross into different worlds. He would thus experience for himself, the hero’s “thrill”.
