This is a story about a snake named Tycondrius waking up in a fantasy world of swords and sorcery. There is action, violence, unapologetic murder, and arrogant displays of power. There is an emphasis on combat growth as well as psychological growth on more than a few members of Guild Invictus. There is camaraderie and also the inevitable comedic dialogue amongst manly men. There are even elements of romance and Tycon running away from terrifying, powerful women. (Did you know most female snakes eat their partners after mating?)

Le Wan transmigrated into a book, becoming a sacrifice in the fight between a real rich daughter and a fake rich daughter. Being the cousin of the real rich daughter, she had a good family background and looks, as well as the affection of all other family members and her fiance. She is unquestionably the object of group pampering, treated like a princess, and born lucky… She would have been a winner if she had not sabotaged herself.

However, the problem was that her fiance was the male lead! A philandering scumbag, he would always call Le Wan ‘darling’ before the female lead showed up, stealing the cousin’s heart. However, once the female lead appeared, he started calling her ‘sister’ instead and distant himself, insisting that he was loyal to the female lead. Being lovestruck and having been pampered since birth, Le Wan’s original body could not accept being dumped for the rich daughter, who was raised in a farming village! She decided to endlessly harass the female lead, reducing herself to cannon fodder and subjecting her whole family to the same fate.

Gods, monsters, devils, angels every higher creature from every mythology began to bless those they found worthy and share their powers.

Eventually with the emergence of the gates, we realized they were preparing us.

The so called chosen heroes who enter gates are known as the Blessed and in it’s become the most sought after career in the world.

They are the most famous and well known people in the entire world and some are even the leaders of their own nations.

They are immensely powerful, beautiful, and charming beings.

After five whole years, we still have no idea what the higher’s criteria are for blessing a human.

Despite the seemingly loose criteria, only 1 percent of the population actually end up as blessed and gain the privilege of entering gates and defending our world.

With all of the excitement around the Blessed, we seem to have forgotten the most important question.

Why are they doing this for us and what will they require in return?
