The renowned shadow... - Chapter 20 -:The Awakening

This is a rebirth story of a normal girl, Kylie. She was a normal girl, living a normal life. Married and had kids. Nothing outstanding about her, but nothing terrible either. Then she was attacked and left to die.

Her soul screamed in pain at having to leave behind two small children that needed her, yet she couldn't do anything. As she entered eternal darkness ... it took her some time to realise that she was not dead. She was alive, only yet to be born.

And she was a boy.

Nijigen is a freshman and Banri’s friend. He gains his nickname at the tea ceremony club’s welcoming party after declaring his despair of the three-dimensional world and that he would live for the two-dimensional world from then on. His nickname in high school was “Satoutaka”.

“On that day, Zach Harper died-” Or at least that was how it was supposed to be. I died. But there was good news, and bad news. The good news; I was reincarnated! Transmigrated into the World of Aethoria! Holy fuck, miracles do happen! But the bad news was, “Huh? What’s this?” ... [DING!] A New Quest has been issued:- Type:- SURVIVAL Name:- Quest To Becoming Stronger: Description: The {Great Calamity} is coming...Get stronger and survive. Duration-: ... Reward:- ... Penalty:- Death, ??? ] ... I had to survive.

An alien race invaded the Earth on June 6, 2128. At the midst of this war, many nations allied with the alien threat and the war nearly wiped out the rebelling humans of the planet. At the edge of mankind's survival, the United Nations Army launched its forces to eliminate the immediate stellar threats that loomed over Earth.

General Seeker Carlean, commander and leader of the mission, risked and gave his life to destroy the immediate stellar threat. The battle was won though Earth lay in ruins. Perhaps mankind will live to see a few years of peace before the alien threat returns to wipe out their existence.

At the immediate aftermath of the stellar battle, the fallen Seeker Carlean awakens and finds himself at aged 17, living the peaceful life he lived 16 years before he died.

So begins a new game in the battle for humanity's survival.
