As she cursed, Aunt Lin raised the feather duster in her hand and aimed another blow at Summer Shawcross!

Summer Shawcross was taken aback and was about to raise her hand to block it... when a slender wrist suddenly appeared in front of her, firmly grasping Aunt Lin’s descending feather duster!

"Ah, you wicked girl, how dare you bully me after just a month here! I’m going to tell Sherry and have her deal with you!" Aunt Lin shouted, glaring at the person who pushed her.

"Katherine Irving?" Summer Shawcross looked at the person standing in front of her, surprised.

Though she was amazed that Katherine Irving was helping her, what surprised her more was... Katherine’s swift actions just now.

Aunt Lin had struck her unexpectedly with considerable force, but Katherine had effortlessly caused Aunt Lin, with her not-so-light body, to fall to the ground...

Thinking of this, Summer’s expression grew even more puzzled—could Katherine know martial arts?

"Hmph, whether Sherry deals with anyone is still unknown!" Katherine said discontentedly, glancing at Aunt Lin who was groaning in pain on the ground.

"You wicked girl, just you wait!" Aunt Lin hissed through clenched teeth, hastily picking up the feather duster from the floor.

She had long disliked Katherine, who after just a month in Silvanus Manor, acted arrogantly, disregarding everyone!

"Watch me teach you a lesson today as well!" Aunt Lin angrily got up, swinging the feather duster in her hand to strike at Katherine again!

At this moment, a rapid series of footsteps echoed down the hallway, the sound of high heels clicking against the floor.

"Have you had enough?" The voice that followed was an angry woman’s.

Upon hearing that voice, both Aunt Lin and Katherine instantly calmed down.

Sherry was striding over quickly, followed by several tall men.

Seeing Sherry approach in a rush, Summer’s heart tightened, filled with a sense of foreboding.

She had just attempted a failed escape; this woman was likely here for revenge!

Sherry came up to the three of them, glanced around the scene, and suddenly instructed Katherine.

"Katherine, take Esther back to rest!"

Hearing this, Summer Shawcross showed a look of astonishment.

She had expected Sherry to come over to punish her, but she was only told to go back and rest.

Katherine nodded, then reached out to hold Summer’s hand.

"Let’s go."

Summer paused, turned to take another glance at Aunt Lin, then turned around and left with Katherine.

Watching them leave, Aunt Lin displayed an expression of dissatisfaction.

"Sherry, those two little brats!"

"Aunt Lin, you stay," Sherry said, looking at her.

Once the two girls had completely left, Sherry’s voice slowly rose again.

"You should leave!" Her voice was full of coldness.

"What?" Aunt Lin looked puzzled.

"Leave here. You’re no longer needed." Sherry sighed, her face full of reproach.

"Why, Sherry? I was only following the rules." Aunt Lin’s face froze, looking bewildered, completely unaware of what mistake she had made.
