Chapter 330

Within a second, Ray had flipped the hammer and swung it downward toward the creature’s leg.

But it was quick enough to vault backward.

"Two!" Ray shouted as he tossed the hammer and held out his hand while cocking it backward.

A bone spear zipped into his hand with lightning crackling across the whole weapon.

Then,

Bang—!

The spear was hurled forward with Ray’s entire force, producing a deafening bang as the projectile cut through the air.

Before the controller could do anything, the spear smashed into his ribcage and was about to pierce through, but it was stopped as the bones around its body shifted and coalesced in that exact spot, pushing the spear back.

The controller was also pushed back by the force of the throw, his heels digging trenches into the ground.

"Number four!"

Ray bolted forward while holding his hand behind him, and with the use of her ability, Chloe sent a bone shield flying into the boy’s grasp.

Within a moment, he was before the guardian and hurled the shield like a frisbee—sending it spinning with rapid velocity.

The guardian was quick enough and was about to dodge when crystals ran across the ground with lightning speed, rushing toward the guardian’s legs and pinning it to the ground.

Kai could be seen a short distance away with his hands placed on the ground while focusing intently.

The crystal was so hard that the controller genuinely wouldn’t be able to break free instantly, hence it lifted its hands in front of its face.

WAM!

The shield smashed into his guard with the force of a siege ram and in the process shattered against the creature’s skeletal forearms, but not without taking a few chunks away from it.

Lifting its hand toward the ground, a bone hammer flew into its grasp, which it proceeded to swing downward to smash the crystals into shards, freeing itself.

And then, the guardian darted forward, closing the distance between him and Ray in the blink of an eye before swinging his hammer from the side.

"Four!"

A shield zipped into his hand, which he snapped in place just in the nick of time.

The hammer collided with such a heavy bang, sounding like an enormous gong being struck with a mallet.

Ray’s hands vibrated violently as the ground beneath his feet caved in with each passing second while cracks spread across the shield.

"VAN!"

Bang!

The guardian snapped his head to the side to see a beam shooting toward it with blazing speed.

Left with no other option, it was about to move away when it suddenly felt its legs wrapped by something.

Looking down, a golden lasso was wrapped around its legs while being held by Ray, who pulled with all his might, restraining the guardian long enough for the beam to smash into its ribcage.

The exact same spot where the spear from earlier had hit was struck again, and the beam cracked through but couldn’t totally smash the chest open.

Glaring at Ray, a bone sword shot into its hand, which it proceeded to swing at the boy who had already darted backward as if reading the beast’s movements.

And that was because he had.

Currently, his vision had changed, and in front of him was a blazing flame of purple aura which represented the beast.

’So I was right.... it’s a beast.’

The aura flickered.

The guardian tried dashing towards the boy only to crash head first into the ground.

Forgetting that its movements was restricted by a golden lasso.

"Three!"

Ray shouted as he bolted forward and a hammer flew into his hand.

Shooting into the air, he descended back down with a hammer smash to the beast’s skull.

Booom—!

The ground caved in beneath the beast’s body as chunks of earth went flying into the air.

The guardian’s elbow flew backward in an attempt to bash into Ray who was now long gone.

Quickly untangling itself, the controller shot upright and was about to lift a foot when it found it stuck and seemingly chilling.

Looking down, it could see ice crawling from his leg upward as if wanting to encase him in their cold grasp.

Raising his hand, a hammer flew into it which the guardian proceeded to smash downward, shattering the ice around its leg.

"Ha! Fool." Trisha laughed as the ice shattered and with it, the guardian’s bone leg was gone causing it to stumble towards the ground.

WAM!

A bone hammer was swung from down below and bashed into the controller’s jaw with the force of a speeding train that the beast’s head flung backward with more cracks deepening across its skull.

"Van!"

A beam tore forward and crashed into the guardian’s chest again and this time, it not only sent the controller flying backward, it also destroyed its ribcage totally.

Kai could be seen descending from above after being flung by the use of a lasso.

A crystal club could be seen gleaming in his hand as he hurled it downward bashing it into the guardian’s shattered chest sending the beast crashing into the ground... hard.

Ray leaned forward with his leg shifting backward as he could see ice rushing and snaking across the guardian’s body from the ground.

Its skeleton jaws moved as if trying to say something.

Lightning crackled around Ray’s feet while an orb of light could be seen swirling around his hand.

’Hey Bruce. Do you know why I didn’t need you?’

BANG!

The boy shot forward in a streak of blue lightning as he appeared in front of the guardian whose hands were locked in place by purple crystals.

Vaulting into the air, Ray’s gaze sharpened as the orb spun faster and faster and then he spun around before descending downward with the help of Chloe’s telekinetic ability that had given him a boost one last time.

The orb was burning hotter as he rushed downward while locking eyes with the eye sockets of the creature.

’That’s because I have my friends!’

Ray smashed into the guardian’s skull with the orb landing first and then,

BOOOOM—!

A heavy explosion rocked the whole place as a huge shockwave blasted in all directions sending bones and chunks of earth flying.

The blast knocked Trisha and Kai away sending them flying.

The guardian’s skull could be seen breaking at an astonishing rate as the bright light could be seen seeping in all the cracks illuminating the skeleton from the inside out.

Finally, it gave way as the skull shattered into fragments followed by the rest of its body which shattered into a pile of bones.

[Congratulations. You have defeated....]
