Chapter 25: Chapter 24: A Date With Christine
Zoey stood at the counter with her newly aquired red dress, her silky black scarf, two heels and a few gifts for Christine in a shopping bag as she was goijg to pay for them.
'This should be everything, hopefully she likes these.' Zoey thought glancing at the gifts in her bag, before a small blush began to form on her face 'And this new outfit I'm going to be trying for the first time, I'm stepping out of my comfort zone for her.'
"You know, you could just back out now, I don't know what you think you're doing as I know that you don't have the money to pay for all this." The blonde haired girl said with a smirk behind Zoey, crossing her arms in triumph.
"I told you already, I'm not a "Peasant" and I can pay for this by myself." Zoey said with a bit of annoyance visible in her tone, this girl was really starting to get under her skin.
"Next!" The gentle voice of the cashier said before Zoey, signaling her turn to purchase her items. As Zoey approached the counter, the cashier gave her a questionable look, raising an eyebrow as their eyes looked her up and down, almost as if they were judging her status.

Zoey sighed as she felt the judgemental gaze of the cashier as she put her items on the counter, the cashier immediately began to scan the items, noticing that these items were very expensive, and that Zoey would probably be someone with a lot of money....even if she didn't look like it.
"That would be a grand total of $180,000 dollars." The cashier said as she took a machine for Zoey to pay.
Zoey grabbed her phone as she opened her banking app and used her Qr code to pay for her items, the blonde girl smirked as she thought that Zoey's bank account would be declined, but was suprised as the transaction went through with a small beep!
"Thank you for shopping, hope to see you next time." The cashier said, their tone taking on a sudden politeness.
"See? What did I tell you?" Zoey said with a satisfied smirk, grabbing her stuff as she walked out of the shop and down into the mall. Leaving the blonde haired girl suprised for a moment, before a sneaky grin formed on her face.
"Fufufu~Zoey, huh?" The girl said her name with a tinge of curiosity, "We'll meet again, that's for sure." The girl said as she walked out of the mall, with her maid following closely behind her.
Zoey exited the mall as the night started to fall over the sky, she glanced at the time, seeing that Christine's shift would be over soon. Zoey stuffed het phone into her pockets before stopping an approaching cab and requesting a drive back to her apartment.
-------
A woman with a beautiful white dress and high heels, stood infront of Zoey's door. Her brown hair and alluring brown eyes glistened in the moonlight, adding an alluring charm to her beautiful features.
"Zoey!" Christine called, knocking gently on the door. A few moments later the door opened up as Zoey stepped out of her apartment room, a look of suprise flashing across Christine's face as she saw the most beautiful woman she had laid her eyes on.
Her figure was enchanted by the red dress she wore, adorned with beautiful golden patterns. A silky black scarf was tied around her neck, glowing softly with the reflected moonlight.
Her short, crimson was neatly combed and taken care of as they blew in the direction of the wind with a gentle breeze, making her look like a majestic beauty of a man's wildest dreams.
"Zoey you're..." Christine struggled to struggle to find the words in her throat, making Zoey's body tense up a little, but the next word she was about to hear couldn't prepare her for what Christine was about to say:
"Beautiful." She finished, a small blush forming on her own face as she gazed away for a moment.
"C-christine!" Zoey's cheeks flushed a deep shade of red as she started to blush uncontrollably, nobody had ever called her beautiful before, something behind the genuine tone behind Christine's voice made Zoey's heart skip a beat for a moment.
"Hehe, what? It's the truth. You're actually stunning! who knew you could've looked this cute~" Christine teased slightly, smirking playfully.
"Well...you look...beautiful too, I guess." Zoey muttered under her breath, which did not go unnoticed by Christine.
"What did you say? Speak louder." Christine asked, although she had already heard what Zoey had said, she still wanted the satisfaction of hearing the clearly enter her ears.
"....forget it, let's go already." Zoey said as she closed the door behind her and walked down the stairs, leaving Christine stunned for a moment.
"H-hey! Wait up!" Christine said as she quickly catched up to her, "I still didn't hear you clearly, come on cutie," Christine teased as she leaned in closer, "Repeat what you said~"
Zoey's blush continued to intensify as her cheeks flushed a deeper shade of red, her face as red as a tomato. "You're beautiful too, okay!?" Zoey suddenly blurted out with great effort.
Christine chuckled in amusement, finding Zoey's embarrassment endearing "Well thank you," Christine said with a small smirk, grinning happily. Her eyes fell on the bag Zoey was carrying, raising an eyebrow out of curiousity.
"Hm? What's this?" Christine asked as she moved her hand to grab the bag, but Zoey quickly yanked it away from her, looking away to avoid eye contact.
"It's...a gift. Well, a few I suppose." Zoey said softly, causing Christine to blink in suprise, before a playful grin formed on her face.
"You actually bothered to buy me a few gifts, not what I expected, but it feels good I have to admit." She said with a small smile, before asking:
"What's inside?" Christine asked, curious.
"You'll find out soon, after we've finished with our..."Date"," Zoey said as she let out a small smile, "So, which restaurant are you taking me to?" Zoey asked, raising an eyebrow.
Christine grinned, a smug smile forming on her face as she looked up at the night sky, admiring the stars that seemed to twinkle and dance without a care in the world.
"You'll see when we get there, I feel like you'll like really like this one. The food is really great, and the service was said to be fantastic." Christine said.
Zoey's eyes widened slightly in suprise, "Expensive, huh?" She mused, placing a finger on her chin as she grinned, before facing back to Christine, "I'll be the one to pay this time." Zoey declared.
"Heh, you really are in the mood for spoiling me, huh, cutie?" Christine teased, nudging her arm with her elbow playfully.
"Stop calling me that!" Zoey replied, with a slight blush forming on her cheeks, "Besides, I just felt like returning what you've done for me, generously."
Zoey and Christine continued to walk through the streets of the city, engaging in small talk and light teasing as they made their way towards the resturant. When they got there, Zoey was shocked by how massive the resturant was.
She could smell the rich and delicious foods cooked by brilliant chefs, she could hear the people engaging in small talks as they ate their meals, music that charged the air with a soft, but romantic mood played softly, the perfect setting for the "Date" Zoey and Christine were going to have.
"Well, here we are." Christine said as she grabbed Zoey's hand, begining to pull her into the resturant. Zoey swallowed nervously as she entered the resturant, they were escorted to a table that was a bit more at the back, providing a sense of privacy.
"So, what do you think? It's pretty amazing huh?" Christine asked with a smug smile.
