Moments later, the couple followed the Mirewyrm deeper into the tunnel. The air was growing colder and darker. He concentrated, using Mana Manipulation to summon a soft, glowing light that illuminated their path.

’’There we go,’’ he said. ’’This should help.’’

Inara smiled just before the two continued forward. While trekking through the beasts’ home, more of the monstrous creatures emerged from the shadows and entered smaller tunnels that went to other parts of the colony.

Inara’s hand tightened around his arm, her pulse quickening as the creatures closed in. They pressed on, the sound of scuttling feet echoing in the narrow space until they finally arrived in a vast, cavernous chamber.

Thousands of Mirewyrms lingered in the shadows, their many beady eyes watching with quiet menace. In the center of the room, towering above them all, was a massive version of the creature, its scales shimmering like obsidian, exuding an aura of power.

A roar echoed from it, but he sidestepped the attack and hit it with a powerful punch that flung it into the distance. Without waiting, Archer used Mana Manipulation to grab the queen and pull it back toward him.

When the creature got close, he punched it again, causing a boom to ring out as it let out a whimper. Archer smiled before dropping it to the ground while speaking. ’’Now that I have your attention. You’ll serve me, or I’ll butcher every monster in here.’’

The queen quivered at his words, but he healed the monster and stepped back as the other Mirewyrms lunged at him. He waved his hand and destroyed them with a single thought, which scared the others.

Now that show of violence was witnessed by the queen caused her to submit and agreed to serve in his army. This made Archer happy as he opened a portal to the Domain and stepped through, followed by a group of Mirewyrms.

They appeared in the opposite direction of the Umbraworms, which would allow them to grow even more. When the monsters appeared beside him, they were shocked just as he ordered the Bloodmanes to bring Inara over.

Archer watched as one of the creatures grabbed her by the scruff of her neck, which shocked the older woman. They were through the portal within seconds before gently putting Inara down, who rubbed her neck.

’’Are you okay?’’ he questioned.

Following that, he closed his eyes and started pouring his mana into the realm. Archer started shaping it into a primal swamp that looked like it came straight from ancient Earth and when the monster saw it, they got excited.

Archer turned to face the Mirewyrm Queen, who was ordering her workers to dig a tunnel into the swamp as more of them entered the Domain. The worms got to work as Inara clung to him while watching them in fascination.

When the lioness heard that, she smiled before nodding in agreement as he opened a Gate to the treehouse where the three women were. They stepped through the portal and appeared in the living room.

Archer couldn’t help but chuckle as he watched the chaos unfold before him. Just as he was caught in the moment, Lucrezia approached silently, her eyes locking with his.
