Chase Childs froze at his words, momentarily unsure of what his boss meant.

’Was the boss blaming Director Liam Keane for rushing into production without finding the perfect actor?’

But you couldn’t really blame Director Liam Keane. Everyone knew he was a renowned, A-list director—talented, dedicated, and famous in the industry for being conscientious, responsible, and incredibly demanding.

That’s why, even for what was essentially a minor female role, he had been meticulously auditioning actors, striving for perfection.

But if he really couldn’t find the perfect fit, they couldn’t just keep delaying the shoot for such a minor role, could they?

Just as Chase Childs was about to speak up for the director, his boss stood up and asked, "Where’s the reservation for dinner?"

"I have." The show had been hyped for ages, with news about it everywhere, so of course Clara Grant knew about it. "The opportunity you found for me... it’s for *A Lifetime of Splendor*?"

"Yep! It’s an Aegis production, directed by Liam Keane. People are dying for a part in it. I heard there’s a female supporting role that Director Liam Keane has been trying to cast for ages, but he hasn’t found anyone he’s happy with. Even though it’s a supporting role, judging by how meticulous and demanding he is, it must be a pretty significant one. Clara, if you can land this role, you’ll be off to a great start... What’s wrong? You don’t like the idea?"

Sarah was speaking animatedly, but when she glanced over, she saw a slight frown on her friend’s face.

Inside the most luxurious private room at The Elysian Restaurant, River Sterling and Linden Jennings were laughing and drinking with the film’s production team. The atmosphere was cheerful and congenial.

Suddenly, the door to the room was pushed open. The boisterous crowd inside instantly fell silent, all heads turning toward the entrance.

When they saw the newcomer was none other than Seth Quinn, the room, which had just fallen silent, was instantly thrown into a quiet commotion. Everyone immediately rose to their feet to welcome his unexpected arrival.
