Shi Lang spent his time cultivating and beating the heck out of the Seniors in the Asura Hall, sometimes he would also go out for walks, and check how the other human experts were handling the situation and did they implement the schemes for the future nicely?

If he found any discrepancy in the conduct of these people, he would definitely not hold back and make a move against them. The people knew that Asura Hall was not joking when they talked about uniformity. The masses had even came forward for the Asura Hall to eradicate the corrupt and unify the whole world.

The sects were losing their influences in the hearts of the people, as many people were coming up to join the Asura Hall, however, thanks to the higher standards they had for an admission, most of the people were sent away. Otherwise the Asura Hall might have really unified the domain of human race.

Shi Lang didn't interfere where things were moving fine, he was only the guardian who came when things and people both needed to be taught a lesson. Time grew wings, and in a blink fifteen years have passed, Shi Lang was sitting inside the cave and his eyes were closed, he was comprehending the path ahead the realm of the Acolyte, he wanted to be a seeker.

So if the acolyte had the power of Dao coursing through his body then the seeker should have the power to see through the path of the other people. With this thought he began to contemplate how to approach it. Although it sounded like a simple idea, but Shi Lang had only reached upon this though after a decade.

This was the reality of cultivation. Following the normal path was fine, but seeking one of your own it becomes rather difficult and sometimes the people develop a tunnel vision. They have trouble comprehending the bigger picture and that would delay their progress.

The Terran inspected his body but found that even his cells were completely engraved with Dao Runes that he had comprehended over the time. He frowned and began to think what did it mean to see something.

As a cultivator he could see even without eyes, using his divine sense. He could also see with his instincts but that kind of a vision was limited and so he was not sure if he was correct with the details.

The terran took a deep breath and began to ponder about the situation once more. He needed to enter the deeper state to perceive the Dao that emitted from the other person. Then upon evaluation he came to the conclusion that detecting the path of the humans was not going to be easy, but for practice, he should perceive the nature around him.

The difference between natural objects and humans was that the former had no control over how to hide the Dao Fluctuation unlike the humans who could regulate it. So, he opened his eyes and walked out of the seclusion room, and came to the pavilion in the garden.

He sat down on the ground and focused his gaze at one of the flowers in the garden. He was not trying to perceive anything just yet, first he needed to understand the structure of the flower on a cellular level. Why so? Natural objects had Dao runes ingrained on their cells and the collective frequency of vibration that emitted from these cells at the same time, and this vibration was the gateway of Dao Path.

Shi Lang wanted to perceive the Dao Path and for that he needed to first reach the threshold of this gateway. The Terran used his ability to sense the surroundings and focuse it all onto the flower before him.

This flower was a simple herb and was one of the most common ingredients used into most of the spirit pills that promoted body refining. Hao Ren began to sense the cellular structure and how it reacts to the various probes of the spiritual energy. The disturbances in the vibration and then he followed this up with another flower to see if the reaction from the two herbs was any different.

The research was slow and tedious but he didn't ask for help from anyone. The process went on for days and weeks. Yu Xeidi would come and ask him about a few things and he guided her patiently with a smile on his face. Hao Mei and Xiao Meng also found him, they found that Shi Lang had become rather ethereal in terms of his temperament.

The little spirit birds in the garden would now gather around him when he studied and sometimes when he was meditating the entire pavilion would be surrounded by the birds and rabbits as if they were his divine guards.

This was a shocking transformation because earlier, Shi Lang would radiate a strong battle ready aura in the surroundings. He was calm for most of the time, and while it didn't harm the people around him, it was not exactly welcoming for the spirit beasts.

They could not understand what was going on, but one thing that the elders have perceived from this change was that Shi Lang was now capable of adjusting his own Dao Fluctuations and become one with the nature to some extent.

The Great Dao originated from the nature around them, but at the same time, becoming one with the nature was more difficult than anything else. Shi Lang was able to achieve this to some extent meant that he had made significant progress on the cultivation thoughts that he was comprehending.

Tian Long wanted to approach him but Raksha appeared before him outside the courtyard and said, "Little Dragon, go back, now is not the time."

Tian Long raised his brow and asked, "Why do you say that?"

Raksha replied, "Because Shi Lang is holding onto a rather strange feeling at the moment and he cannot be disturbed. He is close to the assimilation of the man and heaven state but it is also very far. Don't disturb him."

Tian Long opened his eyes wide and asked, "That man is going through an enlightenment? For this long?"

Raksha nodded and replied, "He has been forcefully holding onto that feeling by focusing his entire brain towards this particular thought."

Tian Long frowned and said, "This is bad, if he forces himself to go through this, he would suffer a backlash."

Raksha nodded and said, "Don't worry, he will be fine. He is way more meticulous than you think of him."

Tian Long shivered and said, "Do you two know that this is akin to a slow suicide? Has he never learned anything even after all these years as a cultivator? The human body cannot tolerate the rhythm of the heaven and earth resonance for a prolonged period of time because we are that fragile. His body will scatter into dust along with his soul if it keeps on."

Raksha sighed and replied, "I know what you mean but none could shake his resolve. You understand that, right? All we can do is wait and let him go on till he either reaches his limit or pushes it further."

Tian Ling clenched his fist, a subtle hint of flame appeared around him and he said, "Fine, since he wishes to court death then you better tell him to stay alive. If he died because of his foolishness, then I will find his soul in the underworld and bring it back and stuff it in the body of a donkey and beat him for all eternity."

Raksha sighed and sent him off, she didn't have the time to tell Tian Long that Shi Lang was actually reaching the threshold and now his body has not only been tempered again, but also gained the method to change his Dao Resonance as well. She sighed and turned inside the courtyard to see the young man sitting in the pavilion with his eyes closed and spiritual energy vibrating around him.

Shi Lang was clueless that Tian Long was this worried about his welfare, and continued toiling the path that laid ahead of him. His thoughts were moving at a really fast speed, and he was growing stronger with every passing moment.

The amount of data that he was swallowing was so high that it seemed as if he was moving at a turtle's pace. Shi Lang didn't have the trouble with the passing of time. His secret weapon the laws of time have been growing stronger these days as well. The fundamentals of Dao Resonance made him scratch on a deeper level of how Time Laws work.

While he was focusing on the path of seeking the Dao Resonance, he was also comprehending a lot of other things on the side, but the process was not cyclic. He would pursue the thoughts that were originating from new inspirations and this was why he was slowing down.

His process was correct, but it made the other people think that he was forcing himself to resonate with the heaven and the earth. Shi Lang was a pioneer and while he was standing in the lead, he was obviously slower than the rest of the people as he had to be cautious about his moves.

With this in mind, Shi Lang took his strides forward. At the same time, the people from the various factions of humanity were also armoring themselves with skills and strength to face off against the probable dangers in the myriad worlds.

While they had allied with a few races, they were no longer going to trust someone completely because if things reached the level where survival of a race became questionable, the allied races will throw them all under the bus in a blink. This was something that they have all learned through hard lessons.

Shi Lang didn't school these undying old relics about how the world works, because if they believed that the world was a place with rainbows and cookies than they were better off dying than dragging their entire race into the grave. Shi Lang was merciless with all the people around him because he understood that the more he cried during training, the less they would bleed in battle.

Amelia was also finishing her cultivation by merging her Dao Tree with her body she had finished consolidating her foundation and so when she came out of her seclusion, she went to meet Shi Lang first. She found that the Terran was sitting under the pavilion and the five elements of the nature were in complete harmony around him. She had no idea what was going on here, but she was shocked.

She approached Shi Lang and the Terran smiled at her before he asked, "How have you been?"

Amelia looked at him and sat down next to him before he said, "What is going on with your aura?"

Amelia was shocked and she opened her eyes wide and Shi Lang asked again, "How did you know?"

This made the lady flinch and Shi Lang turned his head to look away from her as he said, "This is the second stage of seeking the path of Dao. I can guess what you are thinking by sensing the fluctuation of your Dao Runes. The brain of a human being has neurons and they are all engraved with Dao Runes, and thus when someone is thinking, they emit miniscule Dao Fluctuations, and after all this time of studying all these things I can see those fluctuations."

Amelia was shocked and asked, "Does that mean you have reached the peak of Dao Seeker Realm?"

Shi Lang shook his head and replied, "The Seeker realm is not a typical realm, it is just a stage of the Saint realm that was created by the people to break down the various things that a saint is capable of. The level I have reached is somewhat advanced, and usually just being able to guess how the people attack is considered to be peak of a seeker in various races. However, only a handful of races would spend time and effort to raise the power to seek to this level."

Amelia nodded and Shi Lang said, "The seekers in the Jewel Eye Race, who have reached the same level as me are often diplomats serving beside the royals to make sure that they can detect if the opposite party contains malice or not. However, their techniques can be bypassed because they focus too much on the vibration of the soul energy and if the person is wearing a treasure that hides this vibration, they are going to be defeated."

That was it, and Amelia understood what Shi Lang did, he was focusing on the fundamental vibration of the human body, every race in the myriad worlds had a brain and neurons inside them, unless they are cosmic phantoms or something like that, he could handle their resonance with ease now.

The terran raised his hand and tapped Amelia's brow as he said, "I have imparted you with my comprehensions of this realm. I want to sleep a little because in all these years, my brain has been working over time and now I am tired."

Amelia nodded and patted her thighs as Shi Lang smiled at her. He leaned in to kiss her and then gently lay his head in her lap. Amelia caressed his head gently and when he fell in deep sleep she used her communicator to transmit the information to Shi Tao and the courtyard was sealed.

Raksha appeared next to Amelia and sighed, as she asked, "Is he okay? I sense his soul very faintly."

Amelia nodded and reassured her of what was going on before she said, "I will need you to guard him because this is the first time in ages since he has really let his guard down."

Raksha nodded and after a few minutes she asked, "Can you tell me what has gotten him so tightly wound? Is this not just the comprehension of a realm?"

Amelia shook her head and replied, "No, it is not that. The truth is that he is wary of the Realm Lord, because that man can try to attack me. My physique, is special and if someone like the Realm Lord got the whiff of that, I might end up becoming his elixir."

Raksha sighed and said, "Is this why you are sealing almost all your power, and choosing just one element?"

Amelia nodded and replied, "Lang had learned the world seals from his time in the Heavenly Dao Temple, my cave abode is covered with them and so is the jewelry on my body. Even if the Realm Lord stands before us he would not be able to sense a difference but we can never be too cocky about it, and he is just stressed by that. You know how wary he gets when it is about his enemies."

Raksha nodded and said, "Well, don't worry, it would be fine."

Amelia nodded and patted Shi Lang's head gently as the Terran, snored faintly. The tension that has been bothering him was now slowly dissolving.
