Ace Of Terrans-Chapter 1139: Cleansing Evil.
Shi Lang slept without a care in the world, and Amelia kept sitting with his head in her lap. She didn't find it tiring at all, after all, the man had been over exerting himself all this while. After a month of deep sleep, Shi Lang woke up and opened his eyes drowsily. He looked around and when he found Amelia looking at him. He simply leaned in to rest his head on her shoulder.
He took a deep breath and asked in a hoarse voice, "How long have I been out for?"
Amelia smiled faintly as she said, "About a month."
Shi Lang nodded and asked, "Did anything big happen?"
Amelia shook her head and said, "I don't know, I have been staying here only. Tao will be coming over in a few minutes, then you can ask her."
Shi Lang nodded and snoozed on her shoulder as his hair fell over his face. Amelia asked, "Have you stabilized your realm?"
Shi Lang nodded and said, "Yes, the way this world works is fascinating."
Amelia looked at him and smiled faintly, and just then a Shi Tao appeared outside the pavilion and when she looked at the couple on the floor, she sighed before she came over to sit beside him, and asked, "Baba, we need you."
Shi Lang opened his eyes and sat up straight as he beckoned Shi Tao to come over. The girl sat down next to him and the young man seemed to reach out for her, and then Shi Tao, who was looking tired suddenly her aura changed. It was as if the bottleneck that she was unable to overcome had loosened.
Shi Tao opened her eyes wide and Shi Lang said, "Meditate here, I will go and handle the situation."
Amelia was surprised by his sudden action and when she looked at Shi Tao, the latter was even more shocked. She quickly closed her eyes and began to cultivate. Amelia followed Shi Lang was he was walking out of the pavilion, but as she noticed him, she found that she could not sense him using her spiritual sense. Had it not been for the fact that he was in front of her eyes, she would have failed to notice him.
The aura that he was emitting was very much in sync with the nature, it was as if he was a floating flower petal. Amelia was once again shocked at how strong Shi Lang became this time. She had a special physique and so this aura came innately to her, but for Shi Lang to achieve this, it was going to make him a monster that even she might not be able to contend with.
Shi Lang arrived at the control room, and none of the people seemed to have noticed him until he spoke up and asked them for various questions about the situations. It turned out that many of the elders have been trying to advance and they were seeking of methods to numb the pain that they faced during the Acoylte stage.
Some of them have strayed from their path of cultivation and they have sinned against the human race in their hunger for power, such as experimenting with young cultivators. Shi Lang looked at Ye Xeidi who said, "We tried to apprehend these people, but they are too strong for us to handle and the elders on our side are too unaware of what they can do with their power and so they are contemplating who should go."
Shi Lang grabbed the void and said, "I am going, tell these chickens to be ready, I will spar with them when I come back."
Raksha materialized in his grip as he vanished from the place. The people sighed, although they didn't feel much pressure, but they could tell, Shi Lang was angry. Well, he had just woken up and to face this kind of a situation where the elders of the Asura Hall were busy contemplating while people died, how could he not be angry?
Hao Mei appeared in the hall, and asked, "Who was the one who suggested this contemplation?"
Yu Xeidi spat on the ground and said, "That guest elder from the Medicine Valley of the South. He was the one who started it, the rest of the elders are weaker then him and so they heeded the call, the Primus have not yet emerged from the seclusion."
The Primus in her mouth were the big shots of the Asura Hall, after them, although Hao Mei and the rest held the highest authority but their strength was not yet the highest to command the elders. These elder council was made up of many people, who have gained the membership through their effort have now begun acting like they owned the Asura Hall.
Yu Xeidi hated them for this, these people always tried to manipulate the rest of the Asura Hall and gain power. Now, with Tian Long and the rest in seclusion things were not looking good either. Amelia was strong but she refrained from taking action because if she were to show her full potential and end up alerting the spies of the Realm Lord, it wouldn't end up good.
Amelia was standing in the control room as well, and after listening to the people, she said, "Seal the discussion hall, and make sure that none of the elders go out of that place. Have them wait for what they have incurred."
…
Shi Lang traveled through the void, hsi face was calm but with every passing moment his hair were turning crimson. Raksha in his hand was shivering, not out of fear but excitement, it had been ages since Shi Lang held her and that too with the intention to kill this strong.
He flew through the void at a speed that caused even the void to twist behind him. Then he reached the first location that was given to him by the system and he looked around. After becoming a seeker, he didn't need to sense things, he could see it all, the dao fluctuation emitted from the body of the objects like it was some threads sticking out of them, and if he forced his concentration even further, the entire landscape would change into a black and golden scenery.
The golden threads would represent the Dao Fluctuations from the surroundings. He could see the changes happening in the surroundings, before he took a deep breath and located the reason behind the turmoil in this part of the world. There was a region of the golden threads that was stained with red.
Shi Lang vanished from his spot and appeared directly above the place and found a deep hole in the earth. He narrowed his gaze and said, "I wonder if the daoist inside would like to come out on his own or shall I really make a move."
None replied, Shi Lang snorted, and held his sword ahead and pointed the tip of the blade towards the hole as he said, "Fine then, you choose it."
He dropped the sword and said, "Go feast."
Raksha emitted a shrill sound before it vanished in the dark hole, and they took a deep breath and replied, "Oh, Lang, thank you, I knew you loved me so much."
The sword spirit had come out of the sheath with one intention, and that was to kill. As she fell in the pit she realized that it was several hundred feet deep. There were many people sitting at the base of the pit. They all had a body as black as ink, and they were completely shriveled up, but in the center of these hundred people sat a robust man. Raksha replied, "Did you really kill all these people to advance on your path of cultivation, Daoist?"
She manifested in her human avatar form and her voice was nothing short of a divine whisper that attracted the souls of many and trapped them in her allure to give them a swift death. The man in the center opened his eyes and said, "To think that the Shura King would come for me so soon, impressive. May I ask if he has killed anyone else ever since he stepped out of cultivation."
Raksha shook her head with a calm smile and said, "No, he wanted to deal with the small fries first and since you are the smallest fry, he sent me to take you out. Please don't worry, you cannot cause a storm so, killing you is such a thankless job that it fell upon me and my delicate edge. So, are you ready to die?"
The entire place was filled with a sword intent that caused the corpses to turn to dust directly and the burly man stood up from his spot before he yelled, "You think just a knife can scare me! I will break you and then I will flay that Shura."
Raksha chuckled and began to fight. She didn't even need to exert much effort because she was just that strong, and the fact was that she slowly tortured the evil Daoist and refined his blood essence slowly agonizing him before she attacked his immortal soul and scattered it to the void. This was just the beginning, there are several others left for Shi Lang to take care of.
