Chapter 566: Chapter 226: The Night Sky is Beautiful Tonight

"There are no outsiders here, so there’s no need to be invisible." Xi Mu chuckled lightly, looking at Yasiraqi approaching. She was dressed in a low-cut red gown, with a sapphire necklace naturally draped over her slender neck, cascading onto her fair chest, dazzling onlookers.

"No outsiders." Yasiraqi smiled coyly, lightly gathering her red hair beside her ear, gazing at Ahtal and asking, "Then what kind of person am I?"

Without waiting for an answer, she turned her gaze toward the Goddess of Salvation. The goddess, tasked with the mission of salvation, was intently staring at the spread of food on the table, but she didn’t eat impolitely; instead, she stood still, maintaining the etiquette of a lady.

"Heh~" Yasiraqi smiled and said to the Goddess of Salvation, "Don’t hold back, eat whatever you want, there are no outsiders here."

"May I?" The Goddess of Salvation’s eyes sparkled, and after glancing at her teacher and receiving an affirmative nod, she began to eat eagerly.

Meanwhile, Jed scratched his cheek, observing the scene. Only the Goddess of Salvation, being newly born, didn’t sense the aggressive atmosphere in the air. Currently, Yasiraqi was fully engaging in an offensive, launching an advance towards Ahtal.

But she didn’t plan to talk much, instead, she walked over to the Goddess of Salvation, guiding her on dining etiquette while explaining how to eat different foods.

Seeing this, Xi Mu shook his head helplessly, then noticed his arm being grasped. Yasiraqi was clinging to him, her body pressed against his, the silky touch and warmth of her gown making him feel as if he was entangled by a persistent snake, winding around him.

He instinctively looked down, just in time to meet Yasiraqi’s uplifted, exquisite face, their gazes overlapping.

From this angle, Yasiraqi resembled a vibrant flower, her pale, almost translucent skin paired with the bright red gown akin to a red rose unfolding at dawn, displaying all the softness of a woman.

"What’s wrong?" Yasiraqi cocked her head slightly, seemingly puzzled by Ahtal’s gaze.

Xi Mu paused for a moment before saying, "You seem a bit different today."

"I show different sides of myself to different people," Yasiraqi replied, entwining Ahtal’s arm and taking a seat at the table.

"Letixia usually handles the socializing for you at this time," Yasiraqi elegantly poured a glass of red wine and handed it to Ahtal, "But she’s not here today."

When she first met Ahtal, she had realized that he was uninterested in socializing, which had always been managed by Letixia, but today, with Letixia not in Sky City, it was up to Ahtal to cope on his own.

"Letixia is studying with the Alchemical Witch," Xi Mu lightly swirled the red wine in his glass, causing the liquid to gently ripple.

"Studying how to master the power of the Sword of Light?" Yasiraqi crossed her long legs, her lower legs in high heels swinging slightly.

She lifted her wine glass to clink with Ahtal’s and, after downing the wine in one gulp, naturally switched the topic to herself.

"Can you sense any change in me?"

"Change?" Xi Mu looked at Yasiraqi with expectant eyes, as if seriously considering it for a moment before replying, "You have used Draconic magic."

"Besides that?" Yasiraqi asked with a smile, prompting Xi Mu to observe the radiant princess again, pretending to ponder seriously for a moment: "You have obviously gained considerable strength."

"That... my lord, I think you might want to notice other aspects," Jed suddenly raised his hand, his expression twisted, feeling helpless at Ahtal’s response. Though she was not skilled in dressing up, even she could feel that Yasiraqi had put a lot of effort into her appearance for this encounter, feeling dazzled by it.

"Other aspects?" Xi Mu scrutinized Yasiraqi closely, his hand on his chin in thought, "Her gaze is still clear of any confusion, her fiery red hair hasn’t faded at all, proud yet still retaining a princess’s gentleness."

He shook his head slightly. "I can’t pinpoint the change, this is really making it difficult for me."

"Is that so?" Yasiraqi smiled, seeing Ahtal feign distress, then reached out to stroke Ahtal’s cheek: "I did notice some slight changes in you."

"What changes?" Xi Mu asked, feeling the sliding touch on his cheek move to his mouth, then rest on his brow.

Yasiraqi withdrew her hand, her voice soft, "Your gaze is noticeably warmer, but your brow is slightly furrowed."

Xi Mu was momentarily stunned, then chuckled, "That’s a very meticulous observation."

"As a princess of Sky City, reading expressions and observing details is a basic skill," Yasiraqi winked, "Do you need me to mention some other changes?"

"Are there any more?" Xi Mu picked up his wine glass, lightly clinking it with Yasiraqi’s and they started chatting.

On the side, Jed witnessed this and quietly took a bite of goose liver. She realized that the two had excellent control over the situation and really didn’t need her to intervene. Her previous thought that Ahtal was unromantic was purely her own assumption.

With this in mind, she turned her attention to the Goddess of Salvation beside her, who was entirely focused on eating, only occasionally shifting her gaze to Ahtal to make sure her teacher hadn’t left before contentedly devouring the table’s offerings, not overthinking like her.
