Chapter 611: Chapter 246: Next Time I Won’t Grant You a New Blessing

"To create a brand-new world at the end of time?" The Goddess of Death furrowed her brow and gazed at Ahtal with a questioning look. "Do you already have a solution for Ragnarok?"

The Witch of Death, hearing this, also directed a curious gaze towards him. She wasn’t surprised that Ahtal might have the capability to resolve the Ragnarok crisis—it was entirely within reason. After all, the current Ahtal could project his existence into the past, so it wasn’t beyond comprehension that he might also have the ability to avert Ragnarok.

"It would be wonderful if there were a solution." The Corpse Witch patted her chest, her sapphire-like eyes brimming with hope. Though she had long come to terms with mentally preparing herself to be reduced to ash by Ahtal, survival was, after all, preferable if it was an option.

"For now, the solution is merely... theoretical." Xi Mu expressed a helpless look as he explained to the gazes fixed upon him, "At the moment, I do not have absolute confidence in resolving the crisis of Ragnarok."

He turned to meet Eden’s gaze.

"Our current plan is to create a relatively stable model of the world in the future, and then for me to bring everything into existence at the end of time."

The Witch of Death nodded and asked the most critical question on her mind. "Is the world created with the power of the King of Ash the world you envision?"

She understood something of the King of Ash’s power. Its essence was the flaws in the world created by the God of Omniscience, which led to the emergence of a corrective mechanism that purged those flaws from the old world, allowing everything to begin anew.

This corrective mechanism was the essence of the King of Ash. It was both the destroyer of the old world and the creator of the new one. Yet the foundational model of the specific world to be created could only originate from the power of the King of Ash.

At present, it appeared to be a power related to flame, as if embodying the Genesis Prologue that Ahtal had woven—a fiery essence dictating the sensations of heat and cold, life and death, and the fundamental order of existence.

But such a world likely wouldn’t align with Ahtal’s expectations.

"That’s why I need to push my own authority beyond the scope of the King of Ash," Xi Mu said, stretching out his hand and spreading his five fingers. "Not to create the world as the King of Ash, but to create it as a player."

The Witch of Death responded with a calm nod and asked, "Have you developed the player authority to an omnipotent level?"

Currently, Ahtal possessed two distinct powers. One was, naturally, the power of the King of Ash. This power represented a fully-formed model of a world—a complete framework of existence. By assuming the role of the King of Ash and mastering its power, one could indeed create a new world.

The other power, however, was unique to Ahtal himself. It represented his personal desires and individuality, embodying the essence of his existence. But this power required Ahtal to refine and cultivate it himself, gradually elevating it to an omnipotent level.

"I will advance the player authority to an omnipotent height as quickly as possible," Xi Mu said with a faint smile. He was confident in achieving this—not out of overconfidence in his Talent but purely because, standing at the level of the King of Ash, it was almost trivial to deduce how to elevate the player authority to an omnipotent state.

"If you wish to advance to an omnipotent level quickly," the Witch of Death interjected, sharing her understanding, "you need to clarify the vision of the world in your heart—the kind of world you wish to see before you."

Her sapphire-blue eyes shone with a serious intent.

"The essence of everyone’s power is their desire. Knowing what the world would look like when your desire is fulfilled is the most critical step towards omnipotence."

The Goddess of Death chuckled softly at these words, casting a sidelong glance at Ahtal. "This man must have already figured out the world he wants to create. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have sought Eden’s assistance." 𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎

The Witch of Death shook her head. "He only wishes to create a more stable world—that doesn’t necessarily mean it is the world he envisions in his heart."

"The Witch of Death knows me well," Xi Mu admitted candidly, then shook his head again. "However, creating a relatively stable world is indeed what I desire in my heart."

The Witch of Death said nothing, simply nodding lightly.

She merely wanted to guide Ahtal toward achieving omnipotence as quickly as possible. What kind of world Ahtal intended to create wasn’t her concern.

Besides, everything discussed was predicated on assumptions. No one could guarantee that Ahtal’s humanity wouldn’t be depleted before reaching omnipotence, nor that he could use the player authority to create a new world in reality.

"Ah, how enviable," the Corpse Witch clapped her hands together, drawing everyone’s attention. "To have the help of the All-Knowing Saintess in deducing the model of the new world, and the personal guidance of the Witch of Death—such privileges are truly one of a kind."

She adjusted the topic casually.

"But what exactly does the All-Knowing Saintess mean by burning the world?"

Eden explained warmly, "If we simply create a brand-new world at the end of time, the history of the past will still exist. If someone disrupts that past, it would inevitably affect the new world."

Her eyelids drooped slightly.

"Preserving the history of the past leaves glaring flaws, which would render the new world unstable. Should entities like the Time Witch or extraterritorial demons emerge again, the new world would quickly spiral into yet another Ragnarok."

The Corpse Witch instinctively asked, "Can’t we stand at the threshold of world transition and block anyone from peering into the past?"

"It’s possible," Eden answered affirmatively. "But whoever isolates that time period would face the pressure of all who can manipulate time in the future. With time stretching further into the distant future, more and more powerful entities and geniuses will emerge. Sooner or later, they will attempt to breach the wall of time."
