Leo picked up his call, and made the call. Snow picked up almost instantly. She asked, "Love, is it something urgent? I am in the middle of something."

Leo replied while looking at Miss Grisha across from him, and said, "I found Grisha, she is spewing fire, and she wants to meet you within an hour, or she wouldn't help me in the thing I need her to do."

Snow sighed, and said, "I will come over in forty minutes?"

Before Leo could confirm it, Grisha reached out and snatched the phone from his hand, her speed was so fast that even Leo couldn't react. She spoke on the phone, "Marlins, you better get here within thirty minutes or I will hold a press conference and tell them how you broke my heart, you mean woman."

Snow sighed exasperatedly, "Ugh, you drama queen, fine, thirty minutes, but let me finish this meeting now."

Grisha smiled and Leo snatched his phone back as he gazed at her with cold eyes. He said, "Miss Grisha, while I respect you, I would appreciate it if you mind your manners before my daughter. I cannot tolerate anyone who might lead her astray, so don't curse before her, and don't make over the top statements."

Grisha furrowed and asked, "Why do you say so? What is wrong in what I say?"

Leo stood up and fastened the buttons of his coat as he said, "Imagine if a four year old is talking the way you do, would the other children like her? Would the parents of the other children like her? I don't wish for her to become a target whenever she steps out. Children are like mirrors. They reflect what they see, if they see something stupid, they would reflect something stupid. Also, this reminder is not for you to not spoil her, but for you to be cautious, my little one is a bit blunt and if you act like a person with low intellect, she might look down on you."

That said, he turned around and said, "See you in half an hour."

Then he left the room with swagger. This woman had always acted uncaring and flamboyant before him, something that he hated, and he didn't mind telling Lily to teach this fellow a thing or two.

He walked out of the shop and headed to the car, while Miss Grisha clenched her fists and mumbled, "What does this guy think of himself? First he stole my sister, and now threatening me with my niece? Hmph, wait and see how I deal with you."

As she was smoldering with rage, Leo reached the school, he picked up the little girl in his arms, and Lily said, "Baba, see this."

She showed him a tulip lapel pin and Leo asked, "Love, what is this and where did you get it from?"

Lily raised her chin a little and she took out a small dairy from the school bag and gave it to Leo, who looked at the last recorded page. This was the diary in which Miss Verse added remarks and homework for her.

On the last page it was written with red pen, that because of her outstanding performance in the class, and her amicable behavior with all the students as well, she had been selected as the class leader.

The tulip lapel pin was the symbol of the class leader. Leo smiled widely, he was so happy as if his company had achieved the peak in the world and he said, "Congratulations my darling, keep up the good work! Shall we go and grab some ice cream?"

Lily nodded and said, "Baba, thank you."

Leo couldn't help but reach out and cup her chubby face in his palms and gently squeeze them a bit before he pecked her nose and they rode away to the ice cream shop.

When they came out, Leo said, "Lily, we are going to meet an old friend of your Ma, so, later on be respectful to her, and also call her Auntie. Okay?"

Lily nodded and asked, "I will be a good girl, Baba."

Leo patted her head with a smile and said, "If you find anything strange about her, feel free to say it to your mother."

Lily frowned and asked, "What if she didn't like it?"

Leo shook his head and replied, "I have already told her that if she thinks my baby is a dull toddler then she would be surprised about it."

The little girl nodded and soon they reached the storefront. Leo helped Lily out of the car, and Zeenat and Kyle also came to the gates where they found Axel and another guard standing by. The two nodded to their counterparts while they bowed to Leo.

The young man replied with a smile and Lily also greeted them with the pronoun, Uncle. Her voice was akin to the best reward in the world, their tired faces rejuvenated in a blink.

Leo shook his head as he could never understand what sort of potion his daughter fed to these hard-iron men to smile and adore her so much. They came to the door of the room where Grisha had taken Leo earlier, and the young man knocked on it.

A calm voice sounded, "Come in."

Leo pushed open the door, and then said, "After you, Your Highness."

Lily giggled and said, "Thank you for the courtesy, My Lord."

Leo chuckled as they both entered the room.

Grisha looked at the two people, one small and one tall, entering the room, and she mumbled, "Snow, are the two of them always like this?"

Marian looked at Snow in doubt, and just when she was about to ask something, Lily dashed over to Snow, and climbed in her lap as she embraced her, "Ma, see what did I get."

She leaned back and Snow supported her back with her hand. Snow was wearing a pearl white business suit and she looked very sophisticated, however, this epitome of a hygiene lover person didn't mind the shoe marks on her thighs, made by the excited Lily.

The lapel pin was quickly spotted, and then Lily had her attendant, Mister Cardinal to sing her praises and Snow chuckled amusedly when she looked at the duo working in sync, before she kissed Lily and asked, "Do you want ice cream?"

Lily sighed and said, "Baba already got me one, he knows you don't like it much so we went by ourselves, but can you make me pancakes when we get home? I love the pancakes you make, Ma."

Snow smiled and embraced her daughter as she said, "Yes, I will get you the pancakes."

Then she saw a pair of resentful and envious eyes pointed at her as she said, "Love, this is Marian Grisha, she is your mother's best friend."

Marian looked at Snow and said, "Am I? Is that why you vanished for almost four years?"

Lily frowned and said, "Auntie, Ma didn't vanish, she just didn't want to trouble anyone. Everyone has their own way of handling trouble."

Marian was taken aback upon the quick retort, she had never been scolded like this and not by a child at that. She sighed and said, "Well, my dear, I am aware, it's just that I missed her, after all, she is my only friend till date."

Lily nodded and she said, "Adults are so complicated, all the time they say learn to let go, but in the end they tie themselves down to someone and forget that life is a river that never stops."

It was as if someone slammed the door in her face. Marian Grisha was aghast, then she looked at Leo, who was leaning against the wall in the distance, and then at Snow, who shrugged her shoulders.

Leo said, "Confessions begets leniency, while denial brings wrath."

Mairan was about to spit fire when Lily said, "Those you make mistakes are the ignorant, and those who repeat the mistake are the shamed."

Marian was stunned, Snow said, "They both love preaching Philosophies from a book called the truths of life."

The former nodded and said, "It is actually good, I have learned a lot today. I didn't expect that Lily would be so smart."

Lily smiled and said, "Thank you auntie."

Yes, this little one was easy to please. Marian chuckled at her smile and said, "Lily, I have a gift for you, would you like to see it?"

Lily looked at Leo who nodded and said, "This auntie is very rich, you should take two."

Snow glared at him and Leo waved his hand, while Marian smiled beautifully, and said, "Yes, I will take you to get two. Come with me."

Leo said, "If you are going out of the store, Zeenat and Kyle will follow you, I hope you don't mind that."

Marian was surprised but realizing how they both worried about the people who held ill-will against them, she nodded and they went out of the store while Snow and Leo waited inside her office.
