Ruler's Awakening: Inheritor of the SSS-Rank Dimensional Talent-Chapter 315: Old Friends Reunion
12 hours passed in the Dark Dimension. Aaron opened his eyes and watched as the time showed almost half past three in the afternoon.
He got up from his cross-legged position and stepped forward. His hands swung to the side, opening a dimensional crack that led directly to the front gate of the London Academy of Magic.
Once fully open, Aaron stepped in and disappeared into the dimensional rift. Elsewhere, the dimensional rift reappeared for a second time in front of the academy gates.
The incident surprised the two guards, given that the shift change had already taken place, so they didn't know anything about the dimensional rift.
Aaron stepped outside and saw some of the academy students stepping out of the area, while others chose to stay in the academy dormitory that had been provided.
"There he is," said Erin, who had been waiting for half an hour at the front gate.
"How about that? Can I meet him?" asked Aaron.
"Sure. Head Instructor Jackson has been waiting for you in his office," Erin replied.
Erin kindly escorted Aaron away from the front gate and into the academy building.
Aaron's appearance seemed to attract the attention of several students, especially his long black hair, which gave him a mysterious air.
"I'm sorry I don't recognize you. You are indeed one of the academy students," Erin replied, apologetically.
"If I may ask, how did you get out of the Dark Pillar Tower? What was it really like?" Erin asked.
The woman was trying to get valuable information from Aaron, because Aaron was the first person in hundreds of years to successfully escape from the Dark Pillar Tower.
However, Aaron did not respond. He preferred to remain silent and let Erin continue to walk, guiding her to Jackson's study. Erin pouted, she saw how ignorant Aaron was that he was reluctant to pay attention to her.
They arrived in front of Jackson's study. When the door opened, Erin was shocked to realize that the Head of the Academy and three academy elders were in the room. They were deliberately brought in by Jackson to meet Aaron.
"Oh, so you are Aaron Lewis?" asked the head of the academy, Solomon.
Jackson smiled broadly, leaving his desk to approach Aaron. He hugged Aaron tightly, Aaron hugged him back while asking how the man was doing.
"I'm good, where have you been? Are you okay? You look different," Jackson said enthusiastically.
"Being in the Dark Pillar Tower is not easy, I almost died there several times," Aaron replied.
"So, what Jackson said was true. You made it out of the Dark Pillar Tower," said Solomon, distracting Aaron's attention.
Aaron just nodded, then went back to asking Jackson other things, about his house and the condition of his other friends, like Elise and Natasha.
Jackson was happy to explain everything in detail to Aaron. However, Jackson asked Aaron to tell him and Solomon everything about what was in the Dark Pillar Tower.
"I'll tell you, but not in detail. Even if I explain, you may not understand," Aaron replied.
"Don't worry, Aaron. We will try to understand as best we can," said Solomon.
Through Aaron's eyes, he could clearly see that Solomon's mage tier was in Great Sage, higher than anyone else there except Aaron.
Aaron began to explain in general what the Dark Pillar Tower was and how to get out of it. They listened, the academy elders took note of what Aaron said, which shocked them.
"So, how many mages are trapped there?" asked Solomon.
"I don't know for sure, but there are millions of them."
"This explains why some mages mysteriously disappeared in the Earth Core Pillar maze. Their friends revealed the same thing, the appearance of a purple light," replied one of the academy elders.
"If you managed to get out of there, that means—"
"I am the Dark Ruler, my mage tier is at the top," Aaron interrupted, looking at one of the academy elders who was asking a question.
"A Great Ruler! I didn't expect to meet a Great Ruler," he replied enthusiastically.
Jackson was simply amazed, as was Erin. They both did not expect that Aaron had reached the Great Ruler mage tier, something equivalent to the mage ruler on Earth.
Even so, Aaron did not show it explicitly and he was also reluctant to do so. There was no point in showing off his abilities and titles. That would only threaten his life.
Aaron explained again about the inhabitants of the Dark Pillar Tower, which consisted of humans and five main races. Solomon gasped, not knowing anything about it.
"With my abilities, I can move between Earth and the Dark Pillar Tower. If something happens there, I can leave because I am the protector of that place," Aaron said, flatly.
"If Natasha knew about this, she would be very proud of you," Jackson said.
"I can't wait to meet her," Aaron replied, smiling at Jackson.
"Then what is your next destination?" asked Solomon, curiously.
Aaron turned, looking back at Solomon firmly. It was a question that might reveal another side of Aaron, but the man was adamant about not saying it.
"I don't need to tell you that!" Aaron said firmly.
Solomon was silent, the academy elder also stopped writing. In the end, they didn't ask any more questions. They said they were happy to meet Aaron again, and even Solomon openly wanted to challenge Aaron.
Aaron refused again. Exerting even a little power on a Great Sage mage like Solomon would not do him any good. Solomon understood Aaron's decision.
They left Jackson's study, followed by Erin. Now, only Aaron and Jackson were in the room.
"I heard Natasha works at Euronion. Am I right?" Aaron asked, and Jackson nodded.
"That's right. She was the best graduate of class 171, she almost became a member of the Integrity Knight," Jackson replied.
Aaron smiled, stepped to the window and saw several mages training outside of class.
"Natasha is gifted with a unique talent. Her abilities will skyrocket quickly," Aaron replied.
"So, what exactly are your goals after leaving the Dark Pillar Tower, Aaron?" Jackson asked.
Aaron was silent for a moment, then took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. He thought it wouldn't hurt for him to tell Jackson a little about his main goal. 𝚏𝕣𝐞𝗲𝐰𝕖𝐛𝐧𝕠𝕧𝚎𝚕.𝐜𝚘𝗺
"I'm looking for my mother."
"Your mother? Didn't she die in that fire tragedy?" Jackson asked.
"No!"
"She couldn't have died."
"She was captured by a group. I'm currently chasing that group," Aaron replied.
"What group?" Jackson asked.
The man in front of Jackson turned, smiled lightly, and looked at Jackson, "You don't need to know, Jackson."
