Almighty Father System-Chapter 365: International Pressure.

The days passed, Leo held the fort for the night when Snow went to stay with Marian and Cherry for the night. She had taken Lily with herself. Although, Lily didn't want to go, she had no other option because Leo had tasked her to look after her mother in secret. Lily realized the gravity and followed like a spy who was going on an espionage mission.

The two ladies, Marian Grisha and Cherry teased Snow as soon as they started eating, because Lily would pretend to join them but then she would write the things they were eating in her little tablet.

Cherry chuckled and asked, "Little goblin, did your father give you any rewards for watching your mom like this?"

Lily looked at Snow and then shook her head before replying, "I am doing all this out of my own free will. Baba didn't tell me anything."

Cherry rolled her eyes and Marian said, "Cherry, do you still think this little goblin would sale out Leo? Even if you are to tickle her she will not say a word. These two people are so tight bound that it is scary."

Snow nodded with a smile and Lily said, "Aunty, why does it sound like you are just jealous of my Baba?"

Marian was surprised and asked, "Why do you think I would be jealous of that man?"

Lily fell in deep thought and said, "One, he took away your best friend with his charm. Two, he got a beautiful daughter like me. Three, now we have the fabled twin treasures to love and spoil. Four…"

Snow looked at Lily and said, "That's enough."

Marian and Cherry, on the other hand, were shocked, they didn't expect that Lily would unleash such a witty retort. The two of them looked at Snow who shrugged her shoulders and said, "She is yours to handle. As godmothers you both have the right to deal punishment to her if she makes you angry."

Marian looked at Cherry and said, "Cherry, I am pregnant, too much movement is prohibited, I authorize you to catch this little goblin and tickle her."

Cherry saluted the lady and then she rushed over to handle Lily, who dashed around the living room while making fun of the two ladies. Although she was smart and she could have said something rather disrespectful but she knew the limit, because if she were to really say something bad to the elders who loved her and cared for her, even Leo would get upset and angry with her.

Leo was in the mansion and he had made his bed directly inside the baby room where he was reading Julian and Elena a story from a book, just then Alpha said, "Sir, CEO Hibiscal is looking for you rather urgently. She has sent several texts."

Leo frowned and looking at the time on the watch, he asked, "Any idea what it could be?"

Alpha thought for a few moments and said, "Sir, it could be multiple factors. One of them is the development of the space elevator, and the second is the secret project that you kick started. These could be the reasons that she might be looking for you."

Leo thought for a bit and then he said, "I will give her a call, keep an eye on these two."

Then he went to his study and called Percie, as soon as the call connected, Percie Hibiscal said, "Sir, there has been a situation, many people in the western nations are saying that the space elevator project is dangerous and that it can cost a lot of lives. They have even driven the public opinion that we should let them help us. The PR team is doing all they can but their hands are full with the robots project. What shall I do?"

Leo sighed and said, "This should have been a low level situation and yet you are panicking this much? However, I understand that for the past few months you've had your hands full. So, how about this, you can announce to the western world that since the Cardinal Group and the Butterfly technology is unsafe and that we are way over in our heads, we have decided to pause all business ventures in the western portion of the world.

As for the Public opinion, manage the Clover Nation people to support us, as for the rest of the world, let them eat the dog biscuits if they wish to. The project we have started, has been given the green flag from the government and we are making the space elevator inside the borders of the Clover Nation. They have no business with it. Is that clear?"

Percie was not too surprised, Leo had always been adamant in dealing with those who cause him trouble. His actions have never left any room of maneuver for the enemy and the rivals.

Then she said, "Someone sent a few threat letters to the staff involved in the Space Elevator project."

Leo frowned and then he said, "I will look into that and have the people handle it."

Then the call was disconnected, he was aware something like this could happen way back when the lab had discovered Graphene and managed to develop it to the standard where it could boost the industrial growth.

He called Markus and as soon as the latter picked up the call, he said, "Markus, I want you to call your men and check on the matter of the threat letters. I am sure that you have gotten the news by now."

Markus replied, "Yes, Sir. It was my mistake to be gentle and easy going in this situation. I would handle it right away."

Leo nodded and then disconnected the call before he went to the baby room and sprawled on the mattress on the floor. Alpha looked at him and then turned his head to the side to continue monitoring the two children.

The next day, Cardinal Group announced that it would be holding back on providing the people with its products as they were going under quality check and have found some difficulties, and all the products were released in the native market. The people were shocked that Leo would do something like this.

Leo didn't give a damn about what these people were thinking about him. All he wanted was for them to see how quickly the Clover Nation was changing. Many nations realized their mistakes and sent their ambassadors to directly talk with CEO Hibiscal but they only received a cold shower on their faces, when Percie said that the project was to be handled in coordination to the government and she had no right to negotiate things.

As for the official who had authority, he was sick and had gone on a long leave, without any news about him, apart from his name. The people were going crazy, and I was just one night, and they could not handle the pressure from their superiors. Finally, a general in the Eagle Country office, said, "I am going to meet the president."

Then he came out of the office, to meet with the General, and asked, "What can you do about this situation?"

The general said, "We can send the special forces and the Alpha team to strike them down. Take down the research center and then the data would be ours."

The president of the Eagle Nation sat their with a somber face and asked, "Is it that easy to barge in there?" 𝘧𝘳𝘦ℯ𝓌𝘦𝒷𝘯𝑜𝑣𝘦𝓁.𝒸𝘰𝓂

The general nodded and said, "We have been eyeing that research center for a long time and it is time that we make a move. Leo Cardinal is a Sigil Master, and while it may seem that he has no protection there is a strong cordon around him and his family. So, we need to be meticulous. Since all the tech he is using comes from the research center, we will target that place and the people there directly."

Some people frowned and the director of the intelligence department said, "Mister President, shall we try to make a move against those researchers and see if they willingly come over?"

The president waved his hand and dismissed the idea before he said, "Are you people not cooperating with each other? Leo Cardinal has brought the family members and the close ones of those researchers and given them a prosperous environment to live and grow in the the Clover nation. We cannot wait any longer, the Space Organization has told me that they could finish the space elevator within this year and if they did, it would be a drastic blow for us. We cannot have them piss all over us.

General Hardy, go and collaborate with the people of the alliance and then bring me that fucking data. I want it all by the end of this week. Is that clear?"

The man nodded and replied with a crisp salute, "Sir, I assure you that it would be sorted within a week and you will like the result."
