Almighty Father System-Chapter 377: Saving Daddy.

Leo had taken the formula that was given to him by the system and committed them to his memory. The information given by the system worked like a file system. Leo could open it when he wanted to look for it.

He was leaning in the chair of his study with Julian in his arms. The little guy was sleeping after acting like a terror the entire night. Leo was using his free hand to look through the reports of the various projects, and was clicking them off in approval. Snow was going to join the office again after a few days, and so she was busy with the preparations.

Leo, however, had no intention of stepping back in the office till his children start going to school. As he was reading through the reports, Snow walked in the study with Elena in her arms and she said, "You still have the heart to work? Look at the dark circles under your eyes."

Leo shook his head slightly as he said, "It's okay, nothing is wrong in staying up for a night. I will go to bed in the noon."

Snow shook her head and said, "Give him to me, go and take a shower before you sleep. Stop looking at the reports."

The young man sighed, he saw her serious expression and knew that it was impossible to push this away, he stood up, handed the sleeping child to Snow as the young lady carried the two back to their rooms, before Leo went to take a shower, and then he lay down in the bed.

In his mind however, he was using the virtual realm to follow the formula and stimulate to conduct experiments. The procedure was new to him and he was suffering from failures in many things but Leo was still learning these things on a rather fast pace. After the first potion was prepared, he conducted a test on a small mice.

This was a rather cruel conduct in his mind, but this was how science has moved on at earth and he couldn't think of any other stimulation for this particular thing. The test results were out rather quickly, the mouse had died. The data showed that the formula was wrong because Leo messed up.

The experiments continued till Leo got things right and finally when he did, the outcome shocked him to the core. The mouse inside the cage had transformed into an evolved creature. It was stronger, faster and much more intelligent. Leo thought about the possibility of this growth in an already strong human species, and the results scared him.

What would happen if this formula could alter the trajectory of the human race, and if it were to fall in hands of those who wished nothing more than chaos, the entire planet might be doomed. He had no idea what to do with this thing anymore. All the plans that he had earlier were scrapped.

While he was debating within himself, he came out of the simulation realm and began to discuss this with the system, 'System, can you tell me what is this thing actually? I conducted the experiment and the possibilities that come along with it are shocking.'

The system replied, 'Ping: Host, I can tell you that the formula we have acquired is a genetic potion. It can increase a lot of things when given to a human. The people who visited the planet used this potion to create a race of evolved creatures, and eventually humanity also gained from their blessings.

The goddess of mercy is likely to be the survivor of that alien race who came over with the abundance of knowledge from her world to either find refuge or to conquer this world. I have no idea if that person is still living somewhere, after all, the world is just that big. However, one thing that could be confirmed is that the person left this knowledge behind deliberately.'

Leo was stunned and asked, "System, did you pick up anything from the hall?"

'Ping: Host, you have guessed it correctly, I have picked up some shallow traces of glyphs that were engraved on the walls of the hall, but they have faded away by the deterioration over the time. One thing that I picked up was a mention of how the people of the world shall stay aware of the dangers hidden in the sea of stars. I am not sure as to what the specific meaning behind this sentence is.'

Leo shivered in the bed, as he sat up and thought, 'It means that there is a big chance of space invasion?'

The system didn't confirm his doubts and nor did it deny them. This was a possibility and a big possibility at that. Leo thought about it and decided that he would be using the best of his resources towards the development of weapons and space travel. He was not driven by the desire of protecting the world. He just wanted to protect his family and friends and for that he was willing to go do anything.

For his family, Leo was willing to become a god and a demon, so becoming a pioneer was no big deal. He stood up from his bed and went to the study again. However, before he could even operate his Computer, he was caught by his eldest who was gazing at him with narrowed eyes.

Leo was amused and asked, "LIttle Goblin what are you looking at me with that expression for?"

Lily put her hands across her chest and tilted to the side a little before she said, "Ma told me to keep an eye on you. She said that you have been sneaking over to the study room and playing games on your computer. This is bad habit and you are damaging your eyes. Now, Baba, I have two options for you."

Leo was surprised at first and then he wanted to cry, because this pair of mother and daughter had began to rebel against him. The daughter called him jobless while his wife accused him of playing video games. How was he going to maintain his dignity?

He still asked, "What are these options, baby?"

Lily nodded and said, "One is that you go to bed right away. Second is that I call Ma over and she will handle you. Believe me, she is the mood to ground you."

Leo sighed, and rubbed his forehead before he said, "Fine, I will go to bed, but can I leave a message for the science team?"

Lily shook her head and replied, "You can do that after you have caught on your sleep."

Leo sighed in defeat, he had no other options but to get up and go to bed, and it was not like the space invasion was happening around the corner. Also, just now he was very panicked and thus almost commited a great mistake. He wanted to release the formula to the people of the science team and have them create things directly.

However, that would have raised a lot of questions, and thinking of Lily's act as divine intervention, Leo returned to his bed and was about to lay down and think of a plan when he saw Lily getting under the covers as well. He asked, "Baby, are you taking your day nap with Baba?"

Lily nodded and said, "I am doing this to keep an eye on you, Baba. Ma will not scold Lily this way."

Leo chuckled, this little goblin was a menace to people but at home, she was even more docile and gentle than Momo. Leo lay down, and Lily crawled over to lay on his stomach, and hug him like a koala as she closed her eyes to sleep.

She missed Leo and his company, but she was sensible to know that Leo was busy handling the younger ones and never complained about things. Leo patted her back gently and gradually she fell asleep. Leo was also drowsy, he was fine when he was alone but laying in the bed with a plush toy on top, he was allured to sleep by the comfort.

As he fell asleep, he didn't realize that Snow came over to check on him as she peeked from the doorsill. She sighed as she saw him sleeping and went back down stairs and found Anastasia looking at her from the side. She blushed a little and then with a calm expression she said, "Why are you gazing at me like that Ma? Leo had been awake for the past two nights like this. Julian doesn't sleep and then he awakens Elle as well. If this continued, Leo would fall sick."

Anastasia shrugged her shoulders and said, "I didn't say anything love. It is good that you are worried about him. if not you, who would look after him?"

She wanted to rebuke the young lady initially but then she stopped after listening to the last part. Leo being sick was something they didn't even dare to imagine. After all, everything they have now was no less than a miracle.
