Almighty Father System-Chapter 392: The Gift.

The world was shocked with the sudden shock from the sudden news of the Sovereign's demise. When the people in the shadow were still reeling in from the shock of the news, and trying to think of a contingency plan, the palace media secretary, who was under Leo's command, stepped up and spoke while addressing the nation.

This whole thing was enacted within an hour. The people in power, specially the elites of the Morning Star Tower were enraged. They were not fools, they knew someone was pulling the strings. They had investigated all the people and found traces of a external intervention but they could not find out who was it.

They could not make any move against the First Prince and his family, because he had already been declared the regent and the successor to the throne. After the funeral of the late Sovereign, he would be crowned King.

Not only that, Leo had decided to make him the most loved Monarch in the modern times and the First Prince only has to follow the arrangement. Leo didn't want to be the string puller, but he was going to need a sturdy and astute shoulder to clean up the Stag Nation. For this who would fit better than the new monarch?

Leo watched the hustle and bustle exploding on the news and the monitoring system, before he headed out to pick up Lily and then go back home. The company was processing rather nicely and nation supported them, even after the fiasco of the Aries family, it didn't effect the Cardinal Family much.

In the mansion, Lily was practicing the Piano as tomorrow happened to be the day of her practice, and she had already perfected her new score. It had been three days since the death of King Damon, and the First prince was crowned King just a couple of hours ago, and now was the time for his first address.

Leo went inside his study, he had Markus deliver a sealed drive hidden in a condolence bouquets, that the First Prince was instructed to bring back home as they were his late father's favorite flowers. This whole thing appeared to be random, but it was all planned by Leo and Alpha.

Yes, Alpha was now using his full capacity to deal with things like this. Leo had given him access to the super server in his office to stimulate all the foreseeable possibilities. Because the robots had a data model that helped them all improve daily by interpreting the human behavior.

Although these readings had no picture or name, but it was all code, and the customers were aware of this. So, they were able to predict how a human would think or act in sudden situations, and the data revealed a strikingly different range of actions by different people.

The King had taken the name of Avalon to rule, his new name was Avalon Elliot Stag. So King Avalon came up to stand in the royal balcony under the protection of his armed guards and looked at the people who were screaming, "Long Live, Long Live."

He took a deep breath and raised his hand, and the crowd fell silent. King Avalon said, "In the time of sorrow, you shared our pain and we are grateful for that. Thank you, for being here with us."

He had taken no speech and was free handing the whole thing. He paused and then continued, "As the successor, I am young. The predecessors have left a long and deep legacy behind to learn from and I will do my best to learn from their actions and rise to a new level. I seek your support in my actions as your Monarch.

When I was young I read many legends where the New King would give out a gift to the populace. In this day and age, the best gift that I can give you is safety. Safety and security are not just words but they are a factor that decide the trajectory and prosperity of the nation. However, sometimes to survive the storm we would need to face it. So, I hope that in the future, today would be remembered as the day where the prosperity and the purpose of the Stag Nation entered a period of glorious restoration.

As for the gift, it has already been delivered and you will see it in a few moments. I hope you all like it well."

That said, King Avalon walked away amidst the cheers, although his speech confused the people, they all loved him. They thought it was because the man had just lost his father and was feeling humanly vulnerable. This fragility of his character made people relate to him even better.

However, after two hours, a bomb was dropped in the country.

Many people were reportedly arrested from many government organizations, and many of rich elites were also taken under control. The Royal family powers that directly bypassed the constitution was displayed. While the countrymen thought that King Avalon was going crazy, the staggering evidence against these people was aired out in the public like some dirty laundry.

The crowd was shaken, many activists took to the street. The police and even the military forces were deployed to maintain order, but they didn't force the people to leave. The Royal Palace issued a notice, 'Public processions are allowed but we should not create chaos or support acts like looting and arson. This is your nation, and you have the right to express yourselves peacefully.'

This was done by King Avalon himself. He knew that he was being as a mount for Leo, but he also knew that if he managed to sail through this storm, the rise of Stag Nation and the prestige of the royal family would be unblemished and stark like a celestial body.

For this, he even communicated with his second brother and the entire royal family, along with all the extensions that were not corrupt were called upon and the situation began to simmer down. The truth of the evidence, and the quick investigative results made the people believe that the King was right and these elites were far more shady than they speculated.

Leo didn't mind anything, he didn't even check the news and only left Alpha in charge of handling anyone who might try to create trouble for them. He was focused on guiding Lily who was anxious before going to the performance.

She was dressed up and was sitting on the stool before the piano, but she was making a mistake with her notes. Leo sighed as he watched her before he said, "Why are you so worried? IS it because you are doing something new? Or is it because you fear that you will fail?"

Lily looked at Leo with misty eyes. The young man smiled and picked up his eldest in his arms as he said, "When you want to try something new and feel nervous because nobody else has done that, remember that you were not doing it for anyone else. You wanted to do it for yourself to fulfil the dream that you had."

Lily asked, "What if I fail? What if I don't win?"

Leo smiled dotingly at the confused and unsure child. It was rare to see Lily like this, Leo said, "You know failure is not to be feared, many great people failed in the first attempt but they learned and kept on trying and then they rose above everyone else."

Lily nodded but her gaze that has recovered some confidence was still a little unsure. Snow walked up to them and fixed her hair gently before she said, "You little goblin, you are just five years old and what you are doing is something not even those old people have ever done in their lives. So be brave. You are Lily Valeria Cardinal, get a grip of yourself."

Leo smiled and nodded before he pecked her cheek and said, "You will be fine, my love. Don't worry."

Lily nodded and then the trio left the house. Anastasia had decided to stay back with the two young ones, as the auditorium didn't have a private area, and if the children started crying or made an abrupt sound during the performances it would disturb the artist and could be frowned upon by many.

Although Leo could understand the children and calm them in a few seconds, it was still not something that would stop the rest of the people, and if that happened, Leo would go out and shut them up even at the cost of kicking up a storm. Thus, Snow canceled the idea to bring the children along.

When they reached the school auditorium, they were greeted by Miss Verse, who took Lily backstage and Leo gave his daughter a promise, "I don't want you to focus on the winning, I want you to go out and enjoy your performance. If you do that, I will give you a gift like none other."

Lily thought for a bit and gave him a thumbs up before going ahead with Miss Verse. Snow sighed and asked, "What are you going to gift her?"

Leo smiled and said, "That is a surprise."
