Alpha Razor King-Chapter 121: Rogues.
**Isabella**
"Isabella, this isn’t a good idea. Let the warriors handle it," Cross urged.
"I’m sorry, Cross, I can’t do this. I have to go out there. I need to find my baby," I insisted.
"But what about my brother? He’ll be mad," Cross pressed.
"I don’t care about that right now, Cross. I just want to find Nathan and that bitch Kelsey," I snapped back. "I’m going."
"Then I’m coming with you," Cross nodded, his expression firm. "I can’t let you go out there alone."
"Cross?" I questioned, not sure if I wanted him to get involved in this danger.
"No, Isabella. I’m coming with you," he repeated, leaving no room for argument.
"I’m also coming," Lisa announced, stepping forward with determination. Cross and I turned to her, shaking our heads.
"Lisa, I appreciate it, but—"
"I also want to find Nathan," she interrupted, her eyes pleading with us.
"I’m sorry, Lisa, but you’re not even a werewolf," Cross sighed. "Please stay back. It’s too dangerous."
"Yes, Cross is right," I nodded. "You have to stay here and take care of things. We need someone we can trust to keep an eye on everything here."
Lisa looked hurt, but she nodded reluctantly. "Alright. But be careful, both of you. And bring Nathan back safely."
"We will," I promised, giving her a quick hug before turning to Cross. "Let’s go."
We stepped outside where the warriors were waiting for us, their faces determined and ready for action. "Are you ready?" I asked them. They nodded in unison, their eyes reflecting the same urgency and resolve I felt. "Come on," I urged.
We moved swiftly into the woods, the night wind breezing through our skin, carrying the scents of the forest. My senses were heightened, every sound and smell magnified by my desperation to find Nathan. As we pushed deeper into the darkness, the canopy of trees overhead swallowed the moonlight, casting shadows around us.
Suddenly, I stopped in my tracks, my nose twitching as a familiar scent hit me. "I smell him," I whispered, turning wide-eyed to Cross. "I smell Nathan."
Cross’s eyes lit up with hope. "Come on then," I motioned to the rest of the warriors. "Let’s move!"
We began running deeper into the woods, our feet barely touching the ground as we raced toward the scent. The branches and underbrush scratched at our skin, but we paid them no mind. Every second counted.
The scent grew stronger, and with it, my heart pounded harder. We emerged into a small clearing, and there, near the edge, was Kelsey. She was holding a black bag, looking confused l. I felt a surge of anger and fear.
"Kelsey!" I shouted, my voice echoing through the trees.
She whipped around, her eyes wide with panic. "Stay back!" she screamed, but her voice trembled.
"Where’s my son you fucking bitch?" I demanded, stepping forward with a ferocity I didn’t know I possessed.
Kelsey looked around frantically, realizing she was outnumbered. She dropped the bag and raised her hands in surrender. "He’s in the bag. He’s fine, just let me go," she begged.
"You’re not going anywhere," Cross growled, stepping beside me.
I rushed to the bag and unzipped it, my heart pounding in my chest, only to find it empty. The world seemed to stop as I stared at the vacant space where my son should have been. A surge of rage and desperation washed over me. I stood up angrily and marched towards Kelsey, landing a sharp punch on her face.
"Where’s my son, you witch? Give me my son!" I screamed, my voice echoing through the trees.
Cross grabbed her by the arm, dragging her back up. "Where is he?" he demanded. "Where is Nathan?"
"I’m sorry," she whimpered. "Please don’t kill me..."
"Where is he?" I screamed again, yanking her hair roughly. "Where is my son?"
"The rogues took him," she blurted out, tears streaming down her face as she tried to pull away from me. "They attacked me. I couldn’t fight them all, so they took him."
"You gave our alpha’s son to rogues?" Dan, the leader of the warriors, growled, stepping in front of her. "If you know what’s good for you, you better confess where they fucking went."
"They went that way," she pointed to the right, with a shaky voice. "I swear, I tried to fight them, but they were too strong."
"Permission to kill her, Luna," Dan’s eyes burned with fury.
I placed a gentle hand on his shoulder, shaking my head. "I want her alive," I said firmly. "I want her to come with us. And I swear, if anything happens to Nathan, I’ll be the one to torture you, Kelsey, until you’re begging for mercy."
Kelsey’s eyes widened in fear, and she nodded frantically. "I swear, I’ll help you find him. Please, just don’t hurt me."
I turned to the warriors. "Alright, let’s move. We don’t have a second to waste."
We began running in the direction she had pointed. Dan pointed out the tracks left by the rogues’ footsteps, and we followed them swiftly.
Suddenly, Dan stopped us, his hand raised in a silent command. "What is it, Dan?" I asked impatiently. "Why did you stop?"
"It’s not safe to go inside there, Luna," he explained in a sullen expression. "That’s rogue territory."
"And so?" I snapped. "Are you saying I should back down? I’m not leaving here without my baby."
"But Luna," Dan pleaded with worried filled eyes. "We need more backup. If we go in there and anything happens to you, our Alpha will kill us."
"And what if something happens to Nathan?" I countered, my voice rising. "Do you think Razor will be happy then?"
Dan lowered his gaze, defeated. "No, Luna. We can’t let that happen."
"Then we’re going in," I said with finality. "Come on, let’s go."
We moved forward, crossing into rogue territory. The atmosphere grew even more oppressive, the trees seeming to close in around us. Every sound was amplified, every shadow a potential threat.
Dan and the rest flanked me, their senses on high alert. We advanced cautiously, following the tracks deeper into the territory. The scent of rogues grew stronger, mingling with the unmistakable scent of Nathan. My heart pounded in my chest, each beat echoing my desperate hope.
As we moved further, the tracks led us to a clearing. Dan signaled for us to stop again. "They’re close," he whispered, his eyes scanning the surroundings.
I nodded. "Be ready," I instructed. "We go in fast and hard."
The warriors readied themselves. I could see the tension in their bodies, the readiness for battle. But there was also determination. They would fight for my baby as fiercely as I would.
We moved into the clearing, spreading out to cover more ground. The rogue camp was just ahead, and we could hear the sounds of their movements.
We sighted the rogues, drinking and smoking near their camp. The stench of alcohol and smoke hung heavy in the air, masking our approach. Suddenly, one of the rogues dropped his bottle and raised his hand.
"Hey, do ya hear anything?" he asked, standing up.
"Over there," another pointed, just as we launched our attack. We moved swiftly, killing every rogue in our path.
The rogues fought back, but we had the upper hand, taking them by surprise.
"Call for backup, Bruce!" one of them screamed, just as Dan ripped his heart out.
"Don’t let him get away, Cross!" I screamed. Thankfully, Cross intercepted Bruce before he could call for reinforcements.
"Bring him here," I ordered, glancing at the dead bodies of the rogues. Bruce was the only one left alive.
Cross forced him to his knees in front of me.
"Where’s my baby?" I placed my blade right in front of his eyes. "Tell me this instant, or I’ll fucking kill you."
"I don’t know what you’re talking about," he spat, and Dan punched him hard in the nose.
"Do you know Alpha Razor King?" I asked, seeing the fear in Bruce’s eyes. "So you know who he is. Well, that little baby is my son, and Alpha Razor is the father and my husband."
Bruce whimpered, lowering himself to the ground. "Please, Luna, don’t take me to him, please. I had nothing to do with it."
"Then tell me where my baby is."
Bruce looked up at me, trembling. "The other rogues brought him here, but they sold him off to a pack."
"A pack?" Cross asked, confused. "What pack?"
"The Star Moon Pack."
"What do they want with my baby?" I cried, growing more frustrated. "Answer me!"
"They’re probably going to train him into a warrior or use him as a slave," he explained, clasping his hands together. "Please, Luna, I wasn’t in on this. I had nothing to do with this."
I turned to Dan. "We’re going there."
"I don’t think that’s a good idea, Isabella," Cross sighed. "Maybe we should try my brother’s number again."
"It’s not going back! And I’m not going back without my baby. Now let’s go."
"What do we do with him?" Dan pointed at Bruce.
"Kill him," I ordered, and Dan swiftly ripped his head off.
Kelsey began to laugh, surprising us all.
I turned to her, stunned. "What’s funny, you witch?"
"I warned you not to mess with me, but you refused to listen," she sneered. "If only you had left and didn’t try to steal the boss away from me."
"Shut the fuck up," Cross scolded, but she scoffed.
"And now you’re probably going to pay for it. You’ve lost your son, and you’ll lose the boss when he returns," she began to laugh maniacally. "Nathan is dead!"
"I’ve fucking had it," I said, pulling out my blade and stabbing her straight in the chest, ripping out her heart. Her body collapsed in a pool of blood.
I turned dark eyes to Cross and the rest. "Let’s go!"
