Alpha Razor King-Chapter 138: Stop!
**Razor**
"Where are you going, Gray?" my father asked immediately as I stepped into the living room.
I raised my brow slightly. "Is there a problem?"
"Well, I just wanted to know what you’re up to, son."
"You know, it seems as though you’re hiding something from me."
"I’m not hiding anything from you, son. I’m just worried," he said, taking off his glasses and placing them beside a stool. "You don’t really trust that lady, do you?"
"You know what, I’ve made up my mind. I’m going to Upperville."
"Gray!"
"What is it, father? Why are you so against me?" I snapped, clearly irritated. I was aware that he saved me five years ago and wasn’t obviously my birth father. That means Isabella might actually be telling the truth.
"After everything I’ve done for you."
"And I’m grateful for that, father. But you can’t keep me in the dark forever. I want to know what happened." I drew a deep breath before walking out of the mansion.
I understood that he might be worried, but he was overdoing it right now. I needed to know about my past, and nobody was going to stop me.
I approached my car, and some of my men came forward to follow me, but I held up a hand to stop them.
"I’ll be going alone," I told them before getting into the car.
I drove for a few minutes before arriving at my office. As I got down, I saw Marv waiting at the entrance.
"Welcome, boss," he said, bowing slightly before motioning towards the door. "You have a visitor."
"Visitor?" I furrowed my brow. Just then, a little boy stormed out of the office and rushed to me.
"I’ve been waiting for you!" he exclaimed excitedly, wrapping his little arms around my waist.
I looked up and saw Cross coming outside. Realization dawned on me; the boy looked a lot like me, just as Isabella had stated earlier.
"What’s going on?" I asked Cross, looking at the little boy who was still holding me.
"I’ve been trying to get through to Isabella and the rest, but the call is not connecting," Cross replied.
"Where did they go?"
"To the pack house," he answered. "The man responsible for your disappearance years ago is back."
"When did you last speak to her?"
"Yesterday night," Cross sighed, visibly distressed. "She informed me that Tom had arrived with his army, and that was the last thing I heard from her."
This wasn’t what I had planned. Damn it!
I was quiet for a moment, deep in thought, but the little boy tugged at my jacket, breaking into my thoughts.
"Please, Mr.... please save my mommy."
His plea pierced through my confusion and frustration. I knelt down to his level, placing a hand gently on his shoulder. "Don’t worry, Nathan. I’ll take care of it," I reassured the little boy as he clung to my hand.
"But boss," Marv interjected, "your father said we needed to take care of the shipment of the weapons today."
I drew a deep breath, realizing I’d actually forgotten about that. "Alright, I’ll just take care of it before I leave."
Cross looked like he wanted to say something but hesitated. I gave him a reassuring nod. "I won’t take long. You can wait inside."
Taking Nathan’s hand, I led him into the building. His small fingers gripped mine tightly, seeking comfort and assurance.
As we walked through the hallways, I glanced down at him. "Do you like it here, Nathan?"
He nodded shyly. "It’s big and beautiful."
"Good," I said, giving him a small smile. He was actually a cute kid...and apparently he was my son.
We arrived at my office, and I motioned for Nathan to sit on the couch. "Stay here for a bit, okay? I’ll just handle some business and then we’ll go."
He nodded, watching me with wide, trusting eyes.
I turned to Marv and Cross. "Alright, let’s make this quick. What’s the status of the shipment?"
Marv handed me a tablet, displaying the details. "Everything’s ready, boss. We just need your approval to proceed."
I reviewed the information, making sure everything was in order. "Make sure the delivery is secure and discreet. We can’t afford any mistakes."
"Understood," Marv replied, taking the tablet back. 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚
As Marv and the rest left to finalize the shipment details, I turned back to Nathan, who was watching me intently. "Everything okay, buddy?"
He nodded, his small face serious. "Are we going to save Mommy now?"
"Yes, Nathan," I said, kneeling down in front of him. "We’re going to save your mom."
I stood up and went to my desk to round up a few things. After fifteen minutes, I was through. "Is the jet ready?" I asked one of my men, who nodded. "Good. Come on, Nathan, let’s go."
Nathan and I strode out of the office and saw Cross already waiting at the exit. "Let’s go," I told him as we all walked outside together.
Marv and the rest approached, their expressions hard.
"What’s the matter? Is there a problem?" I raised an eyebrow.
Marv sighed before averting his gaze. "Your father asked us to make sure you don’t leave for Upperville."
I scoffed, shaking my head slowly. "Do y’all have a death wish?"
"I’m sorry, boss, but..." Marv trailed off, clearly conflicted.
"Are you loyal to me or my father?" Marv trailed off, as I interrupted him.
He laughed, though there was no humor in it. "No hard feelings, but we’re loyal to money only."
I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. Suddenly, more men arrived, surrounding me and wielding weapons.
"The both of you can leave," Marv pointed at Cross and Nathan. "We have no business with you."
"Then you’re going to have to make me. I’m not leaving this place without my brother." Cross spat at him, refusing to back down.
"You heard him," I smiled. "You’re going to have to stop us. But don’t say I didn’t warn you."
