Alpha Razor King-Chapter 78: Regret.
**Isabella**
The next morning, I made my way to the kitchen, eager to whip up something for breakfast. Our new room was upstairs, and my beautiful pup was still asleep, giving me the perfect chance to rustle up a meal.
I walked into the kitchen, and saw Felicia already busy wiping up a meal. The aroma of spices filled the air, making my stomach growl in anticipation.
"Hey, Felicia," I greeted her, walking over to where she was working. "Need any help?"
Felicia looked up, a smile lighting up her face. "Oh, hey Luna," she replied. "No, I’ve got it. You don’t have to worry about it."
"I insist," I said, rolling up my sleeves. "Let me help you. It’s the least I can do, come on."
Felicia hesitated for a moment before nodding. "Alright, if you insist," she said, her smile widening. "You can start by chopping up those vegetables over there."
I grabbed a knife and cutting board, joining Felicia at the counter.
After a few minutes, we finished preparing the meal. Felicia began to arrange Razor’s meal on a tray, but before I could offer to take it to him, the door opened, and Dean walked in, followed by a lady. It was the same girl who had returned with Razor and Dean last night.
Our gazes met, and she smiled, but the smile didn’t reach her eyes.
"Oh, where are my manners," Felicia spoke up, pointing at the lady. "This is Kelsey, and she’s my niece."
"Oh, I didn’t know you had a niece," I said, forcing out a smile. "Nice to meet you, Kelsey."
Kelsey wasn’t even pretty, with her stupid red hair and everything.
"Same here uh....." she raised a brow, unsure of how to address me.
"Luna," Dean and Felicia chorused together, but Kelsey’s lips tightened slightly, and she scoffed.
"And I think that’s all in the past now," she remarked snidely.
"Kelsey!" her aunt chided sharply. "Behave, you little brat."
"What did I do?" Kelsey pouted innocently.
Not another Tara. Fucking fake ass. I already fucking hate this bitch.
"I’ll go give Razor his meal," I offered, wanting nothing more than to be away from this damn bitch. But before I could move, she brushed past me and grabbed the tray.
"I don’t think he’ll want that for obvious reasons," she shrugged. "I’ll bring it to him instead."
Ignoring me, Kelsey took the tray and zoomed out of the kitchen. I watched her go, feeling a surge of anger and frustration. This was not how I had envisioned my return to the pack.
"I’m so sorry about that, Luna. I don’t know why Kelsey is so stubborn," Felicia apologized genuinely.
"I’m also sorry, Felicia, because I don’t like your niece already. She’s a bitch!" I snapped, unable to calm my raging heartbeat.
"Here she is!" Dean chuckled. "Still feisty and all, Luna."
His words made me relax a bit, and a small smile crept onto my face.
"Don’t take her too seriously, Luna. She’s... she just really likes the boss," Felicia explained.
"What?" I gasped, clearly not liking where this was going. "And what about Razor... does he... nevermind." I waved my hands dismissively, reaching for my food tray on the counter.
Felicia and Dean exchanged a glance, a silent conversation passing between them. Dean cleared his throat, breaking the awkward silence.
"The boss is... well, he’s been through a lot," Dean started carefully. "Since you left, he’s been focused on rescuing Cross and reclaiming the pack."
I nodded. "I see," I said quietly, my heart aching at the mention of Cross’s name.
"But he’s still the same Razor you knew," Dean added quickly, as if to reassure me. "He’s just... he’s just trying to protect everyone."
I nodded again, feeling a mix of emotions. "Thank you, Dean," I said, grateful for his words. "I... I’ll go eat now."
After breakfast, I brought my sweet pup downstairs, but Razor was still not out of his office. Dean smiled as I stepped into the living room, taking my baby from me and carrying him gently.
"He’s so lovely," Dean gushed, his eyes adoring my sweetheart.
"His eyes are enough to bring anyone to their knees," Chris chimed in, resting his back on the couch.
I noticed the eye bags under Chris’s eyes. He probably didn’t get any sleep at all last night. "Are you alright?" I asked, taking a seat across from him. "You don’t look so good."
"I’ve been trying to speak to the boss since last night, but he doesn’t want to see me. He asked Dean to tell me to leave," Chris bemoaned, rubbing his face roughly.
"He did?" I raised my brow, surprised. "And you’re still here?"
Chris chuckled bitterly. "I know, right... I must have a death wish. I... I just want to explain myself to him, I swear. But at this point, he might really kill me."
"He won’t," Dean chimed in, settling down on the couch with my baby in his arms. "The boss will not kill you."
"How are you so sure?" Chris asked, a hint of desperation in his voice.
"We first traced you to Elizabeth Crest town and reported to him. If he wanted you to be brought back or even dead, he would have done that, believe me. But he asked us to let you go." 𝕗𝕣𝐞𝐞𝘄𝐞𝚋𝚗𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹.𝚌𝕠𝚖
"Same as me also," I added with a sigh. "He knew I was in Linkin Town."
Chris was dumbfounded, clearly not expecting that revelation.
"I don’t... know... what to say," his voice cracked with emotions.
I hadn’t seen Chris this emotional before. He looked touched, and his eyes were glinting with unshed tears.
Just then, Razor stepped into the living room with Kelsey following closely behind him. Dean and Chris immediately stood up from the couch before dropping to their knees. I also stood, my eyes fixed on him. He was wearing an ash-colored tailored suit, and he looked really good.
Razor went straight to Dean and collected our baby from him, lifting him up in the air gently. It was a beautiful sight to behold as he played with our son sweetly for a minute before giving him back to Dean.
"Stay here and watch the mansion," his focus was solely on Dean. "I’ll be back."
He began to walk, with Kelsey catwalking behind him, before stopping right next to Chris.
"You had better be gone before I return," he ordered coldly without even looking at Chris before walking out of the mansion.
I sighed, collapsing on the couch.
"Welp, that was intense," Dean muttered, getting up on his feet, but Chris remained on his knees.
"Razor didn’t even look my way." I fisted my fingers, Kelsey’s stupid face appearing in front of my eyes. .
"I’m not getting up from here until the boss returns," Chris stated firmly.
Dean and I exchanged a look, unsure of what to make of this . It was unlike Chris to be so stubborn, especially in front of Razor.
"Chris, you don’t have to do this," Dean said, trying to reason with him. "The boss was clear. He wants you gone."
"I know, but I need to talk to him," Chris replied, his voice unwavering. "I need his forgiveness. I can’t just leave without setting things right."
I could see the determination in Chris’s eyes, and I knew that there was no changing his mind. He was willing to risk Razor’s wrath to make amends, and I couldn’t help but admire his fucking courage.
"Alright, Chris," I said, sitting up, on the couch. "I’ll stay with you. We’ll wait together."
Dean sighed, realizing that he couldn’t change Chris’s mind. "Fine, I’ll stay too," he said, sitting back down on the couch.
After a minute of silence, Dean spoke up. "But can I ask you something? Why Tara? Why not someone else?"
Chris sighed, nodding his head. "I was stupid, a fool because I lusted over her. She was beautiful, strong, and smart... I just couldn’t resist."
"She was also very nice to you," Dean added, a hint of disappointment in his tone. "She knew you liked her and used it to her advantage."
"I regret it... I regret the day I let her escape from that dungeon," Chris lamented. "I swear I fucking wish I could turn back the hands of time."
"It’s all in the past now... the damage has been done," Dean stated, drawing a deep sigh. "And that bitch is somewhere right now hiding."
I felt really bad for Chris. He had fallen in love with the wrong person and had gotten himself into trouble. I hoped that Razor could forgive him and at least hear him out, but I wasn’t so sure about that right now. Razor seemed to hate both Chris and me.

After dinner, I tucked my little pup in bed. I took a quick shower and made my way downstairs, not surprised to still see Chris kneeling at the exact same spot, looking tired.
"He’s refused to get up," Dean stated, striding towards me. "His mind is already made up."
The sound of tires screeching alerted us that Razor was back, sending my heartbeat flying dramatically. My eyes traveled to Chris to see he was now kneeling upright, shoulders squared up as he took a deep breath.
Dean and I shared a look, hoping that all hell would not break loose tonight.
Razor walked in, of course, with that obsessed bitch besides him, his alluring scent filling the whole room. He froze in steps, his brows creasing together as he saw Chris kneeling at the exact same spot he left.
"What the fuck are you still doing here, Chris?" Razor’s voice was low, but it carried a dangerous edge.
