Alpha's Lost Luna Returns With His Twins-Chapter 304-His Words Are A Melody
Lara:
"That is it. That is the best punishment for her. Throw her in the mountain prison. She should realize that all the favors she got were because of you, because you were in love with her," his mother urged.
Zoe began to nod in agreement.
"You cannot take my children away from me," Iris uttered softly.
"Why not? You’re not a good mother anyway. You’re more focused on the men around you than your children," I said, stepping in to support Kash and approve his punishment.
That would be the best for her.
If she were thrown into prison, she would still have food, a place to sleep, and no more people to fool and manipulate. Isolation was better.
She would have to wash clothes in that small room. The warriors would bring her wood to cut and endless chores, just to earn the basic necessities of eating and sleeping. It was perfect.
I knew those punishments were harsh. When tasks were not completed immediately, the warriors would not even let her sit.
They had different ways of torturing her, including throwing hot water on her, dousing her with cold water, and whipping the soles of her feet. And from the way she looked so weak, I knew she would not be able to complete those tasks.
"Yes, I approve of this punishment, along with twenty whips to her back and the soles of her feet."
Then the victim of her abuse, Markus, spoke up, giving his decision on the extreme punishment for Iris.
Everybody turned to look at him, but Kash took his time. The way he turned around was frightening.
If he had not caught Iris himself in that cabin, something like this would have gotten Markus killed. But because Iris had betrayed Kash and Markus was the victim, Kash did not say anything against him.
Instead, he began to nod in agreement.
"Yeah, she deserves it. She deserves to be punished for lying and raping someone." I mumbled.
"So that is it. Not only will you be cast aside, but you are going to be caned the way you deserve."
Kash had barely finished speaking when Iris let out a deep cry, shaken by his words and, more importantly, by the punishment.
Kash grabbed Iris by the arm and started dragging her. The disrespect was beautiful. All the maids were watching.
Zoe was immediately hugged by Lady Vivian because she needed comfort. I went after Kash and motioned for Markus to follow me.
I wanted to see her get caned. I wanted her beaten in public, in front of everyone, so there would be no chance of return.
However, when we reached the exit, I saw Kash dragging her to the car and throwing her into the backseat, slamming the door shut. He began pacing, running a hand through his hair while I watched.
Iris leaned forward in the backseat and started crying into her hands.
"Kash, what are you doing?" I asked, approaching him, trying to calm him down.
But he was so aggressive that I had to step back. I was carrying a child, and I did not want anything to happen to me.
"There is a victim here. It would be better if he sees her getting punished so he can look her in the eye and tell her he is taking his power back," I said to Kash, pointing at Markus, who was clenching his jaw and pretending to look hurt.
I mean, a woman like Iris would never sleep with him. I hated her, but I knew she was gorgeous. A little too gorgeous for him.
"First, I’m going to throw her in that mountain prison," he said.
He started walking toward the driver’s seat, but before getting in, he looked at me, wanting to hit Iris’s ego one more time.
"You’re coming with me. I want you beside me, my Luna Queen."
When Kash said those words, separating his anger to soften his tone for me, shock spread across everyone’s faces.
The warriors stared at him. Markus looked stunned because Kash would never soften his tone when he was angry, especially not this angry.
His veins were popping.
I guess he was finally realizing he had made a terrible mistake. And I was going to make sure the truth never came out.
I gave Kash a nod and hurried to the passenger seat.
He got in, slammed the door shut, then turned toward me while I shifted slightly so I could see Iris.
She was watching us in shock.
Kash leaned down and carefully fastened my seatbelt.
"You need to take care of yourself," Kash said, gently pinching my chin before looking ahead again.
As he started the car, I turned around because I could not stop myself from looking at Iris to see her reaction.
When I did, she was staring at me, her mouth open, tears streaming down her cheeks.
"You give your world to someone, and they show you where they truly belong. You have no idea what I am going to do to the woman sitting in the backseat."
Kash held his tongue when he was about to curse at her.
I placed my hand on his bicep. Then I turned slightly to watch Iris and squeezed his arm.
"Please calm down. I cannot see you in so much pain," I uttered.
"Stop the car. I am not going anywhere with you. I am not getting punished for something I did not do," Iris screamed.
Of course, he was not going to open the door while the car was speeding.
"The car will stop when we reach the mountain prison," Kash responded coldly.
The way he was driving scared me.
Finally, half an hour later, we arrived.
Among the mountains stood a dark one-bedroom, one-bathroom cabin. It was painted entirely black. Even the inside was black.
It was meant to cause delusions, illusions, and deep distress to criminals.
Once the car stopped, Kash stepped out. I quickly unbuckled my seatbelt because I wanted to witness everything.
I wanted Iris to see that I was watching her humiliation.
I got out of the car as Kash opened the back door and dragged Iris out.
He slammed her against the car, holding both her arms and glaring at her.
"I gave you my love, and you ruined it. You humiliated me. Your disloyalty made me hate you. But this punishment will not be all. I will break you piece by piece."
His words sounded like a melody. A melody whose lyrics I had written.
