Alpha's Secret Bride-Chapter 96: Love No Throne Can Break
Brandon slowly rolled over and faced Emma. He bent forward and began to whisper some romantic words into her ear as his fingers lightly grazed over her sensitive n!pples, teasing the soft peak of her brea*t in a gentle, unhurried way. His touch was light, yet it stirred something deep within her wolf. She kept giggling sheepishly, her wolf easing as though all her worries had faded away, leaving her feeling bold, playful, and completely drawn to her mate.
"Remember that crazy thing I told you the day I came to your pack house?" he whispered. She smiled and shook her head.
"I told you that I have a lot of naughty thoughts each time I look at you."
"Yes, yes, I remember!"
"When I looked at you, I felt like taking you away from your parents, giving you a mother and a home where I could always visit you every moonend and spend the whole moonend with you...and of course...be with you in every way.
And if my kins disagreed, I would leave them and move in with you. I planned to get bonded to you on your sixteenth birth moon-cycle."
"Oh my moon goddess! I’m glad you knew it was a naughty thought!"
"I knew that and I didn’t know how long I would have held on. Moonheart, I am addicted to you," he said pathetically.
"I wouldn’t have allowed you to leave your kins," she let out. His expression suddenly grew serious as he fixed his eyes on her.
"What is it?"
"Moonheart, I wasn’t joking when I told you not to remove the necklace."
"Lunara attacked me and it cut," she whimpered. He moved his face closer and sensually ran his hands on her cheeks.
"Okay, she unleashed her anger because I chose you over her," he said calmly and began to tease her again.
"What made you feel embarrassed today at the throne hall?"
"Feeling your warmth lingering down my legs as I walked towards the golden canopy," she said seductively. "It was as if even a part of you wanted me to turn back. I felt like coming back and losing myself in you again." Brandon burst into laughter and slowly slid his hand into her nightgown. Her breathing changed immediately.
"I think it would be better if we always sleep in our various bedchamber," she said with the lowest tone ever, trying to stop his hand.
"Why?" He asked with the same tone.
"I lose my bets to your touch and closeness today. I can’t even fight it."
"Same here," he grinned. Their fingers interlocked and she took in a quick breath again. She felt like being kissed and touched all over. However, he kept staring at her and skimming her hips and thighs.
Just like she had wanted, his mouth landed on hers and the pressure was quite relentless and intoxicating. She wanted him close—so close that nothing could separate them—as soon as she felt the solid warmth of him against her hip. She did not know why she always longed for him this deeply whenever they were together. Perhaps her body and soul were trying to fill the empty winters she had once lived in quiet longing.
Her breathing kept becoming stronger as she tried to curb her impatience. Their passionate kiss kept increasing, and it was as if she had taken in all the air in the chamber, a wave of heat wrapping around their wolves. She pushed him over to his back, sat astride his lower abdomen, and began to kiss him with unrestrained emotion.
She loved touching him, and he knew it—always guiding her hand gently. Flashes of closeness and intensity filled her mind as she explored him, her boldness growing with every passing moment. His low groans sent thrilling vibrations through her wolf. She lowered herself, showing him just how much she wanted him, her actions filled with raw affection and hunger. She trailed her lips lower, exploring him fully, her desire to keep him close forever burning fiercely within her.
He gently pushed her down and she fell beside him. His eyes glowed with heated passion as he released his restraint, but she wasn’t afraid. All she wanted was to feel him completely, to be joined with him in every possible way. He was intense with her, but it only deepened the overwhelming connection between them. 𝚏𝐫𝚎𝗲𝕨𝐞𝐛𝕟𝚘𝐯𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝗺
She lay in the utopia of his love, her lips parting softly as she surrendered to the pleasure he gave her. She tried several times to take over, but he wanted to lead, holding her in place and continuing his rhythm, leaving her at his mercy in the most consuming way.
Her wolf tightened around him, feeling every movement, every deep connection. The soft, rhythmic sounds of their union and their heavy breathing filled the chamber, echoing their bond.
"I love you," she said, running her hands on his face. He just narrowed his eyes and assured her that he felt the same.
Even the trembling from her center couldn’t slow him down. She guessed he wanted to overwhelm her with wave after wave of pleasure, and he did.
He hadn’t shown her this level of intensity since they became mates—because he had been patient, handling her gently, waiting for her wolf to fully loosen to him.
He lay beside her and pulled her in for a cuddle. They pulled the duvet up to their chest. She was grateful to the Moon Goddess for giving her such a wonderful mate. She slowly succumbed to a soft, heavy sleep as she held him tightly, as though he would disappear if she let go.
She was awoken by the sound of the King’s private flying beast that landed on the estate. She opened her eyes and saw her mate lying by his side, supporting his head with an elbow as he stared at her. She didn’t know how long he had been in that position. She wondered what he was thinking as he stared. She rolled over and turned her back on him. He grinned and turned her around again.
"I’m just wondering how life without you would have been. It would have been the most empty life," he said, and pulled her closer. He kept fondling and kissing her hair until they heard the sound of the king’s private flying beast taking off again.
"Your fated bride is back," she let out. He ignored her and continued fondling her hair.
Brandon turned and stared at the wireless Bluetooths that were beside him when the green lights began to blink. He picked one up, fixed it in his ear, and relaxed on the headboard.
He looked at Emma and pointed at the second Bluetooth that was beside him. She took it and fixed it in her ear too.
"I waited for your reply last moon-fall, but I waited in vain."
"Reply on what?" Brandon asked.
"The idea I came up with."
"Which of your ideas?"
"I told you that I don’t want you to lose your birthright, my prince!"
"I’m aware and I see you working towards that."
"Be part of this mating ceremony, that’s all I’m asking. You can live with whoever you want to live with. Just be part of the mating ceremony so you don’t lose your birthright!"
"Being part of the mating ceremony makes you what again?" Brandon asked, looking at Emma.
"Your real mate."
"And Emma?"
"Your mistress, concubine, Secret Bride or whatever you choose to call her," she said with a flat tone.
Brandon and Emma burst into laughter. She laughed out so loud to make sure she heard her voice.
"Fine! I’m glad you let her in on this conversation! Brandon, you said you wanted to think over it and give me your response later. I want to know what you think."
"Well, I said that to get your stinking wolf out of my car," Brandon said and tossed the Bluetooth aside. He slowly rolled out of bed and headed towards the bathchamber. Emma refused to remove the Bluetooth she had in her ear as she continued laughing at the most foolish wolf ever.
"I know you are hearing me. He is about to lose his birthright and everything he inherited from his kin as the Moon Prince to one of his cousins and the king is serious!"
"You are a fool Emma! Walk away if you don’t want him to lose it. Sticking bitch!!"
"Starlit, harder, go wild my Moon Prince," Emma moaned dramatically, making it seem like she was lost in an intimate moment with Brandon just to drive Lunara crazy.
She hung up and tossed the Bluetooth aside.
"Moonheart, you are really going to drive her crazy."
"Oh my moon goddess! Starlit, did you tell my father she was your moonmate that day at our pack house?"
"No"
"What did you tell him that day?"
"He just asked me who I was and I told him, that was all. He began to ask me questions about the king and his council of elders. I told him little I knew. I later told him not to tell you guys," he shrugged. "Why do you ask?"
"I want to know what gave her and her parents so much audacity! I want to know why she is convinced you are hers!"
"The supposed prophecy, I guess."
"She is so shameless!"
"By the way, who is Scarlet among your kins?" Brandon asked.
"No one bears the name."
"Alright, forget about Lunara. I just wanted you to listen to the funny idea she came up with. We are traveling tomorrow, remember?" he asked. She lowered her head and nodded as the joy of meeting her blood mother made her heart leap.
