An Extra's POV: My Three Fiancees Hate Me-Chapter 71: First punch

The first event of the story was scheduled to happen during the first part of the entrance examination that was held at the academy.

Since it was not in the academy this year, Riven had entirely forgotten about it. The first event, where a student obsessed with coming out on top of the exams and being the top student went overboard.

He trapped all those he saw as opponents to his goals and tried to eradicate them, his plan failed at the end, but many were severely injured, and that was because the instructors came in fast.

And that student? The son of a marquess, William, his father had driven into him the necessity of being on top, and all that slowly shifted his mindset and soon turned him into a slave for being on top.

’I should have known this would happen, why did I let down my guard, how could I forget something this crucial,’ Riven thought.

"All of you, I knew you lot would get the last time leave the dungeon, I saw it, hahahaha, I saw that all of you would come out at this exact moment and so I waited," William said, speaking like a madman.

"What the hell are you saying, get out of the way and allow us pass," Mia said, her hands already on her sword, everyone else also took her initiative and pulled their weapons, except Riven.

’No Mia, this is not how to deal with this situation, William doesn’t care about consequences anymore, his mind is skewered. Sadly I can’t tell you this.’

"Hahaha hahahaha hahahaha." William burst into a fit of laughter, his tongue hanging out of his mouth, his eyes twisted like a crazed man.

"Nothing you say will help you anymore, so all of you can simply shut the hell up and die." He said and placed his hand on the ground, pouring mana into the ground immediately.

The blood circle lit up immediately, glowing brightly.

’The Wyvern summoning, the creature he pulled in the event, there’s no way we can fight that,’ Riven thought.

"Everyone move back, he is summoning an undead wyvern," Riven yelled and started retreating.

"Ohhhh? We have a smart one in the bunch. BUT THAT DOESN’T MATTER, YOU WILL ALL STILL DIE," William yelled.

He moved out of the way and allowed the wyvern to come out from the circle. The massive skeleton of a wyvern filled the passage, standing there with a terrifying fire in its eyes, ready to devour.

Its presence alone sent chills down their spines, looking at this creature that could easily tear them apart.

William walked in front of the Wyvern, his smile wide from ear to ear. "Now all of you behold your doom, what I have been planning for days and days unend, I gave everything to make sure that this was..... "

The wyvern bit down on William, removing his entire upper body, only allowing the remaining half to fall to the ground.

Everyone’s eyes trembled when they saw this sight.

’This is wrong, William was supposed to have control, what happened? Why did he die?’ Riven thought, trying to figure out what had gone wrong, but there was not enough time for that, the wyvern was there, ready to kill them all.

"This is a Royal order from the prince of Vermillion, if any of you dare to desert at this time, you will be tagged as a traitor and your family will all be executed.

We take down this wyvern here and now, so help in any way that you can," the prince roared out loudly and pulled out his sword without hesitation.

Not everyone was happy to hear what he said, but no one could complain, and so they got ready to fight.

The wyvern moved, it charged in like a train toward them, the prince gritted his teeth, he looked at his sister. "Slow it down," he said and she immediately cast a spell, forming an ice wall.

The wyvern slammed into the ice wall, and though it broke through, it had been slowed enough for the prince to attack, but he didn’t attack alone.

Lance, Mia and the prince charged in. Lance’s sword glowed with a holy light, he charged in, going right for the head. The wyvern swung its winged arms to hit him, but Mia blocked it, or she thought she did, because the force of the attack slammed her back and slammed into Lance as well, only managing to block and not take a serious injury, but he was chucked into a wall.

Robert the prince used the opportunity as the wyvern beast concentrated on them to charge in closer and go for an attack, but there wasn’t much he could do now, was there? The wyvern turned its neck, and from its hollow rib cage, it began generating a huge ball of fire.

’It’s about to use dragon’s breath, the idiot prince is about to die,’ Riven thought. He already knew that they were no match for this wyvern, they were all thirteen and fourteen-year-olds.

Even Lance, he couldn’t do anything even if he was the hero, he lacked the experience to make this happen.

"Shit," Riven gritted his teeth, he had no other choice now, after all the prince was a very important factor in this story.

"Noel move fast, get the prince!" he yelled and started running as well. Noel wasn’t sure what his brother was thinking, but he followed either way, and charged in, his feet exploded with lightning and he moved twice as fast as his normal speed.

He got to the prince and pulled him away just before the wyvern released its breath, barely missing both of them.

"Hey, pick on someone your own size!" Riven yelled and used Ignis, he leaped into the air, half of Ignis appeared around him like a suit of armor. freeωebnovēl.c૦m

The wyvern turned its head when it felt the immense heat, and as soon as it turned, a flaming fist from Ignis smashed into its face.
