Apocalypse system: I have unparallel comprehension-Chapter 59- Strange shadow
Dante heard the stomping of the giant monster as the ground shook. The air vibrated and for a moment a wave of mana spiked up.
Dante paused and looked ahead, extending the range of his eyes. He saw a man standing on top of the tree, holding a bow. His aura was much stronger than Shizuku and much different.
The man was looking toward something as he dropped his bow.
Dante continued to expand his eyes.
Slowly the body of the giant troll revealed. It was a surprise as the troll was much larger and stronger than the one he had encountered at the start of the tutorial.
Then, he saw another man, holding a longsword. For some reason, he remained Dante of the word "Crazy."
He didn’t know why but his gut was telling him that.
Dante ignored the man and continued to observe.
He paused as if the lighting ran through his spine, he felt the shivers. His eyes widened as he felt a familiar aura from the top of the troll.
Dante immediately dashed, running straight to it.
It is not a mistake. Yeah. This aura. This is.
He jumped up and climbed the tree. From there he continued to jump through the trees. He stopped when he felt the man with a bow noticed him.
But despite that, he couldn’t calm down his heart and resumed his action.
The archer fired a warning shot. Dante knew it was meant to stop him because the arrow was quite weak.
He swung the small axe and cut the arrow in half.
The archer again fired another arrow. The previous scene repeated.
He seemed to be fed up with this. Dante felt a lightning fast arrow piercing through the air.
He tilted his head, narrowly dodging it. But the pressure around the arrow melted his skin a little bit.
"How fast." He muttered and used Swift Rush.
His body blurred and he vanished in the eyes of the archer.
Dante appeared in front of the archer, ready to strike. The archer dropped the bow and blocked the strike.
Dante was a bit impressed by the sharpness of the archer. But he didn’t have any time to waste. He wanted to see the source of that aura.
For some reason, even if he got closer the faint aura he felt didn’t change. Maybe it was strong to fool his eyes?
No. The aura must be attacked.
’She must be hurt.’ Dante thought. He grabbed the archer’s arm and threw his fist in the left direction.
The archer tried to block the punch.
Dante abruptly changed direction and broke the archer’s right arms.
He screamed. Dante let go of the arm and hit the archer with his elbow, dropping him to the ground.
During the confrontation, Dante noticed something different but with no time, he decided to ignore that completely.
Dante continued to jump and landed on the troll’s body.
"Stop here, man."The man with a longsword said to him. His sword brightened red color, seemingly reflecting his mood.
Dante finally stopped as his eyes caught the source of the aura he was feeling. His eyes slowly drifted and landed on the the young man with a spiky black-haired. There was a a faint string of red hairs on his head but they were tiny compared to the black hair.
The most recognizable feature on the young man face was his two fangs sticking out from his mouth like a vampire.
He flashed a smile at Dante, revealing even more of his two fangs.
The young man opened his eyes, showing the red eyes. He looked down at Dante from the troll’s shoulder.
The young man let out a sigh and jumped down, arriving beside Dante.
Dante frowned. "Who are you?"
"Are you from High Heaven?" The young man asked.
"No. Who are you?" Dante asked again.
The young man smirked. "Are you from the Rebellion?" He asked slowly, emphasizing on the word "Rebellion."
"No." Dante answered. There was no falsehood in his word as he truly didn’t consider himself as a part of the Rebellion.
He sighed and glanced at the the young man, his expression cold. "Who are you? And why I sense her from your body?"
"Who?" The young man said, pointing to himself. "I am called Ashar. I joined the Union not long ago. I don’t know what you are talking about, you got it wrong?"
Ashar paused and looked up, contemplating his thoughts. He nodded. "Guess, it is because of my profession."
Dante slowly nodded. "What are you Union guys doing here?"
"I could ask you the same?" Ashar said.
The swordsman tapped his cold blade on Dante’s neck.
"I am going to High Heaven." Dante answered.
"Really?" Ashar’s eyes lit up and he formed a genuine smile.
"We are also going to that place? Wanna come with us. From here on there will be dangerous monsters now."
Dante looked around and let out a sigh. With a cold blade on his neck, he didn’t think Ashar was asking for his opinion.
Escaping this situation was easy but since they were going to the same place, Dante decided.
He nodded.
"Okay."
The sword dropped.
Ashar nodded. "Great. What is your name?"
"Dante."
"A good name. That swordsman is Domas and the archer is Kale."
Kale arrived beside Domas, there was no bruise or anything regarding the fact that his arm was broken by Dante.
It didn’t seem like he used Healing skill either.
’Clone?’ Dante thought. ’Doesn’t seem like it. Must be his skill.’

After the small episode, Dante continued his journey with the new companions he made.
During the journey, he observed the group as they observed him as well. Especially Kale who was looking at him intensely.
Domas was relaxed and he seemed to be a bit of an airhead.
Ashar was the most mysterious of the three. And he was the boss of this group according to Domas’s words.
Still, Dante couldn’t put down the familiar aura he was getting from Ashar. It put his mind in a state of frenzy.
Like he was forgetting something important about him.
After entering the forest for a bit, Kale stopped, signalling the rest of them into halt.
"Someone is looking at us.Careful." Kale warned as he drew his bow. He lifted up in the sky.
Dante grabbed Kale’s shoulder. He looked back at him without releasing the arrow.
"Don’t." Dante said. "I think they are from High Heaven."
Kale frowned and let go of the bow. He turned to Ashar who was playing with the bird. He attracted a lot of animals to him.
Dante suspected that it was either the side effect of his class or profession or his natural things. He had seemed a lot of hunter being a natural magnet to the animals.
"Boss! What should we do? We can’t just stand here."
"Fire the arrow." Ashar said without care.
Before Dante could stop, Kale released the arrow. It pierced through the air quietly, followed by a sonic boom.
"Dammit. You guys are too impulsive." Dante complained.
He watched as the arrow stopped by the invisible hand. At least, invisible to the naked eyes but his External hunter eyes showed clearly.
The hands was not made from mana but instead from some sort of aura skill. It had a small trace of life enegy into it.
It grabbed the arrow and broke into half.
Kale looked at this and nodded.
"Guess, it is a rumored place for real. I just fired my strongest shot." Kale sighed.
Ashar laughed. "That is because you are weak, Kale. Allow me to demonstrate the true strength."
Dante slapped Ashar’s hand and stood forward, lifting up his arms.
"We are here to meet with the leader of High Heaven." Dante yelled out. His voice traveled across the white forest.
"Tch!" Ashar clicked his tongue and continued playing with the bird which was standing on his shoulder.
Domas sighed in relief. He looked at Dante.
"Thanks God there is someone who is normal. I am getting tired to these guys."
Dante shook his head and didn’t say a word.
Soon, a shadow shape figure appeared in front of him. It observed the group, its eyes especially focused on Ashar.
The shadow pointed at Ashar and said.
"If you follow the rules then, we will let you come inside our base." It said, in a hoarse voice.
Ashar shrugged his shoulder and nodded.
"I will give you my word, you strange shadow."
The shadow nodded and pointed at the west. "Go there. You will see a cliff with bottomless pit. Jump and you will see our base."
The shadow melted into the ground, before it melted completely.
"Oh, careful when you jumped there were a lot of monster nesting there."
Dante nodded and followed the shadow.
The rest of the men followed as well soon they reached at the pit the shadow was talking about.
Dante slowly walked over and looked down. Even if he extended the eyes to the fullest, he couldn’t see the end of the pit.
It was truly terrifying.
The wind howled and rushed forward, lifting up his hairs.
